    • If I understand your question correctly, Jan, maybe 20 to 40%. And it’s not their preference, but more of a necessity. It’s a really dark reality

    • @ Yes, you understood me, Derek and I understand the sad reality but still can not help but wonder why nothing can be done. ๐Ÿ™ˆ

  • People need to just be quiet and give you the props you deserve for going out of your way to help the less fortunate. Happy holidays Q-fam โค

  • Being a trike driver or bar girl trying to help your family is way better than stealing or dealing drugs imho. Safety is always my concern for everyone. Maybe there is also the โ€œhopeโ€ of meeting a rich foreign sponsor or husband from work.

  • ๐Ÿ˜ฎhow do they do lt , is there not factories and industries, the Philippines has population to run large factories that could assemble cars and manufacturing goods just like china , government need to to invest in country and not them self.

    • Yes there are a lot of jobs here but no one wants to work in these dead in jobs, pay is low and doesnโ€™t increase. Most big companies wonโ€™t come here because of ownership issues and other things. Big companies donโ€™t want to rent, itโ€™s a cost that can change and effect their profits. Legal system doesnโ€™t favor anyone, and koruption is out of control. Everyone has to get a cut and it includes everyone. So the Philโ€™s shoots itself in the foot because of these issues.

  • Great content, Its sad that many think they can just fake their documents to get a head. How do you send a child to get a good education when they are trying to feed 6 kids. population is a very big problem. where did you get that very old Vancouver Grizzlies cap

  • They probably make more money than a call center worker, too. A lot of filipinas are doing “cam modeling” making more money than call centers. There can be a lot of money in the x industry if the girl is smart and attractive. In the USA you have transwomen easily making six figures a year “escorting” If the filipina is lucky she can even find a man who will give her an allowance and she will still work behind the guys back. Happens all over S.E. Asia.

  • Why has Viet Nam thrived even under communism while the Philippines is still unable to even feed their population?

  • Find out what a teacher in a public school makes, hell even a private school in the Philippines and you will see how low this country invest in their own people. It takes a guy from U.S. with a youtube channel to show the world the short comings of this beautiful country. If you think hard and deep about it, it’s the culture that holding them back from moving forward into 2nd or even 1st World. Look at Singapore and the 1965 independence they received and really started moving forward in 1968 to today….1st world baby. Vietnam, a communist ran country will outpace the Philippines in the next 20 years if not already to show the huge flaw in how the Philippines is being governed by those corrupted officials in office. Great topic for bar side or dinner table discussion…crack on!

  • There are X type workers operating as part of vast blackmailing rings. Their hunting ground for victims is very often facebook where your personal info is their goal. They befriend you to search your profile and personal data, and once they can extract something that can embarrass you, typically sexual in nature, you become their blackmail victim. These syndicates do pull in billions via blackmailing men over sexually explicit photos and vids. All men have gotten these friend invitations from strange women on facebook asking to be your friend.

  • I AM glad I AM part of Derek’s YouTube channel Family.

One day Derek, we will meet. I have an idea ๐Ÿ’ก. We must talk face to face first. It’s just that the distance between us is a two day trip. I AM on the Northern part of the main island, Delfin Albano, Isabela.

I have certain tasks I must accomplish first, before contacting You.

I know for a fact, You will like my idea. We just have to talk first to make it happen.

By the way, Mexico, which I will never go to again. The girl’s that wear the tallest high heels/stilettos, they are the working girls. Very sad and very dangerous to meet those kind in Mexico. Men usually get robbed or even worse, maimed or killed.

  • Those young ladies work there because of need, the question is those guys going there and they know they work there out of need.. how do they feel taking advantage of their situation? That is in my dictionary has a name.. exploitation..period.

  • The Philippines possesses all the necessary resources and potential to progress and develop. However, the current policies and political environment present significant challenges that hinder its advancement.. I might be mistaken.. do you agree?

  • Q, it’s all about the money. Sometimes a person has no choice but to make money by any means necessary. Thank GOD I was born in the USA. I feel fortunate.

  • Derek, yes it is hard for many in life, but knowing from a very early age, its work hard, or starve, and look after the family, is bred into them, which makes them far better human beings in whole, than being bought up in a country whereby, they have social security benefits for everyone, if they want to work or not. Imagine the whole of Europe, USA-CANADA and Australia NOT having the benefit systems, you will see far less crime, and the countries would thrive as EVERYONE would be out hunting for work instead of out for themselves and doing crime, I much prefer a proper working class country than a benefits driven nation. And for the ladies that work in the bars etc, I say, if you have it flaunt it lol..
BTW AI, oh dear, what’s happened to your lovely dark hair..

  • John did a good job. Always sad when people have to do things they don’t want to just to feed their kids and themselves.

  • John, you mentioned the system being toxic, as the families have the kids to support them when they get older etc, I see your point of view, but then pls realize one important factor, your family ties my friend, if the children were not bought up with that frame of mind, and family values, most of the parents would starve to death, these things all boils down to the government of each country, supporting free education to the nation, all the way through to university, and a system whereby once you get to a certain age the government step up and support all the elders with or without a family.. It can get extremely deep. BUT here is one important factor also, if your government did what the west do, then the large call centers would not be set up in the Philippines, as they ONLY go to the countries whereby their is no social support in place and they take advantage of the low income. The world works on making sure half or more of the countries are under the breadline, so they have their slaves in place, extremely horrible to say, but its fact my friend, one last item here also, the Philippines islands are all made from volcanic eruptions, and thus, the Philippines hold the most natural rare earth minerals, and with still billions of tons available, however the corrupt officials just take for themselves and not put back for the country. If the government stopped all foreigners taking the mineral rights and exporting it all, and the Philippine government did all themselves, and traded all themselves, the Philippines would be one of the RICHEST nations on earth and the people would live like KINGS.. BUT we all know not in this lifetime it will not change ๐Ÿ˜“

  • And hereโ€™s the kicker, this is why a certain poorer generally uneducated Filipina dates older guys ..they are means to an ends for the poorer family Ie itโ€™s potential investment..long term. And in certain cases ..awaiting the old guys to pop his clogs or they scam him out of his life savings. Be careful out there..when you come from the west, youโ€™ve no idea of the lives the poor lead.

  • There is always an easy way to make money and a hard one. These days there are also different options because of the internet to sell your soul.

In the end its not a decision of education…its a decision you make by yourself. Do you want to sell you body or do you choose the hard way.

  • husband speaking. A little North of Seattle on highway 99 for about 7 to 10 blocks would be a working girls area. The news report the ladies have almost no clothes on to advertise. Because of the Defund the Police there are not enough officers to waste time on these ladies.

  • Great video Derek, I like it. A little insight to the ( knowing English Language) and how it can change your income in the Philippines.

  • Could just wish the men from Us and Europe(most are) that are buying the girls could help them i stead of jusg thinking of their own pleasure ! Phillipines export… What is the top 10 export of the Philippines?
