Sometimes change isn’t easy and when your a child having decisions made for you even if it’s made in your best interest can make you feel resentful for not being able to help those left behind knowing they are still struggling. I’ve been in those shoes myself a few times and although I’m greatful now as an adult still wish I could’ve been there for the ones I had left behind at the time. After 2 yrs i found out my mom owed $12k for loans paying out of state tutition costs. Its fantasy vs reality and its a fine line with this younger generation to somehow break through to them.
