do not use foam sealant from the can on the a/c please. you will need to maintain and clean the unit every 6 months and it will need to be removed to do that. i often use normal styrofoam from packaging and cut it to fit and small trip tacked on for a finish look. cheap glue or even velcro self sticking will for the trim will work.
Very cool to see the update. Legend has it that Derek was spotted doing some work to install the AC unit. Well done Derek and all the folks that made it possible!!!!
The aircon needs to be secured to the wall or something. Right now someone can take it back out from the back and get into her house or steal the aircon

You MUST use eye protection when using a grinder.
As a builder in the uk I would put a wooden frame around the air con unit, (just an idea).
