Very insightful video, Q. As a westerner, it’s easy to take simple things for granted. From the tightly packed living space to seeing her father weave that furniture by hand, it felt good seeing all the smiles from such hardworking and humble people.
Eye opening tour. They don’t think nothing of the way it looks. Still happy people. Wow and all they wanted is to see the foreigner and the camera 🎥. 😊
Very insightful. My attention was drawn to the construction of the living quarters and the severity of problems that would be caused by a severe storm. Problems a westerner won’t have at home.
It what I would expect of filipino living life still. And there’s nothing wrong with it. I like to see it. Would I want to live like that, no. Only if I had to. Mine would be a tent. A step down from there living conditions. If a person has lived like that all their lives, would not miss living in a big house.
Poverty is obviously very difficult, but considering their economic situation, this community looks great imo. People are smiling, children are taken care and fed, and I bet everyone tries their best to lookout for each other. I’d take this situation over the zombified street homeless communities of some countries I’ve seen any day.
Edit: Hey Derek, could we get a direct link to your airbnb tho?
I grew up in poverty for many years in the barrios. Ghetto. My mother and father had healthy marriage and life was peaceful. I never knew how poor I was until I went to the university with full scholarship because I had great grades. I would take poverty any day over a dysfunctional community and family. This community looks happy.
I too have seen some (not all, of oourse) economically impoverished communities “do well” in some ways regarding neighbors looking out for one another and extended families taking care of one another . In places wherein I noticed good community-mindedness, even with food a bit scarce, people found ways to mostly make sure beans & rice and sometimes canned fish were available to everybody… so not much food variety, but little to no starvation. Poverty is difficult to get out of since usually it takes money to make money. I’m not rich at all, and I come from America’s NorthEast, where people value privacy and families traditionally stay out of one-another’s business. So, when I visited places considered more “economically disadvantaged” in South America, Africa, & the Caribbean & saw the people-helping-people modality, it made my heart feel something…
@Q Adventures I understand she’s spoken for as of today. Not surprising. I watched the interview on Ai’s channel and WOW she is going to be a great adventure partner in life for anyone. As you visit her often it would be cool if you updated us on how Luchelle gets along. Let’s go!
Crazy. In the western world a man earning $90kUSD per year and having a three bedroom house with lots of land paid for in full is seen as a bum and a loser by most ladies.
@Q Adventures It’s sad for sure. Ladies have super insane high standards yet have very little to offer besides the obvious. I know many ladies older than me that can’t even cook. Me as a man could cook before age 10.
Nice people and all happy , I don’t see poverty I see people who are happy with what they have . And she seems like such a sweet girl even she’s abit shy, maybe next time I get near there I will take a look also 😊
Good job bro … you have a lot of patience… I just wish in this so called high tech world we prioritized for locations like this with respect to sanitation and water … everybody should have access to a clean environment…
Yes brother. I am in the early phases of learning about my new home environment. I have already taken 1 kid under my wings. More to come, but need to understand the big picture 1st
Did I just hear you utter a partial German sentence: “Das ist die” reality of life in the Philippines? Are you German? I was wondering about that, listening to you.
I have lived in the Philippines on and off since 1987 My son 32 half Filipino, here is the BIG problem , due to decades of TOTAL corruption there and the Filipinos will, not get together and protest they simply put there head down and carry on, to some extent this is a HOME-GOAL from the Filipino people, and the GANGSTER Filipino Governments know this,,,there is your POVERTY answer…ingat Ray in the UK….Ps make as many videos about Poverty there as you likee, as long as the Filipino people just take it, it will never end..simple lang
I get your point and appreciate the perspective. I know I cannot solve the “problem”. But I still will contribute to filipino society by being as involved as I can. Please continue to support my channel to observe my progress.
newly subscribed.. I’ve visited PH twice.. I’m fascinated about the Filipino durability and happy demeanor.. I believe they do also have a strong immune system and guts of iron.. I’m 7 months into selling most of my stuff to move there at the end of the year… thanks for filming and posting..
@Q Adventures thanks.. I saw you on regular guys video.. my next visit is late June.. plans are to be on Leyte, but if I make it to Cebu I will look you up for sure..
Thanks for a good calm vid, not rushed and respectful and keeping it real, the women and kids seem more open to you than the men, thinking they are bit more embarrassed (probably wrong word there) with rich westerner in their most, new subscription from Uk, coming to Phils October, keep on keeping it real bud❤
Thank you for the support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I may be of assistance to anything in cebu. We have accommodations and bike rental catering to foreign nationals with next level customer service 😀
Philippines is a shambles….people stuck in the familiarity of poverty only able to do today what they did yesterday……..I was attracted to this video by the click bait picture of the girl wearing a bra or bikini top posing for the camera in what appears to be a hotel room 😎
hi bro Michelle is a beautiful woman i love (umapad) mandaue been going there from 2016 i have friends that are like family to me i dont recognise that part of mandaue and i know it prety well would love to meat up when i get back if you want hope to here back from you soon
For sure brother. I always have a hard time pronouncing filipino barangays, but she’s near the new bridge in mandaue. And I’m literally 100ft before Tambuli Resort. I have a motorbike rental business here so I am not going anywhere. Look forward to meeting you when you come back.
@Q Adventures that sounds like paknaan ??? or looc part ??? i do have a youtube chan as well if you want to have a look bro i have mandaue videos on it as well i norm at c,batiller street near J&J FROZEN STORE i do the likes of dj systems and solar and water tower things i look forword to meeting you
Lapu-Lapu City JJ. If you need anything like accommodation or bike rental, I have it available. And if you need tourist activities like jetski, parasailing, etc. I got some juice with the locals here in Lapu-Lapu
Yeah I was surprised to learn that. I just happened to be chatting to someone online there and asked them how their trash collection worked and they said it’s free, they take the bags to a collection point in their neighborhood. I looked online and found the whole country is that way. Makes sense because few would pay for it if it was optional.
@Darrell W. Hayes It’s Labogon in Mandaue City, classified as a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Philippines. In developed countries if someone says “I live in the city” yeah that’s not how you picture it.
@S Dickinson – Well, someone once said that it falls at the feet of the government. No one in that country wants any foreigner to say one bad thing about the Government of the Philippines nor the People of the Philippines; and just accept that “It is our Culture.” And so it is such that the non-hidden garbage 🗑️ and the abject poverty shall forever remain either worse or the same until the Philippines People themselves rise up and look at both with no longer tolerable disdain… 😏
You can clearly see the humble, respectful, unspoiled beauty of her attitude and demeanor. Although these people have very little in material wealth, they’re always smiling and have a great attitude. The western world, which has become spoiled rotten with consumerism, can learn alot from the people of the philippines
@Manuel dela Cruz Dont try and elevate the Philippines by trash talking the US. At least I have never seen grandmothers trying to sell their granddaughters in Philadelphia or old homeless women on the streets of Los Angeles completely topless. At least I have never met a beautiful girl in her 20s that had 3 kids, and NO drug problems in the US that had to prostitute herself for $30 a night just so she could feed her kids in the US.
It is because they never had anything in the first place. I am sure if you plunked them down in the US they would eventually succumb to are commercialism.
I’m from Australia (the lucky country, apparently) and I’ve been to the Philippines many times, love the place, the people, the lifestyle and now have many friends there big and small, the kids call me tito or po and I love it and them dearly. The first time I went there I learned exactly what you have commented and it hit me like a train how these beautiful people have next to nothing and maintain such a beautiful attitude, yes we are spoiled rotten and still not happy, cant’ wait to get back there soon, god bless the Plilippines.
I never got to see her in the outfit on the title page 😢 How old is lachel anyways
She’s so hot
And us as Americans don’t relieze how lucky we are❗️ But yet so many Americans you walk by everyday have a frown on there face
You’ll here some of Em say that Africa is a country is poor, too hot, uncivilized, i feel sorry for this people they’ve good good personalities bcoz they know the meaning of life they’re humbled.
Great 👍 video and insightful view into lives of the people . I was just in Cebu for 2 weeks staying in the IT Park area and did not get to experience this side of Philippines. Thanks for sharing it .
The government is at fault for the pollution. The people where they should not have to pay to have trash picked up. I live in Negros oriental and our trash is picked up weekly and no one has to pay extra for this service.
It’s incredible how they can still smile despite their situation.
Thanks for the insight in your video, it helps a lot to open our eyes on how lucky we are in the west and we still not capable to smile like these people.
Because you’ve been raised to feel like you have to have money or you can’t be happy. Those families are closer than our families, and they are happier than our families. So they should be feeling sorry for you.
I went to the Philippines a couple months ago and boy was it a culture shock… But after spending time with the locals I was amazed at how happy they are.. The lives are very simple.. The poverty back there is very sad But they do the best they can It’s an amazing country to visit
This is a perfect example of why I intend to spend a large amount of time in an area like the Philippines when I retire shortly, I would rather spend money there and help those people by doing so, thanks for sharing.
Let’s put another race in these same circumstances and they would be tearing each other apart with rampant crime and murder (Brazil? others?) What is the secret here? I have been to Tondo and other parts of the Philippines at least 5 times. I am amazed and humbled and return home a better person.
She might also be shy because of her teeth. I have lived with poor Filipinos on Leyte for four years, they are good people.
There are over nine million family’s that do not get three good meals a day, and if the children are added in the total is about 45 million people in Philippines.
Most of my neighbors are in bamboo houses, and have no electric or gas stoves.
@Q Adventures most poor Filipinos only know that a tooth can be pulled. I have told several about dentist being able to fill and repair cavities. They had never heard that this could be done.
Cost is only about 3000 pesos for an x ray and to fill two teeth. I have paid for two fillings plus a four bridge denture this year. The big smiles after the dental trips were
worth the cost.
How can the Phillipines be so poor yet South Korea is becoming a power house in Asia? I was born in the Phillipines, but my family emigrated to the US when I was still a toddler. The economy in the Phillipines has gone down since the 70s. One thing they have to focus on is building industry and infrastructure. There is too much focus on religion and making babies. In much of the Phillipines, you see many kids “galavanting” around when they should be in school. Too many people making kids without the long term plan on how to raise them well.
@deanc2000 this issue is much more complex than what I can offer you as an answer. However, I feel joy for your family and how well you are raised. God bless
@Lux Shampoo she is absolutely an adult. She and my 27 yr old girlfriend was just trying on make up, outfits and playing with the camera. Luchelle Mae felt pretty in this outfit and suggested I use this photo as my thumbnail as she seldom feel this pretty. I hope the photo did not offend you in any way
Filipinos prove that you do not need much to be happy, us westerners are so spoiled by luxurious things that we constantly take for granted. After visiting my girlfriends province in Pangasinan it gave me a total new perspective on life. I’m so grateful to be apart of such a beautiful family and out of all the countries in the world that I’ve visited, Philippines really is the best experience I’ve ever had in terms of travelling, the people are so nice! I cannot wait to settle there in the near future and build a beautiful family with the love of my life. Thanks for the video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. You’ve just gained a new subscriber from Wales 🙂
@Q Adventures Wasn’t against you. It was more against how some people say Filipino do not need much or are all happy and smiley and the wording is written in such a way as if life is full of rainbows despite the poverty.
