The intros are very professional looking. I remember that bird callers, when we would go to White beach off Subic bay. thank you for the glance into their world. I shared this with friends and co-workers, to show some of the things I experienced from my time in the Corps.
Do you have a webpage for your motor bike rentals. You could make him an add space on your website for private sessions and he could take all of the profits
Joseph’s hut is put together very well. I can tell it’s more sturdy from here. Don’t destroy the bamboo if you do open it, just loosen the top binding from it’s glue. Would be a shame to smash artwork like that.
I wonder if any of those Filipinos trapped within a cycle of poverty and living in the barangays of Cebu City or Manila would ever swap city life for the one lived by the rural Aeta if they were ever given the choice? I’d really like to believe that the Aeta’s are happier than their equally impoverished city dwelling cousins but are they really? What hidden social problems exist and effect the Aeta tribal communities? It’s the 21st century but I’ll bet there’s plenty of racism towards the ‘taga-bundok’. The Native American and the Australian Aboriginal communities have their own societal problems so I doubt that the Aeta’s are any different in that respect. I’ve really enjoyed this series of videos, do hope there’s more to come.
Move over Lara Croft, there’s a new girl exploring the jungle. Ai does look all ‘lethal weapon’ armed with quiver, bow and arrows but can she aim straight? A test of nerve and skill is needed, maybe Derek and Jay could balance coconuts on their heads and we can judge the results for ourselves.😟🎯😟🎯Then Joseph could show us what the Aeta use as emergency field dressings if Ai’s aim is a little wayward. 🤕🤕
Joseph and his wife literally live off the grid in tune and with Nature as his being part of the Aeta tribe has many great stories along with their history is so special to the Philippines. You got such a rare opportunity to meet with Joseph and Fred and again made such an impact on them and us. Thanks Derek
thank you so much for sharing your experience throughout the different Philippine communities. Where would I look to find more information on J.E.S.T Once again thank you for sharing.
You’re very fortunate to spend time with such beautiful people. I appreciate your channel as it’s so different from others. You give us a glimpse into regular filipino life.
Thank you, James. I WAS very fortunate. I went to Mt, Pinatobu for further my curiosity. The Aeta’s there are much more traditional and didn’t allow me to film so sadly, I am not able to share that experience on camera

Thank you for sharing my video. If it wasn’t for Jay, the Marine, I wouldn’t have done this
