Hello! I'm Wise, a Filipina with a deep love for my country and a passion for sharing its beauty with the world. As a writer, blogger, and videographer, I capture the essence of the Philippines through my eyes, hoping to give foreign visitors a true taste of what makes these islands so special.

From the vibrant streets of Manila to the tranquil beaches of Palawan, my journey is about uncovering the hidden gems and everyday wonders that define the Filipino spirit. My articles and blogs are not just travel guides; they are invitations to explore, to feel, and to fall in love with the Philippines, just as I have.

Through my videos, I strive to bring the sights, sounds, and stories of my homeland to life. Whether it's the local cuisine, the colorful festivals, or the warm smiles of the people, I aim to prepare visitors for an authentic experience.

For those seeking more than just a vacation, the Philippines can be a place of discovery and, perhaps, even love. My goal is to be your guide, not just to the places you'll visit, but to the experiences and connections that await in this beautiful corner of the world. Welcome to the Philippines, through my eyes. Let's explore together!

  • Congrats!, advice….soon as her I94 is available…go get her a SS number and a state ID, you can go back to SS and changer her name later. Get the AOS stuff done before her Medical expires ๐Ÿ™‚ Mine just got her residency card last week. She had aready got her work permit and a job LOL. She was getting too bored at home…can only clean the house so many times, she loves working now.

    • @ NP, get her on your health ins too, for proof on the AOS, we had a tough time getting her on bank accounts without an ID…SS was not enough. The ID expires when her 90 days are done. Get her a bank account with a CC or on yours soon and some utilitys otherwise she will not gain any credit scores. Just passing on things I learned on my own LOL…hope it helps

    • Just right after we got out of the Airport in Washington I was already shivering ๐Ÿ˜‚, and excited to experience a new environment, now I miss the Sun ๐ŸŒž ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Nothing change , I like it wherever we go since I’m with Brandon! โค๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

    • @gdennis310ย  thank you so much! I like the weather it’s not really hard to deal with! everytime we go out It feels like I just open a freezer. ๐Ÿ˜†

  • Excited for the post, can wait for little Brandon, my favourite youtube couple. โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ

  • Congratulations to both of you. My wife and I had the same experience about 9 months ago. If I can offer a suggestion …. don’t spoil her with too much, too soon. It’s easy to do in the excitement of her new surroundings. Slow down, let her adjust to your world. And keep doing some of the same simple things you did in the Philiippines.

  • Congratulations on arriving to America welcome. Canโ€™t wait to see your new adventures. Looks like you have a beautiful home there. I hope we get a tour.

  • Number 1 issue will be that smartphone connection directly to Filipino people back home. Just being honest. Makes assimilation more difficult.

  • As soon as that first plane flight took off I started to cry because my Filipina and I have been waiting for longer than 5 years for her visa to be approved to come Downunder!…..but then came the “mile high” comment ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

    • I couldn’t imagine waiting 5 years for the visa, we got really lucky. Approved in 7 months. Thanks for watching and good luck!

  • It’s cold here Brandon ๐Ÿ˜…. I brought my Asawa here almost 4 years ago, and I really miss the province in Mindanao

  • Are there many snakes in the Philippines? This is the first video that showed a snake ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ hope you 2 have a safe and uneventful trip to ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‘

    • Depends on what part of the Philippines you will be. we have the Philippine Cobra it’s one of the venomous snake ๐Ÿฅฒ just gotta be careful! this one on the video it’s not but it will scare you bcoz it will jump on you๐Ÿ˜….

  • You’re fine. As long as you are healthy. The secret is if you bring them to the US, you have to give them a family of their own, with you.

  • Did you guys do a K1 Visa or a spousal Visa? I noticed you got married in the Philippines. I’m asking because my wife and I got married in the Philippines and was wondering how you did it.

    • โ€‹@brandonandarlene Thanks for the clarity. I was thrown off when it said K1 as I thought you guys were married in the Philippines. Excellent approach. Absolutely no doubt you guys will celebrate silver and golden anniversary. You both made wise choices grasshopper. Congratulations. One piece of advice on children, ensure Arlene immediately obtain her dual citizenship or still be a Philippine citizen when they are born. If Arlene is only a US when they are born, they are not eligible to become Philippine citizen.