It is not. Having grown up in Asia, i know how bad the abject poverty is there. If the Filipino’s look happy and smile then that is testament to their spirit but there is a reason why Filipino’s have such a high diaspora working for peanuts abroad. The expats are spending $$ so they don’t feel the bad economic situation and the poverty feels like a sightseeing trip for the expat. For the locals, it is pretty bad. I mean the girl in this video lives in a shack with 7 other people.
@Gallowglass please go ahead and do. I would love to see you thrive in that grinding poverty.
The one thing you probably will have is more safety because Filipino’s, despite their struggles, are not out there wildly and blindly shooting at each other.
… who’s holding her hostage, that she needs rescuing?
She looks to have a loving pragmatic family, family life. Are participatory members of a larger community. All seem to work hard and acquire enough to sustain them. What are you hoping to rescue her from?
If it’s poverty, then hell… I’m poor, help me out. I got a $1080 Propane bill last month that I sweating over..
Admittedly, I’m neither a baby nor a doll, alas. But some say balding fat doods have a cuteness of a kind that has its own endearing qualities.. 👼
Thank you for verbalizing that. Everybody are of legal age and willing participants. Even her parents are in the video with big smiles. Even the thumbnail used was Luchelle’s choice. If you ever find yourself to the Philippines, I got your back as you have mine on this platform
Pple here in the states are in 4 a rude awakening wen SHTF and they will loose all their perks, comfy, consuming-spendrift lifestyles all come crashing and then they will realize that what they see in this vid how important Ph pple’s resourceful, resilient, frugal and most of all (happy) way of living is the Only way 2 survive.
At least if they lose their jobs the bank can not take away their homes they worked for for 30 years like in the USA 🙂 Always something positive ! peace.
This is much better than being homeless on the American City streets come and see the catastrophic homelessness in Phoenix AZ where I live !!!!! Veterans who served in the United States military living on the streets.
Gentlemen, work hard, save your money in your 20s and 30s. When you hit 40 if you’ve got 200k saved up, or you bought a house in the West and you sell and move to the Philippines, you can live so well.
Average income is $4,000USD/yr. Imagine selling your paid off home at 40 and moving to the Philippines with 400k in the bank. With 20 – 30k/yr income at 40 you can meet a nice girl and start a family.
Always watch for scams, sign a pre-nup, and read up on Filipino divorce laws, because they are different.
Your dollar goes so much further in the Philippines than it does in America. Stay out of big cities, pick a 2nd tier city you like and you can live well for 50 years.
I grew up in similar circumstances, the only big difference was cold and damp, climate, vs Philippines hot and muggy
The river had to stink, given the rotting garbage, humidity n heat.
Cold and damp, vs hot n humid, there both miserable when not being able to protect one self from the element’s
wow…that is so sad , how many people there actually have to live like that due to their circumstances…very sad, it makes one speechless, thanks for the video
Very nice video depicting life of the average filipino. I always enjoy seeing videos of people who have so little but still have a positive outlook on life. Always keeps me grounded and makes me remember my humble beginnings as well
The foreigners have always known the country has a lot of poor. They hear and see that in the media, plus the western media is big on the poverty and misery of people in the world, including their own people. Negative news sells a whole lot as we know. Not singling out the Philippines, India lifted her more than 400 million poor to an OK, just ok as opposed to a real miserable living conditions before. Nigeria’s poor at the moment is running to 100 million. Poor Filipinos we have now is about 20 million. But let’s look at the remaining over 80 million Filipinos who are not living the American middle income standard, but not literally poor either. They are FINE. Not many years ago, the over 50 percent of Filipinos are poor. Let’s give credit to our government for attracting multinationals to give us jobs. It’s the multinationals, most especially American multinationals that made China as we see it today. Business people go where there’s lower wage-paid people. We have taken over the giant India to be the world’s backoffice. That’s hundreds of thousands of jobs and counting. Those ultra modern skycrapers we have are either condos or American and European overseas backoffices and call centres. That’s the work of our government. Yes, they are corrupt, but they work. Hopefully they do more. That says that the majority of us are not poor. Poor countries with tiny percent yet millions of poor are poor as generally considered by anyone in the world. The western media shows the negative of these countries everywhere and everytime. The west and the US has their share of misery and poverty. Crime for one in the US is non-stop and shootings of school kids is one that any government in the world hope and pray they won’t have. That is to mention one of the many other crimes and developing issues in the west. The Philippines is a laggard they say behind its neighbors. In the big cities, not really. Too many poor, yet it is very modern and developments as we see continues. Cranes kept working during the pandemic. It is a good sign. Poor Filipinos, Indians, Nigerians and all poor people in many other countries including those living in the streets of Philadelphia and California is disappointing. But even the rich and powerful cannot do anything swift to solve the issue. Being merely ordinary citizens including the foreigners, we cannot do anything. The poor Filipinos shouldn’t affect our day to day lives to the point of leaving. Otherwise, that narrows the choice for a good world travel for you find poor people even in rich countries. Poor people shouldn’t be a hindrance to living our short lives.
Back in the old days a poor beautiful girl was going to marry way up, of course attitudes have changed a lot. What happens in a country when everyone is poor and all the girls are pretty? I’ve seen a lot of videos on poverty in the Philippines, they always make me sad. Such a cool country in many ways. Besides poverty the worst things are those city power lines, seeing those in videos always make me worried.
I was in Manila for a couple of months and all I saw was the BIG number of high rises and WEALTH. I hopped over to Bohol and Cebu and saw high rise development after development. Like any country, the cities are where a majority of the populations live WHILE the countryside are where farmers stay. According to a quick search, the Philippines has a 13.2% poverty index. This is like looking at West Virginia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Mississipi, etc. and saying the U.S.A. is an extremely poor country. Having said that, I’m amazed at the amount of progress the Philippines has made over the past couple of decades. The people are happy because they have food to eat, jobs to go to, and families surrounding them. Mabuhay Philippines!
Where did you get that stat. The Philippines is a a very poor nation. The majority of Filipinos are very poor. Even a place like Manila has tons of very poor people though it certainly does have wealth too.
I think, to be fair, most travelers stay within the confines of the high rises as said and blinded to the actual Philippines. Published stats are unreliable as lot of the filipino population doesn’t even exist on paper.
It takes a trumper cultist to say what you said. Deep poverty has been a hidden feature of America for more than 200 years. Its entrenchment in American life has outlasted every political party since this country was founded.
I’d give anything to be happy there , any day to be successful American man 48 years old alethic built fit in America here , there beautiful & kind , thanks for sharing
Great video of the local Filipino neighborhood and livelihood of making chairs. One thing I just want to point out to Foreigners. When you enter a Filipino house if you see footwear left outside the door. That means you too should take your shoes off to show respect to the family.
So nice to see this. The culture and country is a beautiful place. The people are amazing. Unlike the United States . The United States is full of hate and drama , when you have very little back have love and and great love of life . I want to leave the United States and live out a peaceful life. I was in Zamboanga City and too us there poor , but they are rich and beautiful.
If I can help a few families a month please let me know. I’d love to meet them also. Sadly you have to watch out for those that take advantage. I had a few myself . But seeing then buy a big bag of rice and food was just amazing and heart warming for me..
@john seltzer just simply by watching my contents is help enough. However, if you wish you make a voluntary contribution, I have a PayPal donation link on my description section as well as my channel’s “about” information. Thank you for your kindness
As a retired US Marine I am happy to say I am far from poverty here in Cavite
it’s unfortunate the government of countries all over the globe seem to conveniently forget about the people, all politicians are without a doubt, millionaires, with free electric free water free gasoline free trips free medical free education I guess the governments are experts at dumbing down and oppressing the people vote them out make a change very sad for me to see people living like that.
That’s beyond my comprehension and control. Meanwhile… I am doing my best to contribute 1 at a time. You are helping in a huge way by being an active consumer of my channel. More than you can imagine
@Q Adventures Actually I do know.
It’s sickening and soul crushing to not be there when I know how they are over there.
I am doing everything I can to take longer trips, live there part time and ideally, never come back.
Thanks for the videos.
You are living the dream.
This house has a TV and Frigidaire. Many have just ice boxes that hold ice only . No fridge . The CR / bathroom is outside. Mainly no hot water , Well Water Only..
@Q Adventures Hi Q,
East St Louis Illinois use to be an All American City. The town epitomizes the decline of the United States. On the other hand the Philippines is in the process of making life better for their people.
I grew up poor down south in the USA. We were happy and we didn’t even know we were poor because everyone we knew live like us. We thought everyone live that way because we never left our neighborhood.
@damanibaraka7896 This is so true! I also grew up in a poor southern community in the U.S. When everyone around you lives poor, you’re not embarrassed because you are unaware of how raw your life appears to outsiders! I recognized this in the girl and the people of that village. Where I grew up we had hog pens, chicken coops, dog pens ( for our hunting dogs) & stables for horses, mules & ponies. We were obvious to the smells of daily life around us. But our city cousins were nearly knocked unconscious by the “ aroma” and always needed an adjustment period when visiting for the summer!😂
the best nations to live in are…….the nations with the most fundamental bible-belief culture,,,,,,,,,like usa 200 years ago………..the Bill of Rights were derived from men who learned literacy using the bible as their textbook.
Been there many years from the early 80’s to 2023 and have seen one end to the other, I will be moving there in the next few years after retirement I at least know some tagalog and can get by
great job Q! My Filipina’s brother once told me. “We Philipinos don’t have much money or many posessions, but we always have a smile on our faces”. It’s proved to be very true. The people are incredibly resilient and friendly!
On the contrary, I had more possessions back home than I realized I cared to have and my possessions owned me to an extent. What your brother in law said was said to me many times in the phils and I act right now. I have less hence I have more freedom to Rome the island nation
Curious why out of so many images you could have choose as cover of the video you choose the girl in bikini, a beach or pool is not in any moment part of your video. In a country known for sexual exploitation that doesn’t seem appropriated. It just for the views? You could have done better.
Why is the thumbnail a picture of the young girl in her underwear or bathing suit? Why do you have this image? This looks like you took advantage of this young girl in between your posting how poor she and her family are.
She and my gf were trying on newly arrived beach bikinis, taking photos and having fun. It was HER choice to use this photo as a thumbnail because she was proud of her vanity in this specific photo. My next video has a photo of my gf in a bikini top next to me that SHE feels proud of.
