I think that’s a very good strategy to not pay to engage with an interview. But in general a collaboration with other vloggers, it’s not about payments. It’s more about gaining popularity or be noticed. With collaborations one can attract a good audience as both have the same kind of content. Or one can attract a whole new can of internet trolls.
I’m looking forward with the collab with Philippine Family Life With Leah ( @philippinefamilylifewithle2673 ).

To bad for Jessa though, to hear about the retreat of a sponsorship as being part of a small group where one person broke the trust of this sponsor. I wish the sponsor would have been more thoughtful towards those who did appreciate the sponsor without abusing his kindness. But then again, we don’t know if there is more to that having to decide to pull back entirely.
