He doesn’t want to talk about how long he’s been there, probably because he’s over stayed his Visa, and immigration will want him to pay for that over stay, with interest, which he can’t afford. The U.S. Embassy is where he needs to go, they can give him a ticket back to the U.S., which he will have to reimburse them for later.
There is a HUGE difference between being accused of something that a person did apposed to something they didn’t. It’s even worse being accused of something that a person didn’t do.