@Q Adventures when I get back there I may contact you about one of your rooms. After seeing scotts review the place it may be what Im looking for until I decide what my future will be. Keep up the good work.👍
Thank you for the comment. And to assure you, she is a very intelligent girl chasing a college education. Not to auction herself off. We have also assured her to reach out to us with any help, she has and we have helped to our best ability
@Q Adventures Salamat po for helping her. Life is still challenging with an education. As much as parents now pushed for towards higher education, it is difficult and marriage is still the only option that ensures the ability to keep eating for most Filipinas by 25, graduate of university or not. I have my masters in higher education and still only earns 8800 pesos a month, which all goes to my parents. My husband doubles that so I don’t work second job. I am the youngest and responsible for my parents since we are the only couple of all my siblings who do not have children yet, and stress of that makes me want child here now so all of the siblings will be forced to share in my burden. She seems to also have that burden as the eldest female, So, I will pray for her, but we filipinas usually have double motivations at her age with the goal to always support our family easier.
@American and Pinay Wow!!! that’s is fascinating. As for Luchelle Mae and the local community here, I am working on something that I do not want to make public until i find a level of success to support it.
As for you, what area do you live? we would love to buy you and your husband dinner to have a discussion. What you just said is something I would love to know in depth.
I worked in the PI for 7years in the 80’s on Luzon.
Something I’ll always remember is after one of the big typhoons that came through, I was driving to work. I passed by a family of 7-8 dragging pieces of their house back along the road. Each person was dragging something: metal roofing, plywood, cardboard, plastic, etc. When I drove by, they all waved and smiled real big. I was thinking this family just got their house destroyed and yet they are still very happy. In the states, people through a fit over nothing, as if the world is ending.
Did you see any of my philanthropy videos? I also offered her support for college. Didn’t wanna flex on cam. I’m doing some letting Jay. No worries. I’m trying to understand 1st so I don’t over commit
Hmmm I wish the country can plan to have a good sewers and electrical system. Both of these securities will be a start and it will take work but like anywhere… if there’s a will, there is a way.
Yes. You are right. I don’t pretend to comprehend the big picture, but as I understand it… it is an island nation and these infrastructure issues are more of an obstacle being an island nation. Transportation of equipment and goods are more complex than I can fathem. Secondly, my observation is that the phils seem to be very reliant in foreign investors to accomplish these kind of infrastructure projects. I may be way off, but I seem to notice many Chinese companies involved in power plants, buildings, etc.
You must feel like Royalty walking around in your Nike’s and Armani Exchange Sunglasses asking the uncivilized where their husband is, how many kids they have, what job they have. I dare you to do the same in a Trailer Park in Arizona or the Hood of Oakland, Chicago and NYC and see if they don’t stick that camera up your behind. It might just dislodge that stick stuck in there making you feel so high and mighty…
Your so unkind lady. He is only reporting what life is like there! He can’t change it. At least people on the outside world see it, and God might touch their heart to try and help.
Its called “Poverty Porn” @East Oakland World Traveler . Imagine going into Oakland walking around a poor neighborhood and asking these questions. “Hey Lady ,how many kids do you have and do you have a husband with a job”? and not getting your face bashed in for being a condescending prick.
Americans have no idea. They see all these beautiful videos from the Philippines and these old American retiree men who decide to retire there and think its Nirvana. And it is..IF..you are a tourist and are only there for a couple weeks or so. But in many of the provinces and barangays, there is absolute poverty. And the amenities we take for granted are few and far between over there. Fresh sanitary drinking water, toilet facilities, and even housing can get pretty sporty to the native Filipino. Some wake up with the mission of trying to get a meal for the day. And you might have to travel far for medical treatment. Many hospitals there will not treat you without up front pymnt of some kind. Very few can afford medical insurance. (It use to be called PhilAM) Not sure what it is now. So stick to the major cities if you even want some of the amenities you are accustomed to. Remember, all that glitters over there is not gold. I lived there for 2 yrs and kissed the earth once I got back to America.
yep, lots of roosters. just like I remember it. (bone meal powder should give your body some more calcium [take magnesium, it needs to go with calcium] might help your teeth. less acidic food will be better for your teeth, less carbohydrates like rice would be better. shes VERY beautiful though. the modern western diet fucks up alot of things, and most people dont know it yet.)
The sad part is only foreigners have good things to say about Filipinos .. a average Filipino does not trust his fellow countrymen.. outside their immediate family .. are looked upon with suspicion…sometimes with animosity ..
That is a perspective. But at the same time, being Chinese family who immigrated from Vietnam to America, I feel the same distrust, animosity, suspicion, etc etc from my own relatives.
@Q Adventures if they’re trying to take advantage of you .. trying to hurt you.. physically.. I don’t think it’s just a matter of perspective.. Filipino crab mentality.. regionalism.. blind allegiance one’s family .. a host of other social ills.. And why do foreigners think otherwise ? Because of the world renowned Filipino hospitality.. but that extends only to foreigners ..
You’re obviously Asian and you call yourself a “Foreigner”, so I’m confused because you appear to be Filipino. I’m from New York, not Asian and been here going on 10 years and many now think of me as Pinoy! What is your background? Enjoyed the video. I, too, often think of the smells and wonder about “pain”. Looking at the young lady’s teeth and that of her father makes me wonder about dental care and how they handle the pain.
Hey Roy… I was born to Chinese parents in Vietnam. Later immigrated to USA (Los Angeles). I have no connections to the Philippines besides being in the refugee camp in Bataan back in 86/87
That’s a pretty girl You have to understand Everything is not like it is in the West is so exmessage The West is so expensive In the Philippines you just have to adjust to that way of living
I hove to wonder if they know they have a wealth of materials to build a better life for themselves. Shells can be heated to make a cement with volcanic ash if available. If the dirt has clay in it, you can make Adobe like material. Combine the Adobe and cement and you can make a durable hard floor(earthen foor) and even interlocking brick(say 16x8x4) with a simple wood form. A home made from these Adobe bricks would be up to 20 degrees cooler on the inside than the outside temperature with 16 inch thick walls. That’s using totally passive cooling of the structure thermal mass. Also if the soil is good (correct clay content) if you dig down 10 feet you should have enough soil to build a 3 story house(a basement, a main floor, and a 2nd floor) the same size as the hole. Any straw like local plant can be used as a binder. Any local straight wood(say like a palm tree) could be used for beams. How many 4 meter beams could you get out of 1 palm tree?
You said the river was polluted. Any bio waste, food scrapes, sewage, leaves, ground wood can be converted into biogas for cooking or even to run an engine. Ie… free fuel.
Yes it would take alot of manual labor but little to no money if everybody helps. And in the process of building better homes it would use up all the things that would otherwise be just trash.
All excellent points. However, all that you are saying requires a wide range of knowledge and “know how”. Even I, with my experience in sales, who requires to know a little of everything to carry a conversation, register what you are saying, but to put it in practice is a no go. Imagine these folks who’s only concern is to put food on the table on the daily, how would they even approach all that you are pointing out?
Although you make an excellent point. I would love to meet someone like yourself in the Philippines who has the time to contribute in educating these communities on how to apply these concepts.
@Q Adventures I have already retired but my wife has a few years to go before she does and we can return to the Philippines. When I do I plan to build a home like I discussed.
Her family(parents) have land near the ocean and in the mountains we can choose from. Although I will likely bring superadobe tubes with us to make it easier and faster than build with brick. An minor expense really and much easier than trying to source it there I think.
I’ll hire the labor to do it as it is mostly unskilled and easily teachable. Hopefully those around me then will see value in it and it can spread as they teach others.
For example the biogas generator is just a modified septic tank. Other than slightly changed to capture the gas, it is a quite common construction. Given enough fuel, sewage, food scraps and other miscellaneous biomatter it can make a home or homes self sufficient and reduce pollution.
I have also seen pinoy set up filtered rain water collection that easily provides almost free fresh water that I plan to add. I will also build rocket stove for the dirty kitchen as they are much more fuel efficient, cheap and easy to make. Plus they keep the heat outside… lol.
Hell there are enough relatives about to start up a clean up service to fuel a larger biogas generator to provide my own electricity. And not only have enough left over gas to give them free to cook but maybe generate some extra cash for them to spend. I’ll already have an income so I don’t need the cash just to manage it if they are willing to do the work.
I tell you what, Bill… please, please, please… DO let me know when you get this started. I would love to offer my free labor. If not anything else, I would love to learn your process. I was flipping homes in san antonio during the pandemic, so I have little knowledge of what you are saying. But it does fascinate me as I look forward to building a few homes for myself here
@Q Adventures I’m working to the long plan here so im not expecting to leave for about 5 years yet… unfortunately. However I might have mispoken as I’m not looking for free labor even though I thank you for the offer. I’m looking for people willing to learn and hopefully improve on my ideas and MORE importantly teach others that in can in their turn teach more. People to learn and mentor others.
This has already been successful in South America and Africa by others, and even by a few here in the United states. And there is actually a wealth of available information freely available. Actually, if you research earthen construction, Roman concrete, rain water harvesting, syn and bio gas generation you need not really wait at all. And in addition you may find another method that better suits your needs than my ideas do.
I merely mentioned them as you listed problems you said in your videos, I saw not only solutions but resources they could be using to improve their own lives. None of this technology is new but has existed for at least a hundred years to well over thousands of years old. And all of it is well documented.
In addition to electrical roofing, plastering, and repair experience I was in school back when trade was part of the US education system. So over a lifetime I have picked up a great deal of scattered information that I’m just combining into my project. What do they say… jack of all trades but master of none… lol. I would guess that’s me.
But with a glass jar and some subsurface soil you can teach yourself how to analyze the soil. It actually quite simple. Not as sophisticated as a labratory but does it really need to be to make bricks? After all your not creating the cure for cancer, your going to use a building method that’s existed for ages. During ww2 we powered cars and generators with syn gas. There are several methods.ll
Add some shells and some ash with the proper soil ratio with a form you can make small test bricks to hone your skill and knowledge. There is a reputed expert there in the Philippines that teaches about rain water harvesting.
If you have land there and you need irrigation you can built a pump to use a stream and water it all without power.
The examples I gave where for things I’ve planned to do because of the resources I know are available to me through my wife’s family and inheritance. Land, wood, shells, coconuts, banana, rice fields and most importantly family manpower. Right now they seam to go in different direction, I’m just working to get them all to pull in the same direction at the same time. Once they do they will see an explosion of life improvement for themselves. Or in short they are just currently uncoordinated.
Your situation may be different so you’ll need to adapt to get the best results for yourself and your family. I hope to hear that you not only have found solutions that work for you but have come up with something also that could teach me something also. Best of luck to you and your family.
@Roy Erikson man you just have to go. it will be an experiance of a lifetime. dont worry about the detaials to much. because once you get there everything you know will be different. just go.
I also see many Indian tourists here and shared a few chit chats with them. I see how genuinely appreciative the Indian tourists are of the Philippines
I admire how they don’t have much but still have a happy smile and heart. Love to chat with a local about maybe some simple things that might help improve their town and sanitation issues.
for about $100 here, you can have a feast with the community and gain their instant attention and appreciation of your gesture. you will sit with them as long as you wish and their entire attention will be on you.
