Hello! I'm Wise, a Filipina with a deep love for my country and a passion for sharing its beauty with the world. As a writer, blogger, and videographer, I capture the essence of the Philippines through my eyes, hoping to give foreign visitors a true taste of what makes these islands so special.

From the vibrant streets of Manila to the tranquil beaches of Palawan, my journey is about uncovering the hidden gems and everyday wonders that define the Filipino spirit. My articles and blogs are not just travel guides; they are invitations to explore, to feel, and to fall in love with the Philippines, just as I have.

Through my videos, I strive to bring the sights, sounds, and stories of my homeland to life. Whether it's the local cuisine, the colorful festivals, or the warm smiles of the people, I aim to prepare visitors for an authentic experience.

For those seeking more than just a vacation, the Philippines can be a place of discovery and, perhaps, even love. My goal is to be your guide, not just to the places you'll visit, but to the experiences and connections that await in this beautiful corner of the world. Welcome to the Philippines, through my eyes. Let's explore together!

  • Nice videoโ€ฆ. So whatโ€™s your income stream as youโ€™re too young for Social Securityโ€ฆ.

  • You’re mostly right. I’ve been married to my asawa for 23 yrs. I’ve watched many of the girls she met here at home..Richland WA. Almost all from Duma. All hauled ass as soon as they got here. J/S. Your smart stay there.

  • Hopefully western virus doesn’t infect the Philippines.
You’re right about your assessment of western women. Feminist, ironically, ruined how wonderful and valuable women really are.

  • I heard wife, and that MEHHHH. WHO NEEDS ONE OF THEM, AH YES, INSECURE PEOPLE BRAINWASHED BY RELIGION

  • I agree with pretty much everything you say. Women here are no longer women they want to be men when it’s convenient they want to be women. Marriages is never perfect but it is too easy to just walk away here that’s why I’m looking there as well

  • Just turned 75 in the US – married twice & been “HAPPILY DIVORCED” since 1989 (!) the last time. Never believed the 3rd time would be the charm ! — All the good ones are taken is my view. — The laws really are against men in the US – the system is not fair for them. Fewer men now are willing to do that these days ! — Excellent choice you were able to make that wasn’t available to me when I was your age. No internet or online work existed ? Was impossible to make decent $ overseas for the most part. ”’Now”’ all these digital nomads exist and startup business ventures young people are doing while some teach in schools. –?– Opportunities people my age never had. Wise choices given the inflation and ridiculous cost of living anywhere in the US !!! Misery awaits most of the new immigrants coming into the US – as there’s no longer an American dream for very many people. = 2 jobs for many & still can’t even afford rent ! Homelessness is exploding everywhere in the country….. Or a treadmill like work life just to survive ?

  • You are both lucky ๐Ÿ˜Š my congratulations โค life is hard wherever you go, just enjoy life and continue to love each other ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Brandon, you hit the jackpot with Arlene. She is friendly, family oriented, beautiful and smart. You can see it as you are talking and I have noticed it in other videos from you two that she is very thoughtful. She listens to what you are saying and processes it and my guess is then she will give you her opinion. And yes, even though you are the man and I think Arlene is the type to allow the man to lead her household, she seems like she is definitely part of the decision making process for your family. My opinion is that you got a great one! I think the other part of that is that you respect her as your wife as well and it shows.

I look forward to many more videos. ๐Ÿ˜Šโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

  • Wow good to hear, Brandon โ˜บ๏ธ…let God be the center of your marriage,so that your relationship will last forever โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ…

  • wow like your video glad you like the culture of the Philippines and your wife is so beautiful simple filipina

  • Same, broโ€ฆ. Covid response was the nail in the coffin for me. Been living in southern Leyte since 2023

  • ha! when I was 28 I drove a concrete truck and worked with a bunch of older guys. Most were divorced or unhappy with marriage. Guys would work overtime just to avoid their wife. I’m 41, so I can relate you in many ways. I hope to make a move in 2-3 years, the biggest challenge is finding a way to make money overseas. stay well my friend.

  • I’ll put it bluntly, women in the West use sex to their advantage. Also, who’s wants to marry a women who complains a lot. You go to the Philippines and they have less yet don’t complain nearly as much. The entitled attitude (both men and women you see in the USA) hardly exists in the Philippines.

  • Brandon L agree 100%.
Men don’t have a chance in the US.
I’m 61 and looking for a wife in the Philippines.
Haven’t touched the garbage here for a decade.
    God Bless

  • Hello Brandon, great video as usual!!! Off topic question for you. The house you and Arlene built โ€ฆ. Did you use a local builder or contractor? Iโ€™m in the beginning stages of planning one myself. Thanks.

