I tried to find a expansion tank but they are very expensive in Bantayan island. A pressure tank is also expensive around 400 usd. Not worth it personally.
@MrSkoobytime you can build an expansion tank easy enough. Short piece of 4″ PVC which a cap on each end. Drill in the caps. Lower one taps into water pressure. Top cap drill in a Schrader valve (valve on your car’s rims that airs up the tire). You may or may not need to add a bit of air pressure to the tank to eliminate the hydraulic hammering (pulsing) in the line. Super easy, super cheap. Hope that made sense.👍
@@goatman3828solution is an “air Hammer Arrestor” by a small chamber to alleviate the on / off surging of the pipes as it will eventually cause so much stress on his piping that they will break or cause a leak.

No idea, what is the price for city water there, but when I saw the amount of rain fall, it could be next project – rain water tank – very common in EU. Perfect for toilet, watering plants and with small filter also for washing machine. Of course could be drink water too, but necessary filters are way more expansive.

You can add a small pressure tank after the pump to even out the pulsing. It’ll also increase the reserve capacity by the size of the tank you get.