  • Anything you do in the Philippines can be undone in America. So why not stay in the Philippines? America will begin to heal when we make adultery, divorce and abortion illegal. I’m content in the Philippines and believe that biblical marriage is best.

    • To young. We have plans on going back permanently in 4 or 5 years. I Don’t want to be the foreigner who runs out of capital. Thanks for watching!

  • Congrats on finally arriving in Seattle stay warm itโ€™s very cold there. To bad Brandon doesnโ€™t live in SoCal lots more Filipino community here plus itโ€™s nice and warm always rarely rains.

  • Awwee ๐Ÿฅน I remembered back in 2012 when I left Philippines to move to the United States and marry my hubby!!! Congratulations guys!! Arleneโ€™s family will surely miss her.

  • oh man..whole family always go when they send off a member.. look at thw bright side ..finally sunny in tacloban..
man you have a clean place..every impressive

  • Congrats on making it to the US! I hope it goes well for you both. There are a number of cultural/social differences that she’ll encounter here (I’m sure you can guess a few), but with time and understanding I think you’ll be fine. Me and my wife are planning on releasing a video in a couple weeks about cultural challenges for Filipinas coming to the US soon on our channel. Thanks for the vlog!

  • Welcome to America Arlene. Moving to another country means you’re prepared for changes and ready to assimilate the culture. Weather is a little harsh if you’re going to North of the US during winter. There might be some adjustments in terms of food as not all states have many choices for Asian Market. I know you’re resilient and would easily adapt to your environment. The most important thing, you’re with your husband. Congratulations to both of you.

    • @, when my wife first came to the US, she was a bit homesick. I found a pinoy community in my area and she made some new friends. Some were from near her hometown and others knew some of her friends. It was so nice seeing her interact. It made her assimilation easier and comfortable. We were happily married for 36 years. Unfortunately, I lost her to Covid 4 years ago on January 2. I miss her dearly. She was my whole world. I wish the best for both of you. Make and enjoy lots of memories.โค๏ธ

  • Hi Arlene and Brandon , happy for both of you!! Welcome to America Arlene โค your kababayan here , been here in Vegas for 20 years and i have a cousin there in Seattle Washington .. I visited them once way back 2012 .I hope i can go see them again in the future and who knows I could meet you guys one day โค

  • Why did you originally go to the Philippines to meet a nice non westernized girl that you can’t meet in the USA and then you put all your faith the girl dosent leave after green card or wont change and yes sometimes it does work out , but its like gambling you will get burnt, and yes i here all these delusional foreigners who have said it won’t happen to me๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Been to TAC airport plenty of times. Congratulations guys. Iโ€™m sure that was a great feeling. Iโ€™ll be making that journey back to the US with my wife sometime this year.

  • As John Wayne said in The Cowboys: “Gentlemen, this is when school reeeaalllly begins.” Best of luck you two from someone who did almost exactly the same thing 20+ years ago. Still happily married to my Filipina wife. We live right here in America. Brandon, you will not be disappointed! Arlene–watch out, he is an Amerikano ๐ŸŽ‰

  • I remember a very similar trip with my wife in 2017, Brandon . (Also So Leyte) Those are tears of joy I have no doubt about that. Youโ€™ll be back . We enjoy your videos . Best of luck stateside . Btw, same industry as you, different company. If we strike I hope I get some time off like that too ๐Ÿ˜…

    Cheers !

  • Brandon, you got a beautiful wife from our country. Take good care of her more than your life. She’s your guide in this rough life.

  • Reminds me of when I went to get my wife 13 years ago. Very emotional. I send her back home each year for 2 months and it’s an emotional departure from me at the airport as well as for her and her family when she leaves to come back. We plan to go back next January to start our house build. My wife and I are both so excited for Arlene. I know the signal in parts of Leyte can be spotty, but we found a very reliable hotspot for her family. She’s able to viber video call them every day. It really helps with her homesickness

    • LOL facts. Although we went downtown on the wheel and it was surprisingly cleaned up. We were expecting it to be much worse. Thanks for watching!