I will happily pay for a community feast and do what i can to improve the young lady in the videos fam and wider community. Do you have a way i could contact her please mate 🙂
Maybe take the shells back to the ocean?! Sweet young lady. Inquisitive village. I can see myself visiting there. Id bring things from my home state to give to the kids. Where was this again?
@Q Adventures How do I contact her Auntie? I just got scammed by a 3 yr relationship, 3 weeks before she was to come here on a K-1 Visa. Feeling like broken man.
I highly encourage that to feel the locals’ full appreciation and positive energy. I am buying 2 live goats at just about $30 a piece and a few ducks to feast with the locals within my community. just giving back a little
If some people in sections of western countries had to live like this , maybe they would quit protesting over nothing !! These Filipino people are tough as nails and very nice and happy !!
Yep. I saw a documentary a while back how the west came to protest a “hobbit” themed restaurant that employs little people. Calling it degrading. The little people ran the protesters out bcoz they wouldn’t have other means of meaningful employment without this foreign owned restaurant. The point is… better to understand a situation and not judge with an ignorant mind
Ok… I give up, where’s the poverty? Just because some Filipinos live differently from the lifestyles of other countries, doesn’t mean they’re poor. In fact, I think in some ways they are richer than most people here in the states.
Thanks for the content, it’s revealing and informative. You can see why marrying a foreigner is a legitimate way out of poverty for some filipinas. The opportunity becomes more important than the relationship unless you want to live like this until you die. Happy and content? I’m not so sure. Resigned and surviving is perhaps more accurate.
I hear what you are saying and can see the logic. But I haven’t experience what you are saying. Maybe I was 34 when I dated an 19 yr old filipina, 36 when I dated an 18 yr old and 44 as I am dating a 27 yr old, I only feel genuine care and love from my experiences
This guy is disgusting.
Have some respect.
Your comments are degrading.
People live like this all over the world.
No need to talk like they’re freak show.
Absolute proof that “things” alone don’t create happiness. After living in the Philippines for 3 years, I observed this inner happiness myself among all Filipinos regardless of wealth or lack thereof. It’s a beautiful country filled with beautiful souls. 😊 ❤️
Yes I had the honor of meeting her via Derek’s gf I’m not sure what she is looking to get out of it. On AI’s channel she said she wants to marry a foreigner
It’s hard to believe people live like this in these days. They don’t have a lot but are still happy and grateful for the life they have. I love the Philippines and the people are so friendly and helpful. I hope to be back there soon
New Subscriber….
I am an American 🇺🇸 Expat living in the Province of Balamban in Cebu.
I lived in Lapu Lapu for a little while in 2018. I found it very crowded and Chaotic so I moved up to the Province of Balamban in 2019 to my wife’s home BRGY. OF PONDOL
I bought a 300 sqm. Coner Lot.
Just STACKING UP MY MONEY to build a nice comfortable home someday.
I’ve always lived in the city but I perfer the country living.
100% agreed. I am only in Lapu-Lapu to accomplish some business goals and philanthropy goals. Getting close to accomplishing them and I will be over to either negros or bohol. I prefer to be isolated
Been there a few times…yes there are many poor,..but everyone will stop and talk to you, help you if they can, and even offer food although they have very little…..they are wonderful people
She is my gf Ai’s former neighbor. I am sponsoring her for her upcoming college plus I gave her options that is up to her to choose. At the end of everything, it’s all her choice
She is an Amazing young lady! Very humble and grateful. She is very deserving of the best life has to offer. God bless her and her family. Thank you for sharing her story and helping her and her family!
they are happier than the western society, and bloggers love to video thier homes and life style. Amazing what god do to show others what a simple life really is. Rich is nothing, its a show off reality of life. People love to see the bad areas or poor areas, and thinking OH! how poor they are, but in reality they are really comfortable and know how to survive…..I admire the will and sacrifice, the people are amazing, and friendly. God Bless
Poverty is not defined in general but by your neighbours and surrounding. For what you need a Ferrari when you dont have streets. It is about social integration and be equal with the others.
Nice of this girl to show you around. You can see she is a little shy and inexperienced but also bold enough to show you around. Simple life but they have food and shelter. Life is good.
It comes down to preference. I like cebu better due to lack of traffic in cebu, lower cost in activities, center of the Philippines (accessibility), etc. Manila has better access to western stuff like panda express or what not. But I feel that I spend and do america 8k miles away. Also don’t like the fact that car services cancel the pick up request because it’ll take them 30 mins to travel a mile to pick you up due to traffic
@Regular Guy hey it’s the regular guy “the FAMOUS Regular guy who did a stream with Bonzo and who met GIO and pee’d On Philly from the Philippines” 😅 I’m still watching your vids very entertaining.
Exploited this Asian American sure knows how to exploit the Filipina who is clearly there to help this Asian American film the poverty in the country.
If anyone can see he’s with another Asian American female, when they go to the scene at the back of the house, I can hear the female say something in their local tongue “Chinese”. Then this content creator agreed and acknowledged by saying “ok”
I just have a few words for this content creator. Why don’t you go to where you’re from and film the slums of America. I know there’s tons of videos you can film there. Another issue that I have for you, I hope you pay your taxes for filming this. Don’t exploit people and their economic misfortune it’s not right. You’re a big fat stooge!
person like you should be banned and deported out of the Philippines, you are painting a negative view on my country, why cant you make vlogs to those homeless in america. Mind your own business.
MASSAGE PARLOR CALL THEMSELVES GOOD GIRLS. IT’S ALL THEY KNOW, SEX WORKERS. DIRTY WOMEN. I KNOW BECAUSE I DATED A LOT OF THEM IN GENERAL AND THEY ARE ALL THE SAME YOU CAN’T CHANGE THEM. THEY BOINK AND SUCK💦 … TILL THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO ANOTHER GUY THEN THEY MOVE IN WITH HIM AND SUCK AND BOINK💦 HIM FOR FREE RENT AND FOOD AND THEY TRY TO SCAM YOU OUT OF EVERYTHING ,POOR
That just gave a wild flashbacks of my younger days back home..but also I just can’t help to wonder how did the video content owner got to take a photo of the girl in underwears and in a looks like a private room..and why..?
Ricardo. Although the background is my room, she and my girlfriend (Ai) was having fun with my dslr camera and trying on beach bikinis that just arrived. This thumbnail photo was selected by Luchelle herself as she appreciates how she looks at the outcome. Her moment of vanity (if my may). My girlfriend (Ai) and she grew up in the same neighborhood. Luchelle also have a video with Ai on her channel (Philippines with Ai) if you want to see it
We were poor at one time with big families in the 50s … the Philippines are hard-working and happy people. The only thing I am worried about is when they have a significant Cyclone in the Philippines.
Thanks for showing us another side of life in the Philippines with dignity and empathy. Life is hard for many Filipinos, but the resilience and friendliness of the people is inspirational.
⚠️ Let’s not white wash this. The town looks like a homeless tent community in the US. Palm trees, young willing girls , and reverence for foreigners and their money doesn’t make it a charming paradise…..except for the foreigners.
I have tried explaining to family and friends that have never been outside of the states how truly blessed many of us are; and just because I have seen it, I cannot fully appreciate their experience. Thank you, for posting this, so that others can catch a small glimpse of what life means.
Here in the United states. We fund the whole world for peace and tranquility. Yet our current administration doesn’t support safety here. They prefer open borders and taxing the middle class. In support of government control and to hell with with human rights.
…………………………….. a few days ago saw a interesting doc about Luxus Houses around the big cities in the planet, some above 1 million dolars each. In 2023 it’s a shame as a human being to such places still exist 😞
your shot here is quite oppresive! featuring a Filipina like that looks like inviting for pornography! i hope respect fills your vlog so not just catch attention!
My heart goes out to these lovely people. God Bless you Lou Shou May. This video made me feel uncomfortable and came across as a bit condescending by your tone and comments, sir.
shes’ beautiful inside and out. STAY AWAY FROM WHITE AMERICAN WOMEN UNTIL THEY THEMSELVES DEMAND TO FIX THE UNFAIR DIVORCE COURTS. LOL @ THEM “I CAN’T FIND A MAN” HAHAHA
I lived like them when I was growing up in the Philippines. Now I’m in the US and will be going back there very soon.
I have big plans for them and with God’s blessing I can be of help. 😊
Nice video to show happy poor people living on basic craft work on a daily basis. But nothing new during the visit: the girl seems to behave like a kid since 23 years, eating candies without brushing her teeth, not able to verbalize any wishes or life considerations.
It’s finally very sad to witness that locals don’t seem to react on their obvious polution/water issues, while it just depends on themselves: it’s their own trash and habits. I don’t see any dignity in this green swamp.
Polio is still ramping in the Phils.
As someone who grew up in poverty this brought back a lot of memories. Often those with the least are the nicest, happiest, most caring, and move giving.
@qadventures 👉🏿I want to move there‼️💝🩷..👉🏿Here in America with the poison water and food, toxic air, racism, cell phone tower, high radiation levels, Americans die early for their ” modern conveniences.. It’s not worth it, living here.😪
That reminds me of how life was for me and my Brothers in the 50’s and 60’s. We had an ice box with ice delivered once every 5 days. And the man would cut the ice from a big block. The woods was our playground and what a wonderful life it would’ve been had we had parents that loved us and cared for us.
I wish that was a recent video because I’m on a platform that I believe would enrich everyone there. As long as they have a cell phone everyone could do it. And I would finance their project.
Lots of kids grow up poor but never know it. Money is not happiness if you do not want what you can’t buy. If you live and play with friends, who could ask for more.
Why isn’t there any violent crime? Why aren’t they slaughtering the people in their own community? The reason I ask is that’s always the excuse we hear in the US.. Because of poverty.
Maybe it’s because they have character and dignity and we’re raised with morals and to respect other people.
Maybe it’s because they haven’t been brainwashed by family, friends and every aspect of society that prey on their victimhood status into believing they’re all victims and because of that they’re entitled to do whatever the hell they want.
I feel so sad for the Philippines. The government is so corrupt and many people have to do unscrupulous things to survive–lie, cheat, steal, prostitute, or some other type of scam. Some eat garbage to survive–pag pag. Every person, especially the government cannot be trusted, law enforcement included. I visited Manilla, Pangasinan, 100 Islands, Baggio City, and Tagaitai. True, there were very nice people but I saw poverty everywhere. We stayed at the Heritage Hotel in Manilla. I went running around the neighborhood at 6:00 in the morning. When I got back to the hotel, I was met by the manager of the hotel. He said, “Don’t go running by yourself around here.” “You’re lucky to be alive.” I said I can handle myself physically with anyone.” His reply? “You can handle the person in front of you but not the 6 or 7 people in the bushes with machetes or even ropes and plastic bags to suffocate you.” Everywhere I ran there were beggars and very minimal “houses” some carboard, some with to tang (metal) roofs, home made shelter. We even came across a White guy in the airport telling us that he had to get his girlfriend out of prison and that it was not a scam. Uh huh, sure it’s not a scam. Very sad. I know that Manny Pacquiao was trying to change the culture of the place but that takes generations and he’s only one man. Heart breaking to see.
