  • Sir, I salute you, good luck to you both on your next journey in life. Salamat and Mahuhay. Phil from Washington State.

  • Great job my friend 👏👏 so are you still doing YouTube. Is your channel just going to transfer to another name. I hope I get to see you and your girlfriend again you’re both very nice and I enjoy all your videos thank you for everything God bless you both always Dennis 🙏😀

  • Brother going to miss yalls videos of philippines . y’all did an outstanding job. I will continue to follow your journey. your good people, and I will always be in your corner. stay safe and may God stand with you on your new journey. Phil from Oklahoma

    • Yes. But I decided not to upload as they are members of Gel’s community. The bigger mission is for Gel to have her channel and income

  • Still grateful to have met you both at your residence ( and touching The Holy Bike of Scotty 😅)

  • I am grateful that we gave Bernadetta fresh water. Best of luck on your journey ! 👍❤️🇨🇦

  • I was feeling heartbroken until I found out you’re not leaving us – I am so looking forward to the next adventures Derek & Ai. Love you guys! ♥🍒🍓💐🌷🌹🌸🌺

  • U truly are a great man amongst men and even though u may no longer be here ur impact will continually be felt far beyond measure…safe travels my friend 🙏🏾

….and in the immortal words of Heavy D: 🎶 i got nuttn’ but love for u baby 🎶 😅

  • You are a really good guy Derek. I hope our paths cross one day. I am also deeply committed to helping people.

    • Be careful doing so. We had countless people calling us requesting to be on our channel with less than honest intentions. The point is, when someone catches wind you are helping, you become a target. If you don’t submit, the potential for retaliation is high

  • Derek, was not expecting this, is Ai going with you or is she taking over the motorcycle business, sorry to see you leave the Philippines, hope you’re next adventure leaves you satisficed

    • I can NEVER abandon those who show that much love and loyalty to me. Jun had been super efficient in running the bike rental

  • I’m so sorry to see you leave the Philippines. You can be proud of the work you’ve done and the lives that are better for it. Good luck with your future endeavours!

  • A good three year in the PH. I think the last part of the video may give us an idea of where he will be next. We shall see.

    • @qadventures makes total sense. I have lived there a few times for three months at a time in the early 2000s. My ex wife is from there. You will love it there (I am not sure how much time you have spent there) and there are many in need of help. Look forward to your future adventures.

    • I was born here, Wesna. The entire maternal side still lives here. I have my eyes on the children burned with deformities due to Agent Orange

    • Hi Derek and Ai,

First good luck and I will be watching and excited for your next chapter. Two steps forward and one step back is phenomenal progress in the Philippines. 😁😂🤣

You have done incredible work and in your little corner of the world where so many need help, you gave them the opportunity to improve their lives. You changed people’s lives there. I know those you helped won’t forget what you have done for them. I also think that you are not finished with the Philippines and the Philippines is not finished with you. It has been a pleasure to go along with you on your journey. I am excited to see what’s to come.

Good luck and thank you! 👍😁😢🤞❤️☝️

    • Good looking out. I don’t indulge in fights with bums. ESPECIALLY people who chooses a name like “sick grandpa”. They mind really has to be not right to come to a name like that

  • No information on your new objectives? Does this mean you will keep making more videos on this channel or was that a click-bait title?

  • odd timing now you cant freely film due to new laws in the Philippines and all that time you only helped gel and precious by raising awareness and nothing else hmm some people are so near sighted

    • Yeah. I always stated my failure rate is extremely high. But I give chances and don’t want to shame people by shining a bright light on the guests that fails

  • Sad to say I’m a hopeless idealist. I feel your pain. Sad to see you leave. . . I know so many more could use your caring and kindness. Thank you for sharing your stories, and for letting us into the lives of some beautiful people. Good luck in your new journey, and I hope you continue with your passions. . . just in another place.

    • @erronyoshioka8800 no pain… you will see in my next few videos is that I have access to wealth and resources. Like I said in the video, my purpose in the Philippines is to find those worthy to hand up to. But now, I carry on with my resources and Jun (my staff) will be the only one benefiting in our international expansion

    • Wow, John!!! I feel so accomplished that I got you out of the “shadows” with this video😅

Thank you, so very much, for all the “silent” support!!!