  • I dated a divorced Chinese woman with two kids from two different fathers here in America – She treated me like CRAP – She was just looking for a guy with money – She would never tell my why she can not get a job in America – She got very nasty when I said NO – I wasted 3 years with her – It was a good learning lesson

  • Filipino women are more feminine, loving, kind, understanding, and great lovers!!
They compliment a relationship and add value to a man’s life.

  • Great channel.

37 yo myself, swedish, live in manila now with my gf, perfect relationship after numerous of chaotic ones with swedish women since the age of.. well 13 really.

    5 years going strong.

Its crazy how many young white guys coming here now, not only grandpas no more haha!

  • Was married to an Australian feminist 13 years when I was young, worst 13 years of my life, finally booted her and now 14 years into second marriage to my Filipina queen..best 14 years of my life โค, no comparison.. retiring to Philippines in a few years..you made the right decision ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  • In America marriage is often a prison and divorce court only makes many men a slave. America will begin to heal when we make adultery, divorce and abortion illegal.
My reason for being in the Philippines is she’s beautiful, loving and kind.โค

  • agree with everything you said – but nobody is using Christian filipina man, you are clearly shilling for it like every small time PH youtuber – they have already been exposed.

  • My wife and I were Silicon Valley high tech workers and are now retired. Both of us encouraged each other to pursue career advancement. Many decades ago a man able to support his family. Wife managed all the household chores. and children. Fast forward women have college degrees, good income and more financially independent from their husband income . In short wife has an equal voice of decisions. This is what men in the west are having difficulty of coping the new reality.

  • Great top 5 , thank you. I must say I love Leyte so much because it isn’t very touristy , I was in Hinunangan/Hinundayan areas in May and June and just absolutely fell in love with the area. I am so grateful to have a wonderful Filipina to call my own as well.

  • Brandon I admire your outlook and beliefs about marriage, mostly Americans doesnโ€™t even know the words commitment towards marriage..thatโ€™s very sad . I wish you both a good life and Good luck to your journey as husband and wife . Looking forward more of your blogs to come โค

  • As a 44yo American male, twice divorced, I can relate to what you’ve said here. It is becoming more common in the west now for women to admit that there’s little to no benefit for a man to get married anymore. I definitely have no interest in being married again, in this environment. I’ve begun exploring the idea of retiring in a place like the Philippines for obvious reasons like a lower cost of living and a more desirable climate, but I also think it would be great to find love from a lady that has traditional values. Allow me to provide and protect. You exude your God-given femininity. That’s the kind of household I was raised in, and that’s what I want in a relationship. It’s almost impossible to find this in America now, so moving to a place like the Philippines in retirement seems to make the most sense for me.

  • Same here. I have never been married and have no babies yet or any debt. I refuse to settle for a woman who is not in the same situation as me.

  • See you soon ;o) –
Isnยดt it funny, that the feminist woman arenยดt feminin at all?
I had my part with western woman – itยดs enough.

  • I agree 100%! I spent 15 years in Seattle trying to date middle aged women that wanted the 6โ€™s-6 pack abs, 6 figure salary and a 6โ€ anoh- while all they brought to the table was emotional baggage, spanx and horrific feminism. Sorry, I was just in Tacloban a few days ago- next time Iโ€™ll look you up! Keep living the dream with your gwapa nga babaye!!๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  • Great points. I completely agree. Can’t wait to meet my Filipina who I’ve found online and been in LDR with for a year now. Wishing you best from Europe

  • Despite the plusses, I’d find it hard to live in that society. The stand-out negative to me is that animal cruelty is considered normal. Cockfighting was banned in parts of Europe over 150 years ago, but seems like a national sport in the Philippines. There are roosters tied up in poor conditions everywhere. There are even dogs tied up in the sun all over the place. It’s the only country where I’ve seen mangy dogs on the street and nobody does anything about it. For supposed Christians, the behaviour of Filipinos towards animals is pretty disgusting. (I saw some happy-looking dogs on one of your other videos, so I’m assuming none of this applies to Arlene. It was disconcerting when I was just visiting, so I’d hate to live there and be surrounded by it.)

  • Lifeโ€™s better with a Filipina. Youโ€™re a smart lad, youโ€™re doing it right. Your kids will have an awesome mom and your wife will be better than most guys. The rest of your life will be better than most guys. Congratulations to you both.

  • I’m so happy for you guys. You definitely made the right choice avoiding marriage in the west. I unfortunately thought I would be an exception to the divorce statistic but learned that the hard way.

But now I met a beautiful filipina over a year ago and we are engaged to marry. I’ve never been happier.