  • Brandon, watch out bro. If your visa status is K1 and you enter USA as married in PH, … grrrr… consult an attorney.

    • His parents live a bit far from my husband’s place, but we went there to celebrate the new year with them and their friends!๐Ÿฅณ

  • A bit of advice, stay away from Filipina groups in the U.S. they are poison! Have a great time together

  • Sorry buddy, should have kept her in Philippines, she will become poisoned and corrupted with the North American women virus, become westernized, cover your ass, seen it happen too many times,,,hey I hope I am wrong, Good luck to you

  • I don’t get it. are they crying because the jet might crash on the way to the USA. and she might get killed. if all get’s well, she will be back.

  • Sorry, I may have missed this in your video, but are you planning on living in the US going forward? K-1 to green card is about two years, and to maintain the green card requires being in the US most of the time.

    • No, we plan on being here 4 to 5 years. Will apply citizenship after 3 years and avoid the 2 year rule with green card. This is one of the main reason why we decided to go this route. Will allow us to travel whenever wherever without issue in the future.

    • @@brandonandarlene The YouTube professional advice givers will always say not to bring your foreign girlfriend to the US, but I have found this not to be true. My Thai wife is doing great here. It took 14 months to get the K-1, then several months after arrival to get her SSN & work permit. She now has a job she likes. I did not know you could apply for citizenship without having a green card first. We are waiting on travel permission (15 months), then green card after two years. We have been told she needs to be here 5 years before being able to apply for citizenship. You are correct, citizenship gives you by far the most foreign living flexibility going forward. Anyway, congrats!

    • everytime we got out of the house I freeze ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I like it haha it’s extra challenge for me ๐Ÿคญ

    • @Arleneshortvideosย  well, we’re 20 minutes south of Vancouver Canada, similar weather to Seattle, rain ๐Ÿคฎ and gray winters. Been fairly mild this year. Summer is awesome and the seasonal changes I imagine will be an bit dramatic for you, in a good way during spring. Dont let western culture affect you, its kinda in sad state of debauchery for now, but change may be coming soon. Hopefully you guys go back soon, beautiful home you guys have!

  • Sorry to say it friend but you are a fool! You WILL be very sorry and eventually your heart destroyed by bringing a Filipina to the U.S. to live! ONLY visit there! NEVER let her get her U.S. citizenship! They will divorce you SO fast like hot knife through butter!

  • Why in the world anyone would want to move to America in these times is beyond me…. sorry, I think this is a huge mistake. You live in a MUCH better part of the world.

    • I agree, but we are young and have some stuff we need to do before we move permanently to the Philippines.

  • Donโ€™t loose yourself in the west, Remember what you have and what you are working for a comfortable home in the Philippines ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

  • ๐Ÿ˜‚ We have one of those little duel cab Suzukis they are great very handy/versatile little cars ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • You better get her pregnant and have a baby or there’s about a 85 percent chance she will leave you

  • Arlene, please donโ€™t take comments from rude people personally. I think Brandon was lucky enough to find one of the best women the Philippines had to offer. I think the two of you are a great couple and I wish you both nothing but joy and happiness. Congratulations to you both! โค

  • Good luck! Not to be that guy but this is probably the best way to see if the fairytale is real or just a mirage.

  • Good luck guys in your happy journey!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘
Brandon saw how family say goodbye at the airport! Filipino culture ๐Ÿ˜Š
    Stay safe guys!

  • Happy for you both for your next journey, more vlogs .. Brandon and Arlene . Arlene your so lucky with your husband and brandon too. God bless ur journey.

  • Great video, thank you. I spent almost 7 hours sitting in the airport in Tacloban because of a slight miscalculation by my Filipina on her return flight to Kuwait. What a big beautiful family Arlene has, both of you are truly blessed. I’m not sure how long your stay will be, but if you’re here in the beginning of April there is a huge Filipino festival in Tampa called PHILFEST 2025 ( this is the 29th year put on by the Philippine cultural foundation ). thousands of Filipinos from all over attend, would love to see you two here.