Would any westerner want to live like the average Filipino with far less money for many generations? Would they want to live like this for a lifetime? Basically most Filipinos have no choice!
Hi Derek, I really enjoy going out in to the provincial neighborhoods. The people are so genuine. Money can buy possessions but it can’t buy community. I wonder how her father markets his home made furniture? Very sweet girl.
He doesn’t. That’s why I said what I said in my video. Either as much talent in workmanship as they do, they only have 1 domestic client that is, in my opinion, robbing them of their dignity. I hope someone from the west that can find a wholesaler or retailer to place a big order to showcase their art
I’m not sure if the extra work would be worth the reward but those shells can be pulverized into powder and be used in all sorts of ways. They’re almost pure calcium carbonate and most commonly used in soil amendments, but you can use it for anything requiring calcium. Hell you could even put it in a pill tablet and ingest it as a supplement.
Another use is converting them into lime(not the citrus). Burning the shells over a fire is all it takes and is a common way for do it yourself mortar, but that also has multiple uses.
All things considered. Poverty is difficult but it does not excuse the pollution they cause, that bothers me a lot./. There is no excuse or rime or reasoning for it.. Ever.. it is inexcusable period. They could and should clean up their part of the world.. It’s wrong no matter how one looks at it. No excuse for being disgusting.. ignorance is not an excuse for destroying one’s environment. I love their culture and their attitudes and kindness.. But I sure as hell have no love for that trash everywhere.. it drives me crazy to see it and hear the excuses given.
To be clear the peoples idea of or definition of poverty in the United States isn’t the same as the one people have in the Philippines. In reality we don’t have poverty in the US because of our many government give away programs. That’s why so many impoverished people are pouring over our borders. All for the wrong reason. Then to make it worse they bring very little with them in n the form of education, working skills, money or even basic knowledge of our country’s culture, history or laws.
Government aid programs hardly exist in the Philippines. This is why the Filipino rely on family and friends which are often their neighbors too. Just as government reliance has its problems so does reliance on family and friends. I personally prefer smaller government and one that answers to the people. Unfortunately I don’t know where that exists in this age.
These people may be in the situation there in but they are surprising cheerful not bitter or angry neighbors not fighting these girls are friendly and smiling and quite industrious in creating in there own businesses I’m impressed with the attitude of these girls there’s girls in this country who have alot and are still miserable
Great observation. And these people in the community are very motivated and always looking for an opportunity and not just a handout. I will update soon
A simple life that’s not ruled by Permits, Licenses, rules and regulations. We in the west have over regulated the fun out of life, along with adding stress and complications.
At the end of the day, who has the better life?
Her family is doing well. That roof was very nice and new. They have a fridge and a tv 📺; a large fan and a ceiling fan. I think 🤔 they are working hard and should be proud of themselves. I don’t think I would achieve that much in the same environment and with the same opportunities. I haven’t exactly set the world of finance ablaze and I’ve lived in the first world my whole life, so… 🎩 hats 🧢 off to’em. Salute 🫡. Sweet young lady too btw. Lovely ☺️
@Q Adventures you’re quite welcome 🙏🏻 I just made my honest observation. They were too busy weaving furniture 🪑 to stop for the camera 📸. Clearly they are productive and hardworking and skilled. I love the furniture 🪑 btw. Lovely ☺️ folks.
It’s her idea. She felt “pretty” with the turn out of this photo from trying on clothes and photo op fun with Ai and chose this photo herself for the thumbnail.
And yes… I stop by her house to drop off profit sharing from the video to her father.
My 2 cents worth, we can put men and women on the moon and go to Mars but we cannot fix our own problems on earth. What a sweetheart living with really nothing and still happy and smiling wow. I have no answers to the problem only can watch it happen, somehow this must stop Wish I could give every adult $1000.00 right now to help out
Please tell me you have done something, anything, either before or after you left filming their lives that benefited someone in anyway, in any fashion in this community. Or are you still understanding the local culture in hopes of taking action.
Yes, I have in the background. Marylyn is her cousin and neighbor in which I have done the home improvement for. I have delivered profit sharing to her family on a monthly basis as she is the most popular video in my library. Please stay tuned as I will be doing an update for all the people I have crossed paths with. The update will be within the next week
I have a home in Abuyog. I love the Philippines and my little Filipina wife. They are a great people. And yes most live in poverty but they are still happy for what they have. Makes me feel blessed and humble as an American
I met my GF in the province way in the deep jungle the best month I ever had eating fresh food catching fresh fish and cooking in the dirty kitchen yes you do sleep on the floors. When u get back to the states you feel awful because we’re so entitled and spoiled with our modern conveniences
I really don’t understand why pre-contraceptive means are not being used in such squalor conditions. Is it the strict, Catholic beliefs that prevents people from taking any sane decisions?
There are many factors in play. What you put forth is valid but only a small part of it. I recently had a young person who pursued me heavily for help in going back to school and I inquired on whether she was sexually active after many relevant questions beforehand. I was scrutinized mainly by domestic viewers on how I disrespect their culture by talking about safe practices from a young lady who approached me to finance her with her school. That said…. there are many moving parts, but I am not a humanitarian. I only have my heart in philanthropy
Religious Filipinos are like all other religious people of the world. They pick and choose what to follow. They say contraceptives are not allowed by the church. Premarital sex is also not allowed by the church but they choose to ignore that too.
What area is this? It looks lovely. Id very much like to visit and contribute soon. The people really are thriving best they can and smiling while they fight for what they have. Seen most of your videos now but this town and this video is what I come back to most weeks. Your workmanship with this video was perfect.
Hello I was wondering if you could give me a phone number, messenger name or a way to get in touch with this young lady. I would like to help the fam out with $$ 🙂
It is everywhere the same.
Just making children without thinking about them.
They have to live this life. Mostly no prospect of a good education.
I feel pity for them. They so kind and cute.
Some of the things you say in front of the people seems inappropriate. Would you want somebody saying those things about your living contions in front of you on video ?
this remind me to the jungle girls of my country Perú looks very similar
“slim teen girls””
they live in poverty too

Yeah. I am in Subic Bay now. After circling Luzon, I will take ferry from south of Luzon to Leyte and ride Leyte. Keep in contact with me via Messenger. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php/?id=100013812859059. I often miss messages here
Such a sweet young lady. No matter the poverty she glows with an inner flame of humbleness. Those in the West who have it all should learn a few lessons from the Filipinos.
Dude equalized unpaved with miserable…definitions sure are based on perspective. We don’t need much to survive, just oxygen, water, food and love. pretty soon everyone will realize that during the great reset where most will be in a slum. Thanks for sharing this insightful videography, YAH bless!
All you take for granted Americans think about your situation. And this sweet young lady still can smile. 8 people literally living in a tiny thrown together shack. I would rather these foreigners be bordered to us rather than Mexico . Not saying Mexicans are bad but I would much prefer these hard working citizens.
Asian people always have humble soul it the men in government around the world most in all Asian countries make people that they are enemies to the world it why majority race population in united states is Asian people minority race population in America white European immigrants french British etc since 1700 century Asia people came to America 25 thousands years ago from Tibet Siberia Mongolia empire all speak mandarin language in 52 million dialect in Latin script I wonder what this beautiful woman doing now since this video was 3 months ago
American women are mad to passport bros…for choosing asian ladies over them…lol? They are hypocrites putting asian ladies down for using passport bros to come to US. They are hypocrites…if a rich man ask them they will say yes…same as what asian ladies doing…to go with someone who can offer a better life…lol? Btw…asian ladies are pretty, young, sexy, petite, caring and loving.
The young lady showing her home is so shy and seams so sweat and kind hearted. Life is so rough over there for so many people, it is heart breaking. The people are doing the best they can and it is nice that family works together. Thank you sweat girl for showing the creators of this video your home. God our father be with the family and village, in Jesus name, amen
Saved me a trip to this awful place. The extreme poverty touches my heart. I want to scoop up a bunch of little ones, adopt them, and give them a more comfortable and secure life. Jesus said it: The poor will always be with us. Fortunate people, do what you can to help and share your wealth!👍
I hope you tossed some decent money her way mate with no strings attached — to help her and her family out!
In fact for a few hundred US dollars you could have helped her personally with some dental repairs before she loses her teeth as well as what’s left of her confidence.
Seriously mate, we all need to see a dentist from time to time, so take her there and get some basic repairs done!!!!!!
I deliver descent money to her family from time to time from the monetization of her video. The last delivery was 5k pesos (no strings attached) as her video is the best performing video on my channel. She wasn’t home, but her father was brought to tears. She has since got dental work done, not by my doing though. Maybe from the money I delivered to her father
What is the name of the area where this was done in. I’m very curious. In about 18 months I’m retiring and I’m going to be going to the Philippines and see about staying there. And I’m going to spend some time looking around in different places to see about living there, it seems to be peaceful and i love finding new places and exploring new things. And i love fishing.
Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won’t get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government (Jesus who was a The Prophet of God, not God.God will send Jesus as a reward to humanity, if humanity deserves it, for this it is necessary to fight Lucifer and his elite)
Very interesting. That girl is such a sweet girl.
Beautiful in my book. She got my attention immediately.
Many years ago I looked at hundreds of photos of Filipina girls in a magazine called Cherry Blossoms, and found one I thought I loved. I connected with her but it didn’t materialize like I had hoped. It can be risky when you try to fall in love with someone on the other side of the planet. Maybe they’re better off without an American in their life.
If i had the health and wealth, Ruchelle Mai is the girl from the Filipines i would want to meet and marry and bring back to the UK to live, but the irony of ironies, I can’t afford her, or the British version of her, not that I wouldn’t want the ungrateful greedy British version.
Filipina girls are naturally beautiful. They are always happy and smile all the time . Layed back ,nice skin tone . Just lovely people . Give them respect and treat them nice and you have a loyal friend for life . They are good caring people . Long live the Philippines.
Most westerns are so tied up in the materialistic things in life to bring happiness into their life’s. She has the the true riches of life which is the love of family in her heart. ❤
I should ask the philippines authority to look into you floggers because i think the majority of these guy’s are perverts pretending to do good, but if you want to know a person’s behavior just observe their everyday actions and these guy’s are always interviewing, helping and featuring women. I guess there are no men in the Philippines to help. These video’s are used to cover up their perverted intentions, just listen to how they exploit these girl’s with their foolish line of questioning it makes me sick. “No more talk”
When you’re doing all these great videos have you ever caught any disease that is carried by mosquitoes I can only imagine that in the mountains and in those neighborhoods with all that black water all over the place the mosquitoes must be heavy duty transporters
Hi I live in British Columbia Canada, We take our oyster shells and heat them over a fire pit and dry them , and then crush them into a fine powder and put in our gardens for fertilizer . The people there could do the same thing burn old wood or paper and dry the shells and sell the powder to farmers or use it them self. Great show
what a beautiful girl in such circumstances.😔
Very insightful video, Q. As a westerner, it’s easy to take simple things for granted. From the tightly packed living space to seeing her father weave that furniture by hand, it felt good seeing all the smiles from such hardworking and humble people.
