Derek tell Peter the Capitol of Australia is New Zealand ! tell him STRAYAAAA MATE!! Actually The Chinese takeaway foods are as much a part to Australian and NZ culture and Kiwis and Kangaroos!
You go places that I would be afraid to go. (Slums) you are a brave man! I know you are extremely generous to give to the poor is it possible to adopt a family to get them out of poverty?
I mentor and provide resources to the younger generation so they can learn to be independent and help their own family independently. Adopting a family is a big burden and consumes a lot of resources and it’s not a good play in my opinion. If I was to die or go bankrupt, the families I sponsor will have the dependency on me and not know how to fend for himself
Very very humbling to see the poverty, but still the people smile ,are friendly and just get on with life. Thank you for this look at reality for the poorest people in the Philippines, makes the tears well up for sure. I thank God for all the Blessings he has given me, and I pray soon things change for the better for the poor people there.God Bless and take care from NZ🙏👍
A different side of life for sure in Manila, certainly a huge different contrast, everyone happy, unless they’re perplexed fixing a jeep 🤭
Thanks for the tour 😊👏Derek, Ai and Pete.
Thank you, great video ❤️ Feel for the ppl living in such poor conditions ! So many of them are still trying, small shops… most of them are still smiling and friendly.. its amazing ! Look at many in Europe and US are complaing cause they cant go on expensive holidays or buy what ever they want ! We have a lot to learn…..
Hi, Derek. I decided to look up what sari-sari (which I discovered is not sorry sorry) store is.
I noticed the woman waving to you @ 13:34 while you were talking.
I appreciate your videos and the insight you share with us.
I have been invited to visit the Philippines, but I won’t fly again.

Yes, true
It would be so nice if the trash was removed and vegetable gardens planted in it’s place – wish the government would help out.😞
Not only nice, but also logical and practical
