  • Build to decay :/

Those houses are perfect for renting and making some money.

Thanks for taking us with you. Stay safe

  • I was guessing in the early part of the video that these houses had been abandoned due to some form of contamination in the soil or some similar reason
However Mark gave us the correct reason, but it is a shame that all theses houses are being left open to the elements and slowly getting damaged.
If there is no one in the forces to fill them, it would be an idea to give the chance to occupy these houses to those who have been left homeless through fires or other disasters

  • Intresting they are not occupied. Dont think the ppl here in Spain would have that kind of respect ! The sqatters dont care about the law ! Thanks for showing us 🙂

  • IT WOULD BE GREAT IF HOMELESS POPULATION IN PHILIPPINES COULD OCCUPY THOSE HOMES. HAVE THEM PAY OWNERS EVEN IF ONLY 1K PESOS A MONTH. WONDER IF THAT CAN BE NEGOTIATED BY OWNERS AND BARANGAY

  • i have seen this from google earth .. i think the builders went bust and never finished the sub division . it has one main gate , but at the far end , you could make an escape rout if you were cought living there as squaters .. its an insane waste of homes rotting away . villa velencia is the name of the sub division … its cool to see it with people living there … im an aussie and i would move in there ..live free ,

  • mark is full of it ,, they are not government military housing , its up the hill from car car city,, that house was his shed for his bike ..

  • Thanks guys! I have a couple of “Spook” stories when I get back. Looking for Flights starting next week. Waiting for Lobster price to go down. I did not forget!

  • Wow; Great find as maybe this video can spark some interest as Car-Car always seemed like a busy little city and Amazed to see an Abandoned Housing development as each one of those bare bones units is probably $500k to $1 million peso to build. Also surprised the Jungle hasn’t taken more of it back as I’ve seen cars, pedicabs, and houses overtaken by the Jungle if left unattended and neglected. Would love it if you investigated more and talked with other residents who may or may not have a similar or more accurate full background story. Wonder if original owners can resell or sub-lease as it doesn’t look like many at all took up residence so there has to be an even Bigger story behind it all like; change of admin dropped it or builder ran off or went bankrupt; or units too unfinished and costly for new owners to complete but looks really close to being habitable. Would Love to hear more about this place.