Beautiful furniture.
@Q Adventures I agree!
@Q Adventures What town she lives in Cebu please maybe I can take a trip there.
Yes. Mandaue Cebu
@Q Adventureswhere in Mandaue ? Is it close to BTC? Thank you, watching from FLORIDA. Basin kita ko girl here in Mandaue,.. have a nice day.
Eye opening tour. They don’t think nothing of the way it looks. Still happy people. Wow and all they wanted is to see the foreigner and the camera 🎥. 😊
Also very accommodating
Very insightful. My attention was drawn to the construction of the living quarters and the severity of problems that would be caused by a severe storm. Problems a westerner won’t have at home.
Exactly correct. In a severe storm or any kind of disaster, these types of home are the 1st to go
Interesting interview, that helps give more understanding 👍 👏🏿
It what I would expect of filipino living life still. And there’s nothing wrong with it. I like to see it. Would I want to live like that, no. Only if I had to. Mine would be a tent. A step down from there living conditions. If a person has lived like that all their lives, would not miss living in a big house.
Good interview guy
You just made a very good point Eddy
very interesting to see how some of the Filipino’s live there
Sadly… it’s more common that not.
Excellent content my brother… I just subscribed!
Thank you Sass. Much appreciated
My day today https://youtu.be/FEkrM8sw23g
Are you referring to Kensington? LOL, that’s democracy at its best.
My wife didn’t realize she lived in poverty. She thought it was just life and that others had it worse.
interesting vlog but let’s talk about that thumbnail dude 🤩
😉 my gf Ai is still messing with the editing. They were just playing and Luchelle Mae asked me to use this specific photo because she felt pretty
@Q Adventures Well, great camera work and yes..she’s very pretty 😅
I think theres more to this story 😁🤠
@Q Adventures I understand she’s spoken for as of today. Not surprising. I watched the interview on Ai’s channel and WOW she is going to be a great adventure partner in life for anyone. As you visit her often it would be cool if you updated us on how Luchelle gets along. Let’s go!
Funny—-“you have husband “. “How old are you? “Where’s your bf”😂😂😂😂. But no, he wasn’t looking for pussy
Sounds like you need to make a trip here to the phils
That’s 7.500 USD a month! I don’t believe you!
@valmir144 Before tax that’s what I make. All western ladies see that as a bum on welfare income though.
@Anime Starlord i agree with you. i am in the 80s plus. and i am invisible. i have been to ph. entirely different. my philapina is proud to have me.
We can do something, even a little, to help.
Thank you for your thoughtful words James. I DID put a PayPal link on my video for any VOLUNTARY donations
great video BUT take off your shoes when entering someone’s home.
Being Asian myself, I should KNOW that. Thank you for pointing that out
I don’t see poverty,,I see the richest people on the planet
Great perspective. Thank you!!! You just gave me the greatest idea for the next video from the perspective you just pointed out
Thank you for your kind comment.
We may dont have much in our pocket, but we are abundant in our heart.
@Adam Kane hilarious!😂🤣😂👍
I agree!😁👍
@harry eisermann but love will pay our sins❤️🔥
@Danilo Labrador hmmm starvetion not funny, no money no honey..
thats asia
harry eisermann is a too previledged human than asians.. What an ignorance!
Nice people and all happy , I don’t see poverty I see people who are happy with what they have . And she seems like such a sweet girl even she’s abit shy, maybe next time I get near there I will take a look also 😊
100% agreed
Where can I write to that girl? She’s very pretty ❤
Here Donald. Leave your messenger here and she will see it
Good job bro … you have a lot of patience… I just wish in this so called high tech world we prioritized for locations like this with respect to sanitation and water … everybody should have access to a clean environment…
Yes brother. I am in the early phases of learning about my new home environment. I have already taken 1 kid under my wings. More to come, but need to understand the big picture 1st
That’s just everyday life in the Philippines. I would not consider that poverty. I’ve seen places way worse than that. Sad but true.
You’re right. I was just narrating from an outsider perspective. Thank you for the comment
Thank you for chiming in Rafael. Many good points and I am learning from different perspectives
Yes i agree this is not poor, its more like very local. Atleast
They are not homeless like in USA. A first world country with homelessness problem
Father came up to run a check 😄
Good man though. Didn’t mind him running up😉
Did I just hear you utter a partial German sentence: “Das ist die” reality of life in the Philippines? Are you German? I was wondering about that, listening to you.
Oh no… never been to German. English is my 4th language so I might have stuttered something that coincidentally sound like German 😊
You are correct it’s more easier to light a small candle than curse the darkness.
They should learn from people in Myanmar and Thailand.
75 years without communist and war but still dirt poor.
newly subscribed.. I’ve visited PH twice.. I’m fascinated about the Filipino durability and happy demeanor.. I believe they do also have a strong immune system and guts of iron.. I’m 7 months into selling most of my stuff to move there at the end of the year… thanks for filming and posting..
My pleasure. If I my be of any assistance to you in cebu, pls feel free to reach out
@Q Adventures thanks.. I saw you on regular guys video.. my next visit is late June.. plans are to be on Leyte, but if I make it to Cebu I will look you up for sure..
Good luck with your move ! https://youtu.be/FEkrM8sw23g
So sad that Filipinos cannot enjoy a first-world lifestyle.
Some Filipinos do. Ever been to Manila?
Yes. Some…
If you knew how many countries in the world are in a similar situation…
What u think that all filipinos live like that😂. We have very rich people ofcourse more richer than you.
@Q Adventures correct
Great video dude. Its good to show a different side to the Philippines.
Most Filipinos and Filipinas are FANTASTIC people. 💯
And most are scammers.
correct
Hi where is this village located which province and near which nearest city?
Thank you
It’s a section of Mandaue, Cebu closest to the new bridge (to the very north)

It’s Mandaue cebu
@Q Adventures Thanks I’ve just found the channel new subscriber 👍
Thank you for your support, my brother
The crazy thing is that she smiles more than anyAmerican woman I’ve ever met. Such a sweet girl.
@Chochi To Your penis I’m assuming?
I absolutely agree, she and most Filipina girls always smiling 😁
Simple is more happy people think more things will make them happy but free time and family there seem to make them content and happy
So true 😅
they need condom there, look at all the mistakes running around.
Michelle May is a beauty❤
She definitely is… besides being overly shy, her personality shines
@Q Adventures i wsh I could talk with her
Sorry William. She’s spoken for as of this afternoon. 😔
@Q Adventures Awww ….
@Q Adventures by Scotty boy? 😬. Subbed btw…you seem like a good dude. 👍🏻
Where are u based in Philippines?
Lapu-Lapu City JJ. If you need anything like accommodation or bike rental, I have it available. And if you need tourist activities like jetski, parasailing, etc. I got some juice with the locals here in Lapu-Lapu
Residential trash collection is free (provided by the city) everywhere in the Philippines. Littering is just part of the culture.
Something I didn’t know. Thank you for helping me keep informed
Yeah I was surprised to learn that. I just happened to be chatting to someone online there and asked them how their trash collection worked and they said it’s free, they take the bags to a collection point in their neighborhood. I looked online and found the whole country is that way. Makes sense because few would pay for it if it was optional.
They don’t live in the city…
@Lou Mason I’m not sure what your point is, was there one? You do realize he is there with his partner and not picking up girls right?
I’m from Australia (the lucky country, apparently) and I’ve been to the Philippines many times, love the place, the people, the lifestyle and now have many friends there big and small, the kids call me tito or po and I love it and them dearly. The first time I went there I learned exactly what you have commented and it hit me like a train how these beautiful people have next to nothing and maintain such a beautiful attitude, yes we are spoiled rotten and still not happy, cant’ wait to get back there soon, god bless the Plilippines.
@lesb7679 yes. The Philippines takes time to understand. I am still learning after a yr in. Everyday, I am fascinated
I never got to see her in the outfit on the title page 😢 How old is lachel anyways
She’s so hot
And us as Americans don’t relieze how lucky we are❗️ But yet so many Americans you walk by everyday have a frown on there face
She’s 18, Cowboy. the thumbnail was Luchelle’s selection as she felt pretty in this photo that she took while photography each other with my gf Ai.
Eye opening upload. Thanks – have yourself a new subscriber. 😊
I am soooo grateful 🙏
Yes. Family unity is ingrained into the culture here. Haven’t seen a retirement home here uet
Po, her Lola has orders and delivers to the customers. My GFs and staff do the same with fish also.
They are such friendly people.
I went to the Philippines a couple months ago and boy was it a culture shock… But after spending time with the locals I was amazed at how happy they are.. The lives are very simple.. The poverty back there is very sad But they do the best they can It’s an amazing country to visit
@gamhananalanka That was a good read. Thank you for that.
Exactly where are you? Thanks 👍
Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Philippines
@Q Adventures thanks 👍
I would marry Michelle May. She is gorgeous. 😍
This is a perfect example of why I intend to spend a large amount of time in an area like the Philippines when I retire shortly, I would rather spend money there and help those people by doing so, thanks for sharing.
@hotrod3856 yes. And you are not exposed to liabilities in helping others here😊
Let’s put another race in these same circumstances and they would be tearing each other apart with rampant crime and murder (Brazil? others?) What is the secret here? I have been to Tondo and other parts of the Philippines at least 5 times. I am amazed and humbled and return home a better person.
100% agreed. Brought my son here 7 yrs ago when he was 10 and IT humbled him… the Philippines is a magical place for all age, race and backgrounds
Yes. That is very normal Marvin. I am just still in awe as I have only been here since July
🙏🏻
Thank you for your support. Please also view my other vids. 🙏
God bless
is the girl an adult!
Absolutely!!!
absolutely what?
@Lux Shampoo she is absolutely an adult. She and my 27 yr old girlfriend was just trying on make up, outfits and playing with the camera. Luchelle Mae felt pretty in this outfit and suggested I use this photo as my thumbnail as she seldom feel this pretty. I hope the photo did not offend you in any way
it’s fine you made it clear.
*THANKS FOR THE TOUR!*
My pleasure and thank you for your support of my channel. I am grateful
I’d rather live there in the video than live in some violent hood in a major US city.
@Gallowglass please go ahead and do. I would love to see you thrive in that grinding poverty.
The one thing you probably will have is more safety because Filipino’s, despite their struggles, are not out there wildly and blindly shooting at each other.
@Galactic_spectator I’d rather live in a place where people are decent and hard working than in a lawless violent ghetto.
@Gallowglass we all do and should.
However, all the glitters is not gold and esp. not in poor Asian slums.
