husband speaking age 81 that is a heck of a lot of walking – our resort – Vistamar is just at the back of New Town a little ways. I have always wondered
how McDonalds got the first spot off the highway rather than Jolly Bee? Must have cost a lot for that right. We can see all the tall hotels from our deck over the
garage.
Derek is So helpful to expats and first time I rented a Motorcycle from him he took me to T & R and they were best money changer in Cebu. I Love the idea of Mercato as a must check out, as I enjoy Filipino food. I agree always go where Lots of locals are eating as best place. Lots of expats hang at Newtown and that outfit would suit Ai. So glad you got partnerships going; as your Bikes are the Best for Expats, etc. Peace of mind renting a bike ๐from a person you can trust.. (as a past customer I highly recommend ) Derek knows his coffee so if he offers you one then your in for a Treat โ๐
It is good you mention to your followers about the money issue. I went to Manila in October with $5000 and $2300 was not exchangeable. No marker(the famous counterfeit marker that United States uses) no pen, just perfect bills were accepted. What a mess. So make sure all your followers know to get perfect larger bills. Be well and I still watch your videos.
Thanks Derek, that was interesting, albeit a little different from your usual vlogs. Although i am personally very familiar with Filipino life. Good to see you and Ai out together enjoying your time together for a change. You can take what you like from that comment. It has been many years since i enjoyed the taste of raw oysters. They are just so expensive here in NZ nowadays and have become a luxury food. We’ll be returning to our home at Sogod late next year (about 18months from now), i will be looking to touch base with you. My very close friend is Rod, ‘Amazing Philippines”. Regards, Bob.
Thank you 2 for the tour ๐ Darn noisy ๐คฃ๐ The money exchange thing..I dont mind show my ID , passport etc…its mostly for money laundry reasons.
love the videos you always meet such amazing and fascinating types of people, here’s a bit of info for you: when I try and donate to your pay pal I’m in Canada it converts it to USD and our dollar isn’t worth nothing
1 Canadian Dollar equals
0.73 United States Dollar
my donation of $200 in CAD changed to $296 owww your in the Philippines it should change to PHP and not USD this means any donor will also go through the money exchange if there not in the USA
I am guessing your donation did not go through as I have not received any donations as of late. But yes, my YouTube account is registered in USA and I would like to pay USA taxes from my channel’s monetization. My PayPal account is also usa as I have not established any permanent status in the Philippines yet. I am not aware of the exchange rate, but I am pretty certain that you can make a donation in any currency. I believe you can also choose to donate in Canada currency or recipient to receive USD. Either way, it auto converts
Thanks for the cool tour, Derek and Ai! Your DJI Action 4 shoots very good video in low light! Iโm enjoying using mine for sure, I think GoPro is in troubleโฆ
Hi Derek and Ai, I noticed Scotty seems to have gone silent, on his last video he was talking about selling his bike, do you know if he is going back to Canada?
Great networking – loved those lights! Nice hair and nail shop – was that a church you and Ai passed by. Sure are a lot of good businesses open in your neighborhood. I always thought Dunkin Donuts are overly sweet and sugary. Shipley Donuts are pretty good in my part of town, but I never eat them lol – I don’t eat sugar – everything is sugar free for me. Just a choice I made, even though I really don’t need to not eat sugar. I’d love to stay at the Savoy Hotel – wonder how it looks inside. Going to look it up.
Like your style man, good on you and good work!

Thank you, Paul
I love the shoe shopping and donโt feel it is redundant. Each child reacts differently to the experience and the smiles tell it all!
We just did another one, Jan. Editing and uploading soon

Paradise here. No time for fight
I saw 57.20 exchange near Mactan Newtown yesterday
Yes. It went as high as 57.8. But I am not paying attention daily
