  • Whiy you described a white guy maybe she is open to a foreigner that is not white? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ smart young girl, I pray she takes her time with men and marriage and grow more into a woman.

    • It’s random question, I promise. Plus, this is not a dating show, I just simply want to understand her mindset and moved on real quick

    • ‘White guy’ is a pretty universal term for ‘Westerner’. Nothing more. It could mean a Korean, a Brazilian, etc. Also common is ‘American’ as a term for Westerner also. These terms are not meant in a discriminatory way. And do not necessarily have any racial bias. Just like here in America the word ‘Mexican’ often denotes any Latin American (including Brazilian) in a general way. We fully know that there are many, many different countries there. It is just a blanket generalization of people frome ‘there’ and not ‘here’.

    • I disagree when you say blonde hair and blue eyes. For example, it is clear who is being described. But it’s ok, but let’s be real about it. In most asain countries, unfortunately, there is a history that the whiter you skin is you are more beautiful, like a status quote. Women many times purchase skin whiter products. Also, many women have been taught from a young age that the white skin foreigner is attractive. But times are slowly changing, and many of the asain people are changing also to understand skin color doesn’t matter at all. I have been living in the Philippines for one year now, learning a lot about the history and culture. I enjoyed the video.

  • @Q Adventures Great we vlog Derek and for Smiley she has a great sense of humor, fun loving and great personality.
Am sure she will have her dream’s.๐Ÿ˜…

  • She has obviously given a lot of thought to her future. I only hope that her dreams will become a reality. ๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  • A very large personality and sense of humor on that small person. That was also quite the reveal about no babies coming your way lol.

  • Remember when I warned you about helping the low functioning English sociopath that lived on the street? I was right about him. You really should listen to me when I strongly urge you to stop dealing with minors here. Eventually, you will get entangled with either a young Filipina sociopath or a family of grifters, and you will end up in hot water.

  • Great video Derek, a person doesnโ€™t realize how good have it made until seeing other people living conditions
Only thing money canโ€™t buy is the loving personality Filipinos have. I pray for them all. Tony from California

  • Lovely young lady especially wanting to go to college for higher studies.

Does her father actually have qualified trade papers, cert 111 in engineering fabrication trade or comparable formal training?
As welders are needed worldwide especially also if heโ€™s good in speaking English and has actually done 3 years in the trade, capable of reading, writing and understanding welding blueprints, drawings and specs.
In Australia thereโ€™s so many Filipinos working as welders.

    • No, he doesn’t, Victoria. Most people here are self taught and even the trade schools and universities here doesn’t give them the qualification paperwork that is needed outside the Philippines

    • @@qadventures. Thatโ€™s not fair, as so many countries would employ him otherwise๐Ÿ˜ข
In our country and many others Educ dept paperwork recognition of prior learning (RPL) sometimes help too๐Ÿ˜ข

  • I like the dream Philippines student has. It comes to my sense that human the more difficulties they face to achieve there dream, the more effort they put in. In my country the government takes the responsibility to give the motivation for stident to persue their education. Here if you want to succeed be you rich or poor everyone has the same opportunity. The education system here starting from a baby in a day care up to University the government provides. Even that ladies here do not want to make babies. When a woman going to give birth yhe government pays 500 dollars as birth assistance and a 100 dollars voucher for the mother to open her baby bank account. The mother gets 3 months leave or the father to take care of the child paid leave. If you bring the child to day care after the maternity leave up ro 3 years old the government pay 50% of the cost. Here to take care of babies all daycare are licensed. It is compulsory to send all children to school from age of 3 years old. From 3 years to 14 years it is against the law if students are not in school. The government provides transport, breakfast amd lunch to all public schools. By the age of 15 students can choose from vocational or academic secondary courses two years but not compulsory. Then students sit for post secondary education A level, or diploma. If a student comes out with 2 A’s in their A level or Diploma they will automatically qualify for a scholarship in their prefer major. All these are provided free for every student in Seychelles since 1978. I myself has a Diploma in Business Studies and Accounting, A certificate in computer system software development that was when i finished my Post secondary. Then for my major I took hospitality management for 3 years, I qualified with honors and i got a scholarship to go and study in Ireland for three years were I got my degree in International business and hotel Management from Shannon College. In 2011 I did my MBA. In my family my brother has a Doctorate in Leadership and Human Resources and in an American University, My Sister has a bachelor in Education from Oxford university. I have paid only for my MBA and my brother also for his Doctorate as we did this later in life when we had our own money the rest all were paid by the state. You can google see that Seychelles has the most literate and educated people in Africa. I know the Philippines can never do these for all children, but there should be more encouragement for stidents that really motivates in their studies. I wish this girl all the luck for her future. Rather than here in my country students take everything for granted as they are provided all for free..

  • Cute as a button. And her diction is extremely good. Keep an eye on this one Derek. She has a ton of potential. ๐Ÿ‘