She’s a baby doll who deserves to be rescued 😊
She’s a human being.
@ILuv Money6767 hey! Don’t be rude
@Q Adventures Is she over 18 years old?
Pple here in the states are in 4 a rude awakening wen SHTF and they will loose all their perks, comfy, consuming-spendrift lifestyles all come crashing and then they will realize that what they see in this vid how important Ph pple’s resourceful, resilient, frugal and most of all (happy) way of living is the Only way 2 survive.
Great perspective. That’s why I left Los Angeles. I chose to be happy
Where is this on the map?
I just got back from the Philippines
Mandaue, Cebu. Right by the new bridge
I just saw Luchelle on The Regular Guy channel.
Yes. She has a great personality. Regular Guy is a guest in my home. Tune in to Philippines With Ai to see Luchelle’s very 1st interview
@Q Adventures Thanks for spelling her name.
At least if they lose their jobs the bank can not take away their homes they worked for for 30 years like in the USA 🙂 Always something positive ! peace.
Another perspective that I am grateful for
This is much better than being homeless on the American City streets come and see the catastrophic homelessness in Phoenix AZ where I live !!!!! Veterans who served in the United States military living on the streets.
Thank U for showing us this. 🤔
My blessings to Lucielle (hope spelled name right). Wish you the best in life sweetie!
Or collect rent in the west to support your lifestyle here🫶
Very good informative video. One day would live to visit
I will update my “about” tab with all my contact info
@Q Adventures Please send me her cell number I’m living in Dumaguete would like to meet her.
Great video my brother!
Thank your for your support. I am grateful
Hi new subcriber. I’ll like to help her some do she has a Facebook to get a hold of her and if she has a gcash..
Let me inquire with her. She doesn’t even have a phone, but I will inquire to explore options. Thank you for being proactive
@Q Adventures ok thanks
Great video Derick ! Very interesting to see. The Filipino people are always amazing because they are happy with what they have .
Wow!
Good video.
As far as the trash they could burn it instead of throwing it in the water. I lived in the Philippines for 5 years and I seen so much.
Certain stuff are not flammable
I would gladly move there..
We will gladly have you
I grew up in similar circumstances, the only big difference was cold and damp, climate, vs Philippines hot and muggy
The river had to stink, given the rotting garbage, humidity n heat.
Cold and damp, vs hot n humid, there both miserable when not being able to protect one self from the element’s
I hope your circumstances are much better now
wow…that is so sad , how many people there actually have to live like that due to their circumstances…very sad, it makes one speechless, thanks for the video
Typhoons and the rainy season has to be detrimental to this community.
Still recovering from Odette
Great video. Love your attitude and how polite you are with the locals.
Thank you. I had great hosts😊
Very nice video depicting life of the average filipino. I always enjoy seeing videos of people who have so little but still have a positive outlook on life. Always keeps me grounded and makes me remember my humble beginnings as well
Good people
The foreigners have always known the country has a lot of poor.
Dang…
Bro could have taken shoes off before entering their place. Lol
Yeah. That was my bad
Yeah…😔
These are a beautiful proud people, who’s government has forgotten them , it’s really upsetting
America isn’t much different, thanks Mr Biden & Mrs kamila
It takes a trumper cultist to say what you said. Deep poverty has been a hidden feature of America for more than 200 years. Its entrenchment in American life has outlasted every political party since this country was founded.
I’d give anything to be happy there , any day to be successful American man 48 years old alethic built fit in America here , there beautiful & kind , thanks for sharing
It’s just a flight away. I am 3 yrs your junior and I’m here. If you want it enough, you will make a path for yourself
🥰She Is Beautiful And Stunning 🥰
Yeah she is captivating
Very simple life. I would love to visit for 1 year just to relax.
Hi Michelle. Have a nice day
Great video of the local Filipino neighborhood and livelihood of making chairs. One thing I just want to point out to Foreigners. When you enter a Filipino house if you see footwear left outside the door. That means you too should take your shoes off to show respect to the family.
hope you gave your tour host a few pesos
More than “a few”. I share my monetization with them
So nice to see this.
Buy and support these people. They can live on 5,000 pesos a month.. Which is 100$ USA . When I left 4 years ago I took 5 families food shopping.
That’s so cool. I’m sponsoring young adults with an open mind to learn and get out of their comfort zone
She keeps covering her face.
She’s shy
Good Video 😊
Thank you Ricky. Please indulge in my other videos🙏
That young lady is maganda!! 😍😍
@Q Adventures
being a content creator isn’t easy boss good luck keep it coming
Not easy at all. Thank you for being a supporter
@Q Adventures Roger that
I cant tell you how much I like the “average” simple girl there. So refreshing. They are just pleasant to be around.
You have no idea. The very fact that they don’t bug you with the newest iPhone, Gucci this and Prada that. Just happy and natural the way they are
@Q Adventures Actually I do know.
It’s sickening and soul crushing to not be there when I know how they are over there.
I am doing everything I can to take longer trips, live there part time and ideally, never come back.
Thanks for the videos.
You are living the dream.
@Johnnybetrading if I can contribute to your goal, pls don’t hesitate
This house has a TV and Frigidaire. Many have just ice boxes that hold ice only . No fridge . The CR / bathroom is outside. Mainly no hot water , Well Water Only..
You are absolutely correct. Great points
Such very lovely people. My heart goes out to them. Life is not easy for them and for many there isn’t much opportunity. Wishing them blessings. ❤
Beautiful people love all of them 💗😘
The road looks way better than what’s left of the streets in East St Louis Illinois.
I feel you… my son’s mother lived in the heart of downtown LA during the pandemic. I seen and experienced the worst
@Q Adventures Hi Q,
East St Louis Illinois use to be an All American City. The town epitomizes the decline of the United States. On the other hand the Philippines is in the process of making life better for their people.
The demographics in American cities are the reason
Good job for showing the reality of the Philippines, the people despite the situation here Philipinos are always smiling and friendly
These girls are sweet, humble and so feminine…. Damn…didn’t know women like this were still in production, lol, gotta find me a wife there…
Philippines always welcomes you. I also have all the resources you need to be comfortable and productive here if you need me.
I’m seriously considering it bro, you may soon hear from me.
Yup, we were so poor back in those days we only had _two_ genders…
No amount of money can buy that kind of community and contentment with life. I envy them while wishing them a better living standard.
Thanks for a nice video
My pleasure. Thank you for your support
And we complain in the West when we cant get the latest I Phone for a Thousand USD,,they have so little yet remain happy..
Yes. It is humbling here
the best nations to live in are…….the nations with the most fundamental bible-belief culture,,,,,,,,,like usa 200 years ago………..the Bill of Rights were derived from men who learned literacy using the bible as their textbook.
👍🍻😇🙏🏽
Been there many years from the early 80’s to 2023 and have seen one end to the other, I will be moving there in the next few years after retirement I at least know some tagalog and can get by
Flipinos I think are one of humble people on Earth and have one of most beautiful ladies I’m world
She is lovely
Poverty in the USA..BIDEN ADMINISTRATION..AMERiCA WEAKENED WITH OPEN BORDERS DEFUND THE POLICE HOMELESSNESS INSANE CRIME SPIKE LIBERAL STATES..👈🫡🫡🫡🇵🇭
great job Q!
Proof that possessions don’t make you happy!
So true
@Stu B They can disinguish between what they want and what they need.Your correct.
Curious why out of so many images you could have choose as cover of the video you choose the girl in bikini, a beach or pool is not in any moment part of your video. In a country known for sexual exploitation that doesn’t seem appropriated. It just for the views? You could have done better.
Please view my most recent video to answer that precise question
Why is the thumbnail a picture of the young girl in her underwear or bathing suit? Why do you have this image? This looks like you took advantage of this young girl in between your posting how poor she and her family are.
She and my gf were trying on newly arrived beach bikinis, taking photos and having fun. It was HER choice to use this photo as a thumbnail because she was proud of her vanity in this specific photo. My next video has a photo of my gf in a bikini top next to me that SHE feels proud of.
@Q Adventures OK sorry you seem like you are on the up and up.
No worries. I just wanted to clarify the situation on hand
Terrible, really sad to see. As bad as rural Cuba. Thank you for enlightening me. I will have to visit there and experience their hospitality.
I agree to an extent. But these folks are the most joyous, humble and friendly people I have ever experienced
Kick uncle Sam out.
Since last July, I did😁
Poverty is definitely a big problem in the philippines. Many businesses are coming back now and that will help but so many there need help.
I agree. Speaking for myself, I am doing my best by investing my time, effort and YouTube income to help 1 at a time
@Q Adventures when I get back there I may contact you about one of your rooms. After seeing scotts review the place it may be what Im looking for until I decide what my future will be. Keep up the good work.👍
She’s a beautiful pinay with a good heart. I pray someone doesn’t destroy it.
100% agreed. I can NEVER understand road rage back home. What is so important?!?! But here I am now and 100% on board to contribute
Give them something dude !
Did you see any of my philanthropy videos? I also offered her support for college. Didn’t wanna flex on cam. I’m doing some letting Jay. No worries. I’m trying to understand 1st so I don’t over commit

She is so beautiful, looks like not only outside but inside, too. So beautiful. The beauty of a Filipina.
Indeed. 10 x after the camera is off. Super genuine
The phils is for sure not a cookie cutter and has characters.
. . you have a very noble posting window here in seeing the other worldly soil of reality and resilience of the Third World.
I can see the depth poetry of the Desiderata in all your narrative.
.
.
Thank you a million. I know at some point… something will get misinterpreted but I will try my best to prevent that and continue my efforts
She’s beautiful !!!
yep, lots of roosters. just like I remember it. (bone meal powder should give your body some more calcium [take magnesium, it needs to go with calcium] might help your teeth. less acidic food will be better for your teeth, less carbohydrates like rice would be better. shes VERY beautiful though. the modern western diet fucks up alot of things, and most people dont know it yet.)
i havent had shucked oysters yet. my mom has tried it though.
Probably not in the Philippines. The locals developed an immunity and strong stomach for that but best be careful with stuff you ingest…
Hi….
If i take her put new teeth ,boobs ,nice clothes ,she can be a model and marry many rich guys. I can take her any day and be proud
these poor people need to start aborting… the kids are sucha burden and cause poverty…. at best these people can become a maid in dubai
Michelle is shy but lovely. Best wishes to her and her family and her neighbors.
No link to… “Ice” ???
When I visited cebu saw a lot of this but the people were friendly and polite
The very proof that money doesn’t necessarily equate to happiness
The girl in the green shirt is pretty.😉
I’m sorry you had such experiences.
I have no connections to the Philippines besides being in the refugee camp in Bataan back in 86/87
@Q Adventures Thank you for the reply.
That’s a pretty girl You have to understand Everything is not like it is in the West is so exmessage The West is so expensive In the Philippines you just have to adjust to that way of living
Yes Darrell. For me, it’s not much of adjustment. I hit the ground running. Maybe my mid age has something to do with it
Great video. Makes one appreciate what they have. Thanks.
