Derek, Iβm so glad that you are there for this young lady. I wish so much I could be there with you helping her out. My dream is to go to the Philippines one day, hopefully sooner than later. Maybe one day Iβll get to meet you Derek in person and all those wonderful people of the Philippines. Derek you are an amazing person, you are on a special mission. To RaiRai, please be strong. My heart goes out to you, I believe in you, stay good, please. I will be waiting for the follow up video. RaiRai, you got this, you can do it.
β@Q AdventuresDerek, the only thing holding me back from going is that I have social anxiety disorder. It makes it hard for me to get things done. Everyday I say to my self some how I will make my dream come true, some how. I just need a little help getting my passport, hopefully in the process of getting it, it wonβt trigger a episode of depression. Iβll keep in touch with you Derek through YouTube, Iβm building up the courage for getting my passport.
Derek, I should explain a little better my situation. I only get triggered by people that I see as authority figures. For example, doctors, teachers, ambulance drivers, judges, police officers military people, air plane pilots, the people at the d.m.v., even psychologist and so on. I never know when it could happen, sometimes I fly through it like nothing. I just spoke to my BF and asked him to help and to accompany me through the process of getting my passport, he said he would help. Dreams can come true if your just willing to put in the effort. Thank you Derek.
I hope this sweet young lady achieves her goals and can enjoy the best things life has to offer. You are on your way to independence through education, stand firm and never let the pressure of life get you down.
Iβve had plenty subscribers in the psycho therapy profession that have visited. I am cooking up something. No clear path yet, but resources are there. Just need to see how the puzzle fits
@Q Adventures Iβve seen all your Vlogs and wondered why you deleted one I know of. I thought you where going to do a follow up on it. I know now why you didnβt.
Hi BUDHA Dπ. Cute π₯° young lady & nice Lola π. Donβt eat my twin brother πFatti!! LOL π. Love β€οΈ the Mountain province lifeπ. Interesting and sad π story she tells us. Strong willed young lady. Bless π her soulπΈπΊπΌ. Wish I was there to comfort her broπThanks for sharing brother BUDHA DππBlessings ππΌπΈπΊ
I can certainly relate to whatβs sheβs feeling. That sense of obligation and having to pull this weight. Itβs self-imposed, but still itβs very real, and until you can satisfy the requirements, i.e. make everyone in your family happy, at least give them all they need to step on, and help them make those few steps forward. We will never be happy or satisfied with ourselves.
Sheβs an angel, and probably wonβt be happy for a long time, thereβs alot that has to happen before that is even a possibility. My prayers are with her. Thanks for sharing, and being respectful of her space, and mature enough to know when to limit it. Because once that emotional rollercoaster starts going, it really is an overwhelming experience. It happens with me.
Iβm glad you were able to re-post this young ladyβs story. I saw the original and thereβs not much difference. These people are so resilient but at the same time are going through a lot. I hope that weβll see her again sometime soon.π€ποΈ
So glad it worked out to be able to repost this, I think she has an important story to tell that is often overlooked or brushed under the carpet. Plus she has a great personality with her little jokes. Itβs a shame that so many people seem to get taken advantage of when they just want to earn some extra money for school even though labor prices are already so low there. I wonder if we could do some kind of reputable job board or something so students could locate honest companies near where they go to school that would hire them. Anyway I hope you do a follow-up with Rai Rai and I wish her the best.
sad situation, there are so many young girls like that in the Philippines, all they ask is to be able to get a good education and get into a decent job, i hate when people take advantage of them, they should be better protected
Itβs hard for me to finish watching this vlog. π’π’π’π’π’π’π’π’
Brought tears in my eyes. I am sad, sheβs sad and everybodyβs sad. π’π’π’
I watched the original and felt so bad for this young lady. I felt her pain and know where she is coming from. Rai Rai is definitely someone that deserves to be helped and guided. She has a beautiful soul and I really believe she can be successful in whatever she chooses to do if she remains level headed and keeps moving forward rather than dwell on the negatives in her past. My heart breaks for this young lady. God bless her and you also, Derek. You are a true Champion! Jim π
Derek my man have i not seen this before? I am confused here or just have a major βDeja Vuβ π

@juliolausell4399 itβs a very attainable dream, Julio. Extremely affordable. It comes down the issue of time. Can you find time to come

Very common for elder born in Asia and Latin America

Yes. Very little editing but made a big difference. Just edit out the very end where it made me turn off my camera
She was waiting for Derek to stop talking and was more than ready when he said βLetβs goβ
Iβll make a 30 minute silent video specifically for you on the next round
@Q Adventures LMAO
@Q Adventures it was a good video. I thought her grandmotherβs house was better than many that I have seen. She is a very cute girl too.
Mate, you should be a social worker youβre good at it π
I should. But that very word βworkerβ shut it down instantly
he was a salesman so has the chatter to flatter peopleπ
