really derek 😂 bantayan island 1500 php you get what you pay for in a turist area dont hurt a little buisness with the old grumpy US attitude, just poking you 😉
For sure, Morten… hahha!! You’ll be surprised that we got a beachfront house with dwarf coconut trees in the backyard for about 1,800 a day in the past
Its a normal well. Have you never used a well via a bucket before? I’m in my 60s from the US and as a child many of us country people had this kind of water as the only source of water for our homes. Others had a closed well with manual pumps.
The aircon looks too big for the room too.
Oh well at least the grounds are nice like you said 🤭
That plant you said was unusual is a kalanchoe variety, mother of thousands.
i could easily survive in the philipines without aircon in my country most people use fan even when the have AC, then again I don’t know if my country is as hot as the philipines as what most of the vloggers over there say.
Glad you got away and most of all have your Beautiful Ai with you and hopefully some good nearby food as the grounds look beautiful
Agoda can be hit or miss as Airbnb seems to be a bit better as the room looks basic no frills with resort prices so I’m guessing 1.5 of 5 stars
Ants are normal it is bad when cockroaches take over the hotel room. We Americans are spoiled. But i understand about the air-conditioning. If ots not Baguio it’s hot. We hope to come over soon to visit family. Be safe and just enjoy.
Had to comment again… We always bring a 3m extension cable the 3 or 4 ganger as many rooms in Philippines may have one outlet and its up high behind the TV. So advice for anyone coming to Philippines, always bring an extension multi charger. Life saver.
Watching D 🤭😊
At least Breakfast is included! Dining under the Jackfruit tree 😂
Jackfruit is breakfast, Jan
Exactly my point 😂🤣 as long as it isn’t an extra cost, you are good to go! 👍🏼♥️🇨🇦
Hi Derek, i also went to Bantanyan Island too last April. I believe it took us 4 hrs from Cebu City. We had a good 4 nights there. Enjoy guys!

I have not, hence my fascination.
Derek, great review of the “unsafe” safe 😂😂😂, that was funny. I feel guilty being entertained by your misery – just kidding…
it’s alright, Shawn. I poke fun at myself all the times.
The aircon looks too big for the room too.

Derek you and I have the same tatstes.I love jackfruit too. One of my favorite fruits to eat.
ah… Mr. Duc Le, haven’t seen you for a long time. fruits are one of the many motivating factors in moving here.

Agoda, i find, are usually rated by locals who has very different comfort levels than ones who grew up in the west

great advice. thank you
Alberta, Canada have lots of hotels without AC. Only a few weeks of hot weather.
Tourist placees are always more expensive. I’ve gotten hotels in Cebu for12k with a/c. Never seen an outlet limit. That’s wild!
Yeah. 12k is 8 times higher than this room, I would imagine 12k per night would be quite fancy
@@qadventures Oops! Misspoke! 1.2k. It was a cheap room with a/c. 🤣
solar small water pump is needed
That would be 💯 more efficient
If you see Frank tell him I said hell no,I meant hello 😅😅😅
Ya lsland hoping sucks
Those are european sockets. 😊
Aaahhh.. I see
