That’s so cool. I also met Filipina online, she ended up coming here 9 months later(canada). We both had the intent to get married. Didn’t take long after actually meeting to know we would and 4 months later we had small intimate wedding, just had our 1 year anniversary this past Dec. We plan to go to Phillipines next winter for Christmas, ironically it’s her job that kinda ties us down. I’m free for 2 months every winter. I’m 53, she’s 47 but tbh, we both look younger. I’m health/fit freak and she’s, well, you know asian look youthful regardless lol. I’m Christian she’s catholic, I figure we’re both on same team at least lol. We contemplate living in philippines one day, she’s from calamba but I’d like a rural environment, like yours, it’s so nice…!

I think it’s unfair that as a foreigner you cannot own land just lease. You can build the house and own it but not the land
