  • Ni hau ma…. I know, I spell it phonetically.
    My Chinese is very limited.

My Wife know two Chinese languages and about ~12 dialect of spoken language in the Philippines.

  • Here supporting Derek!!! Very cool prospective with the helmet cam – I would like to see that more often. 😎

  • Calvin’s (sunshine shoulders) town as it looks really nice town of 132,600 people as it’s only 3 hours to Lapu-lapu and as you know me Bro I Love these kinds of Exploratory rides as it looks like you and Ai are having a Great time and when you pointed out the Pit Bull it reminded me of my last dog Buster Brown that was 100% and Smartest and Loyal dog i ever had. Gotta call / text you and hoping for a “Live” soon .. Thanks Bro as you inspire me and so Happy to see you on Paul’s & Calvin’s channel. I Love this video as you made it another place i now want to check out.! Your a Great PI Ambassador

  • Wow….best tour of San Carlos by any of the vloggers……thk u. It seems to be as clean as Ilo Ilo…….they now are at the top of my list, thks

  • Some part of manilla where the poor people live, it is clean. It was supprice, but they r proud how clean they area is. I do not remember the place, but yeah. It was suprising to see. I am not sure if city or people wash the streets, but yeah.

  • It’s a nice change of pace when we remember to slow down and enjoy the world around us. 😊
    🙏Blessings Brother🙏

  • San Carlos City is a “hidden gem” and the place i call home. We are an environmental award winning small city with great political leadership and a passion for a clean future for our children. The cost of living is also very reasonable with an emphasis on providing housing and aid for those less fortunate fellow citizens.

  • It looks clean but i dont feel like running into Calvin at Center Mall he is always out there dry begging

  • Wow, lovely area, and yes definitely so tidy too, I’m glad you found that area on the coast and those replica buildings, it was very interesting to see, thank you, I enjoyed your tour of the areas. 😊👏

  • Sure is a nice, clean city Derek – there are some really nice buildings there. Thanks for the lovely trip – we’d never see these places if not for you and Ai.♥

  • Good looking city. Say, just saw you with Old Dog and I have seen how you are helping Regular Guy get up on two wheels.

Can you answer me this: Suppose an American expat shows up with a driver’s license that is not valid, because it has been taken by his home state. What can he do?

    • Technically… your license no good here either.

Realistically, the Philippines will have no idea of the specifics back home. As long as your license doesn’t have an past expiration date.

I am NOT advising you one way or the other

  • CITY CLEANING CREW…
All cities should have the best cleaning crew in THE TOURIST AREAS. A tourist ONLY BRINGS $ IN, they take very little of the city resources. Tourists want to come to the city IF IS CLEAN.

  • were you going to a fire, that was the fastest moto blog i have ever seen. guess you didn’t want for us to see much..

    • Oh John… please be patient. I am starting an entire new channel dedicated to moto and drone vlog. Please bear with me while I am organizing my 4k contents

  • Sorry bud, but oriental means east, and occidental means west. Even though Negros isn’t totally split that way.

  • I remember going there in the 90s. I think there was just one traffic light for the whole city and there were not many people around. There were no malls around and the biggest industry there was a sugar milling company. It also gets very dark in the evening. If you like peace and quiet, that’s the perfect place….I hope.

  • Hi Derek and Ai. It looks like an extensive cleanup program was done in the past and the local people are taking some pride and making an effort to keep it clean. Impressive!

  • You know I enjoy your realness and I message you often. Spending time in the Philippines and marrying someone in the Philippines I don’t always want to think about what you are making waves about the squatters and the homeless. When you bring attention to that you make the Philippines a lesser of a country and make the people feel like that is all the country has. Focus on the beauty and the good things within the country. You have been giving the country a lot of back handed slaps do to your comments about the countries business practices. Sometimes you have to make lemonade out of sour lemons. You do a lot of good but I’m starting to worry about the negative view you show about the Philippines. Your buddy Scotty is a tool. He does videos about prostitutes and seems slimy and I thought I’d like his videos but I don’t. Americans going to the Philippines should appreciate the culture just as we wish people who visit or come to live here in the states. Please I really appreciate what you do but go back to focusing on your focus of being in the Philippines. We know there is poverty we know there are homeless and people hungry. We know street foods are not in temperature and our stomachs get destroyed if we eat the foods. But it is life of the Filipino people. Eat it or don’t. Buy a bike or don’t. When I in the past make comments about the over population of dogs and cats on the streets and the smells in the air I’ve offended people in the Philippines. And people talk shit about the United States but their are still people dying to get here just as people are wanting to get to the Philippines. Remember that Filipino people watch your content. My wife does.
