I worked @ Crow Valley just north of Angeles City. Ran across many AETA, AGTA, ATI and BATAK people living up in the Mountains. They ran the Jungle School for all the Pilot’s. Love watching these videos. Great job Q!
I’ve gotta do this when I visit. Getting back in touch with nature in such an idyllic location, foraging for food and learning jungle survival skills would be great fun. Did Joseph give you all a sit down talk before you set off and make you aware of some of the more common hazards/dangers out there such as poisonous snakes and insects and what to do if bitten and did anyone carry a sat phone or Garmin Inreach for any emergency situation arising? The heat and humidity must make hiking tough on some of that hilly terrain for sure so a long soak in the cool waters of that stream is gonna feel like heaven after a long day. Looking forward to the wild boar hunt in the next episode.✌🏹🐖🍔
Hi Jungle Jim, looks like you made it through day 1. LOL You could learn so much out in the jungle. Glad you have Joseph with you guys. Best of luck on day 2. Peace brother. 👍
No fear, that was a common wolf spider. Deadly to an insect, but no more venomous than a bee sting to humans. They’re good to have around to keep the cockroach population down.