  • You’ll be back, Derek, I feel it. Sometimes, circumstances require that a change is needed. I’ve been sensing lately that you wanted to get out and start over somewhere else. Good luck with your new adventures.😪🏝🇵🇭

  • God Bless You Derek, I’ve always kept up with your channel and yes you have done a lot… because of people like you and Mike is why I ventured deeper into the Philippines way of life and saw first hand last year… Looking forward to your next chapter 🙏 God Bless And A HUI HOU 🤙😎🤙 PS where am I gonna rent a reliable scooter from now 🤣🤣🤣

    • Our business is still there. Jun had been running the show and will continue to run the show since March. The ecosystem still in full function

    • I GAVE them a job (without experience). I hired based on my observation on trainability. If you divide the base salary of 15,000 per month by 22 working day average, you get 681.82 per day wage. Much higher than cebu minimum wage. Yet, stealing 500 pesos (less than a day’s wage) is THAT MUCH more important to them

  • I’m glad I caught this video/channel that popped up in front of me this evening. Good luck on the remainder of your journey.

  • This must of been a hard decision, you have done lots of good and showed everyone what a good hearted person can do. We will stay in touch bro

    • Not hard at all, my friend. You will see in my upcoming videos what resources I have in Vietnam. Philippines was a way for me to give back and pay forward by recruiting

  • You posted a video of your gf in panties and bra, and her panties are a thong, not to mention you can basically see everything. She is just another one of your victims. You tried to use money to lure poor women into having sex with you. Dirty man!

    • Coming up, my friend. In the 3rd vid from now. Our businesses are still in full operations there. So please continue to send us clients, Scotty. Look me up if you decide to come to Vietnam. I have stuff you would LOVE

    • No shit??? Yeah. Hit me up. Got good shit here. Born here and all my maternal relatives still here so access. HCMC though

  • Guys I have lived in the DREADFUL Philippines, the worst country and people in Asia, AVOID these Filipinos like the Plaque.

  • BE VERY PROUD OF WHAT YOU ACHIVED,YOU MADE A BETTER LIFE FOR THESE IN NEED. FUTURE HAPPENESS TO YOU..

    • Oh yes. I forgot to mention him in the video. Another Vet had already filed his paperwork and even volunteered his own $500 so victor can open a usd bank account. But there are some obstacles because Victor lost some documents like his social security card. He MUST go to Manila to get his documents replaced at the embassy. I calculated that he needs at least a month of staying in manila to get his stuff accomplished that we don’t have funds for

  • Now im curious- dosnt say your leaving the Philippines but are you? Im guessing Thailand /Camobida

  • Damm Derek. I was hoping to meet you in person . Been watching since 2023 been here in cebu for a year built a house . New wife . Retired .really enjoyed your videos and insight . Hope you nothing but the best kayo !! Amping !!

    • You’ve been there for a year? Why haven’t we met? I could’ve came out to document your build. Bring your wife to Vietnam. We connect

    • @qadventures man, you know how things are . 4 month build 3 boys . Store animals to take care of. Time flies fast derek. I havent had the time to even catch up to your channel!. I see it come across my feed this morning in facebook. .why the change ?

    • I still feel like you will be back. You just git the travel bug . Need to get out. Vietnam is beautiful .

  • I started watching you in 2023 and wow… what a heartfelt ride it has been. Seeing your vids gave me a glimpse into the hearts of gold in the Philippines and was a motivation for me pulling the trigger and taking a chance at living in the Philippines last year in 2024. Once again, what a ride it has been. Wishing you peace as you close this chapter and wishing you prosperity as you embark on your next one. Godspeed.

  • All the very best for the future Derek. I look forward to your next adventures. I trust Ai will be with you. God Bless

  • Big up for what you and Ai accomplished for these years! You gave your heart to the Philippines.❤
All the best for your future adventures!❤

  • Well done!! The people here need to beome fishermen, which you did. Handing them the fish perpetuates the horrific cycle. Good luck!

  • You do the right thing. We also plan to leave the Philippines after 14 years. My Kids need a good education and good salary in a couple of Years. Europe is our next destination. Wish you all the best ❤

  • Very unexpected but glad you’re doing your thing. Is Ai coming with you or is she taking over the bike rental business? Good luck, I am confident you’ll succeed in anything you do. Take care, Jonathan and Perla from Duarte, CA

    • Duarte?!?!? My neighbors!!! Yes. Ai is always with me. I reciprocate the loyalty she had shown me. Jun and Jason had been running the show and they are doing great

  • You still are the most kind and generous man I’ve ever seen! Many times watching how you built people up and showed them how to be self reliant, it made me cry with joy. YOUR THE MOST SPECIAL PERSIN ON YOUTUBE!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    • I appreciate that so much. I had been mean in my career and I had been kind. Wisdom tells me I sleep better at night being kind. 😁

  • Saw your reply to Scotty about the rentals and future travel plans. Good luck in HCMC and VN. Watched countless videos about Da Nang, Dalat, and Nha Trang, but not much about HCMC. It reminds me of Manila, but even more crowded.
Best wishes and thank you for your time.

  • Sorry to see you leave Derek and Ai. I wish you the best in the future. Thanks for getting me to come to the Philippines.
