Nice treat to take Jessa and her family to dinner but maybe next time have them over for a meal even if it is take out as the mom might be more comfortable but sometimes trust takes time. A Big 25 kilo bag of rice might be an appreciated Xmas gift and if you give the boy a basketball include the hoop even if it is a homemade one, better yet a wiffle ball set so other kids in barangay can play too. Kids nowadays want tablets, and computers to play games on internet.

Thanks for taking Jessa and her family out in this restaurant. For me, Jessas mom is a true hero. I guess she can not understand what’s going on or she needs more time to build more trust to the process.

Jessa always presents herself on your videos with a humble and diplomatic demeanor. What a class act. You would never know her poor economic situation by the way she carries herself so strongly. Her brother seems like a nice and well mannered boy. Her mother is uncomfortable but will hopefully come around and accept you and Ai as the compassionate people you are.

I took my mother-in-law out of her village life surroundings into a top beach front apartment for several months retreat with me and the wife, she HATED IT hahha.. All she wanted to do was get back to work in the fields bless.. She sure looked a whole lot different with her hair done, makeup and nails clean lol, but as the old saying goes, you can take a woman out of the village, but not the village out of the woman. Jessa on the other hand, is born for better things.
Her potential and mindset is definitely different from her mother
