  • Very nice helping. Canโ€™t save whole world, every little bit helps.
Watching from Fresno makes me appreciate what we have.
Watching other videos seeing how other half live in Manila wealthy upper middle class. Too bad they canโ€™t help or do they?

    • Hey Anthony from Fresno!!! Some do. Although I don’t pay much attention as I just do me the way I feel is most efficient.

  • So sorry to hear about EdMarie but she had a chance and declined. I think this family suits me as all their names start with J! Take care of yourself, Derek as it sounds as if you are getting sick again! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  • Well done Derek. Definitely good idea to help this nice family. I take my hat off to Jimsel. What an amazing young lady, working two jobs and studying. Absolutely love it and she deserves the assistance.

  • I recently found your channel and want to say thank you for producing these videos to show the real life in the Philippines and for everything that you do. I have seen other channels but they do not go into the depth that you do showing the real lives and culture of this beautiful country. Keep up the great work and I will keep watching you. Peace and love to everyone.

    • @@qadventures for sure as soon as some issues get sorted out at my job so I can start getting my vacations again, for now I’m just watching the country through you

  • Derek, why is the daughter the only bread winner? The dad cant work? Is he ill or disabled? Just trying to see the big picture.

    • He’s a construction worker/laborer. There’s no job. He was on a job, but his employer went bankrupt. There is a previous video that answer this question. The family is deserving from my observation

  • This is great Derek! Thank you for taking care of less fortunate people! God is watching and it is in alignment with his instructions for us to give back to our brothers and sisters that need our help! Love what you guys do and god bless you guys always! โคโคโค๐Ÿค™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿพ

  • thankyou so much for coming to visit me and also my family and thankyou for the requirements of my two sisters thankyou ate ai and kuya derek

  • What a beautiful family – they’re so grateful for any help, and such lovely people! โ™ฅThe backpacks are so cute!

  • Bravo for continuing the tradition of what the US has done there. It may seem to some that the US was using the Philippines for their strategic location (which is true). But in return for this, we negotiated the withdrawal of Spain (and later Japan) and monitored political and economic progression without meddling too much (we believe in freedom even when you make a bad choice). We committed $135 Million this year alone to help develop the nation. There are public works being done on flood control, water reservoirs, and road development + many other projects through the USAID program.
While they work on grand plans, you hit closer to home (literally).

  • @Q Adventures Love these vlogs Derek and your desire to help struggling families like the girls here.โค
Great job man and awesome vlog.๐Ÿ™

  • I love it when you pull off stuff like this man, always manage to get my tears wet. But it is beautiful and emotional so it is a good thing.
