From my understanding, nursing is a 4yr program in the Philippines. Its a BSN. Then pass an exam. She is very responsible. Girls at her age in the USA wouldn’t do the same.
Unfortunately, some states in the U.S. have stopped honoring nursing degrees granted in Philippine schools, due to low level of training and/or corruption. Anyone who knows the phils knows the acadmic institutions have problems with corruption. I have personal experience with this so don’t tell us it is not a problem. Just something to be aware of if you hope to emigrate to the U.S. and work as a nurse… Do your research to be sure the state you plan to emigrate to will honor your nursing degree.
The cost of school is cheaper then the US, as you know. With fewer people able to afford and someone working and going to school is next to impossible. Trad school works out better. The best way is through the military, in all fields. The air force is the best by far. I’m US Army.
Since I fell down the Philippine rabbit hole one thing I have learned is that younger Filipinas especially are definitely not afraid of hard work, responsibilities and making very adult choices and sacrifices for their future. Good for her for working so hard for her future and helping out her family as well.
Exceptional interview with Samantha,What a Smart intelligent Young Filipina Lady ❤ Derick I think Samantha would be worthy of some financial assistance 👍✅ AUSTRALIAN-GUY

my nephew is a teacher in a boys high school, he says the best behaved kids are from the poor families as they know they need to study to achieve whereas the kids from rich parents cause all the trouble as they think that they are the privileged ones and can do as they pleased, its only parents money that got them a place at the school, thats why i love the way Filipina girls work like hell to get educated

tech: you can simply fix “digital” noise (probably from some mobile phone in call or with data transfer pending) by copying right audio channel to left (stereo is quite useless in this setup anyway).
How about setting up a fishing trip for expats with her father,.?
I’ve supported that sort of enterprise in both Thailand and Vietnam, it can be a good source of income for a fisherman and I’m sure there are people on holiday as well as expats who would like to experience a day out fishing on a boat.
❤
So many Great Filipina’s and she is such a sweet driven young lady as Derek can seem to pick out the Good ones as He is as good of person as she is. Every time I have met him I am more impressed with his heart. I Hope All her dreams come true.

Hey Brotha Q ! Why are so many philipinas wearing bracers? Is it a cultural thing?
I don’t think it’s a cultural thing. I really don’t know why. Maybe it’s super affordable here to get braces. Like $300 usd
Very strong and wise lady who knows what she wants out of life. Independence and education. Thankyou Derek for sharing 😊
Great job young lady, you will be an awesome helping nurse.
