These kids are so kind and smart it’s a shame they were bullied unfortunately anywhere you go you always face some type of bullying I don’t care where you’re at considering how poor they are and how they are making so much of themself goes to show what remarkable human beings they are I think that kid could end up being the next president of the Philippines or maybe the girl she could also become the next president I wish them both the most in life God bless them both Dennis😊😊
Living with my grandparents gave me a humble childhood. The only people that were judgemental were my cousins. They had monetary wealth but i had the love of my grandparents, which was more than my cousins had. Being isolated from the family made me more spiritual, i was closer to nature while my cousins lived in the city. I wouldn’t change a thing.
You are blessed. Similarly, I was cared by relatives. But I live a content life now as I am able to live life the way I want whereas they are obligated to finish a project, a contract, pay a mortgage, etc

I need to see players who are benched to step up to the plate then I know we are headed to the right direction. I checked to see where you guys are at. My family is around Manila, you guys are to the south. I’ll keep you in mind if I make it over that way.

I fill the families, the children of the parents. Must fill obligated to help there family members. Living poor and helping each others out with money to live on. Each person has struggled to eat and just to have a roof over there heads. From someone else.
@eddydavis9548 I think this is common in their culture or at least I’ve seen it quite a few times. The parents help the oldest through school then in turn they help the younger siblings. I am sure when Gericho graduates and tries to pay back his sister this money along with some of his will probably be used to help his younger sister through college if that’s the path she chooses. I guess its like Americans paying it forward but something tells me they have been doing it alot longer over there.

Do you know what the requirements are to set up a non profit designed to help those in need in the Philippines? The legal stuff on the Philippines side? I have worked for a non profit in the US several years ago and have a few contacts to guide me in what to do for the legal side here in the US. I plan on being in the Philippines in about 6 months. Already looking into a residents visa.

From our perspective yes. From their’s, it’s an investment for someone within the family to break the cycle