She is pretty!!!
Where is this place exactly ??? I want to helo
It’s in mandaue cebu
That’s what I meant. I offer my free labor for an opportunity to learn and pass on the knowledge in the Philippines to benefit local communities here
Filipinos can be shy but they are some of the most loving women in the world . I love being retired here with my beautiful Filipino woman.
So I didn’t catch where in the Philippines is this.
Mandaue l, Cebu.. right across from the “new bridge” to the north
very interesting look at arural village. what is the name again? Thanks for your channel!
surprisingly… this is NOT a rural village. This is a suburb of a mega city Mandaue, Cebu.
I would love to marry a Filipino woman and give her a good life in America. What is the best way to meet one? Thanks 👍
By being here, you’ll be well received and women approach YOU. I do not recommend online dating. Too many fake profiles and scamming activities
@Q Adventures Okay Thank you 😊
@Roy Erikson man you just have to go. it will be an experiance of a lifetime. dont worry about the detaials to much. because once you get there everything you know will be different. just go.
@Q Adventures she is a stunner. Wow!!!
What’s with the thumbnail, pervert?
That was a real eye opener. Thank you for your video.
Thank you for tuning in
Philippines people are the best, but poverty is a huge problem, so even a bad marriage or relationship is easy to handle if you are not hungry
i am indian i have meet few very good fhilipino is singapore they are good people love phillipines maganda country
I also see many Indian tourists here and shared a few chit chats with them. I see how genuinely appreciative the Indian tourists are of the Philippines
thank you for appreciating the value of this video
I admire how they don’t have much but still have a happy smile and heart. Love to chat with a local about maybe some simple things that might help improve their town and sanitation issues.
for about $100 here, you can have a feast with the community and gain their instant attention and appreciation of your gesture. you will sit with them as long as you wish and their entire attention will be on you.
I will happily pay for a community feast and do what i can to improve the young lady in the videos fam and wider community. Do you have a way i could contact her please mate 🙂
Sorry. I don’t share contact information on my channel
The girl in the green top is beautiful. Sweet demeanor and smiling, something of a rarity in the US.
she WAS a sweetheart. sooo approachable.
Great video, thanks for explaining the activities there
I love the genuine Filipino culture 😅
Beautiful lady. I would marry her easier.
Hey, when you were talking to that cute 23 year old with the son, I wanted to tell you to keep your eyes on the road
Maybe take the shells back to the ocean?! Sweet young lady. Inquisitive village. I can see myself visiting there. Id bring things from my home state to give to the kids. Where was this again?
It’s Mandaue, Cebu, Jeff
Is
it possible I can chat with Michelle Mae? I’ve seen these neighborhoods with my own eyes. 3 trips so far.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a phone. Ai contacts her through her auntie
@Q Adventures How do I contact her Auntie? I just got scammed by a 3 yr relationship, 3 weeks before she was to come here on a K-1 Visa. Feeling like broken man.
I just stumbled onto your channel this morning. with your tour with Luchelle May.
Thank you for your support, Telford
Shes so pretty.
I’d like to stay the day there and have some lunch or dinner with the locals; get a pig and have a party.
I highly encourage that to feel the locals’ full appreciation and positive energy. I am buying 2 live goats at just about $30 a piece and a few ducks to feast with the locals within my community. just giving back a little
Thanks for sharing an excellent video. 👍 🇵🇭
You are right. Thank you for that perspective
if you dont see poverty here, you are part of the problem. obviously, they dont live there for the lifestyle lmao
G’d pm kuya derek thankyou for visiting us keepsafes❤️
It was my pleasure
Wow thanks for this reveal.
This guy is disgusting.
Have some respect.
Your comments are degrading.
People live like this all over the world.
No need to talk like they’re freak show.
I will pray too the lord for both of you too make things better for and your family may God bless you.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Didnt She Interview With “Regular Guy”… The Canadian… Who Spent 20 Years Teaching In Korea…
Yes she did.
She is *Lovely*
Wish she was in her early forties 😌👰♀️🥰
Yeah. She’s young
wow! the women in the green is beautiful. im Filipino American. i am look for a partner. is ahe single?
I think she is, but I cannot play matcher to connect the 2 of you as I find this simple kind gesture is highly illegal here
Absolute proof that “things” alone don’t create happiness. After living in the Philippines for 3 years, I observed this inner happiness myself among all Filipinos regardless of wealth or lack thereof. It’s a beautiful country filled with beautiful souls. 😊 ❤️
I am absorbing the culture little by little and learning daily, myself. Thank yoy Wesley
@wheelsalwaysturning3544 – True, but I think it’s more about their nature than anything. They’s just a happy people, like here in Cambodia.
In the United States 🇺🇸 looking for teachers. , nursing or any one in medical field
She seems so sweet and beautiful
10 folds in person😁
This girl gets two different YouTubers a tour of the same thing. I saw her and her family on The Regular Guy channel.
Yes I had the honor of meeting her via Derek’s gf I’m not sure what she is looking to get out of it. On AI’s channel she said she wants to marry a foreigner
Thank you for the rebuttal, my friend
You can tell how it made them feel when you went on a rant about how it smelled. Couthe is a dying word. 🙁
It’s hard to believe people live like this in these days. They don’t have a lot but are still happy and grateful for the life they have. I love the Philippines and the people are so friendly and helpful. I hope to be back there soon
Yes Michael. Gratefulness is the key word
@Q Adventures absolutely 👍
She looks just like a girl that I saw leading a tour on another channel.
She probably is
New Subscriber….
Been there a few times…yes there are many poor,..but everyone will stop and talk to you, help you if they can, and even offer food although they have very little…..they are wonderful people
They are, Jake. They They have no expectations. That’s what I love. The purity of intwntions
I hope you gave her some money. I hope some predators dont ruin that girl.
She is my gf Ai’s former neighbor. I am sponsoring her for her upcoming college plus I gave her options that is up to her to choose. At the end of everything, it’s all her choice
Text me when you get this message so I can get to know you better.jay
she is lovely
She is an Amazing young lady! Very humble and grateful. She is very deserving of the best life has to offer. God bless her and her family. Thank you for sharing her story and helping her and her family!
Thank you for the very kind words
and her monkey too!
All very beautiful people 🙏🏼
Thank you for such kind words, JC
they are happier than the western society, and bloggers love to video thier homes and life style. God Bless
Yes. People watch and have their interpretation. I do feature it with the intention of showing happiness doesn’t necessarily mean money
Despite the poverty, everyone seems to be well kept ,clean and so freindly
Natural beauty and charm. I would love to go back to the P.I. but now I’m too old for a girl like that.
She probably doesn’t care about age
Possibly
PI is great. There are other suitors if you prefer more mature
I really wanted to meet that same girl who were in green top.
Bro, I can give my email for some serious talk.
Do you want to marry her?
Love From Bangladesh 💚💚❤️🇧🇩❤️💚💚
Every Filipina moves their hair and puts their hand in front of their face the same way. Annoying.
You seen one you seen them all.
God bless these ppl. May God bless them all
What’s up with the thumbnail for this video??
Why did you click it? 😅
Poverty is not defined in general but by your neighbours and surrounding. For what you need a Ferrari when you dont have streets. It is about social integration and be equal with the others.
New subscriber. What a great people. She’s adorable. Is she looking for an American husband? American women are so ungrateful and dishonest.
Watch her “about” video. @philippineswithai
@Q Adventures I will,gladly, but how?
Use this link… https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JsppsV3edLQ
New subscriber.
Sweet gal we will all be poor soon
Filipino’s can make sheet taste good. Love them dearly and a Filipina has no competition in the world….
Trash or sewerage
Sewerage?
The reason she doesn’t smile more I think she has some bad teeth.
Nice of this girl to show you around. You can see she is a little shy and inexperienced but also bold enough to show you around. Simple life but they have food and shelter. Life is good.
This video was as shocking as it was wonderful, keep up posting!
Greetings from Thailand, Flori
Thank you for such supportive words, Flori
where’s the ACTION Q???
🤣 give suggestions for my next vid
Great video. Did you compensate them for their time? It may seem like poverty to some, but it is normal for them. Simple life, happy life.
You are so right
I’d hope so
It’s crazy how happy they are despite their living condition, the true resilience of the Filipino culture…
Crushed oyster shells here in Vegas sells for $20 bucks per 50 lbs. In the Philippines, it basically is littered everywhere…
It’s the norm when we grow up in whatever environment. Then some progress in life and the norm elevates to atv’s that are used twice a yr, 4 cars, etc
Ill be in Manila August 1st
Cool!!! Let me know if I can assist with anything in Cebu. Not so in Manila
@Q Adventures which is better?
@Q Adventures so cebu is better? Lol you have telegram? I would love to talk
A lot of these girls work on chat apps like honey cam. Its sad
Not this 1, but thanks for sharing
That was good
https://youtube.com/@streetlifephilippines
What a sweet girl. I think I’m doing my research in the wrong library..🤔
Beautiful people,…have subscribed 👍🇬🇧
People calling this poverty but in the United States poverty is much uglier.
You are right
where was this video taken?
Mandaue Cebu
@Q Adventures thank you. i just subscribed. thanks for quick response,
My pleasure. And thank you foe the support
This why I am proud to be a Filipino!
You SHOULD be VERY 👏
Poor Filipinos will give you the shirt off their back and the food off their plate (if they have any), such lovely people.
I just saw this same person in the Regular Guy’s Channel (Scotty Boy). Thanks for sharing job well done.
Yes. Scottie Boy is a good friend
@3:50 “you’re cute, you have husband?” Ok bye 😅
Baby daddy… half drunk, sorry
@Q Adventures it’s a pinoy guy?
Yes. I did a video in the blue box house. The dude that tour me the house is the father
@Q Adventures this tour is on a past video?
@Regular Guy hey it’s the regular guy “the FAMOUS Regular guy who did a stream with Bonzo and who met GIO and pee’d On Philly from the Philippines” 😅 I’m still watching your vids very entertaining.
What a wonderful, lovely people. And the women are so very feminine and sweet!
Your observations are all correct
@Q Adventures Well thank you! I try my best 🙂
MICHELL IS COOL, HER STYLE IS GREAT.
She is great
YES
Can’t blame them for wanting a better life.
What a beautiful, humble and mature young woman. Well raised by a family within a tight knit community.
person like you should be banned and deported out of the Philippines, you are painting a negative view on my country, why cant you make vlogs to those homeless in america.
Luchelle also have a video with Ai on her channel (Philippines with Ai) if you want to see it
dang she’s not bad looking
A beaut.
I have nothing but respect and love for the filipino people and culture, James.
Top video mate
It went somewhat viral. But not my other videos. Head scratcher. 😁
I’m single! Can marry and come with me on k1 visa
Wrong site bro
And that blue upstairs box at 3:21? Is someone’s house.
It sure is…
is she your GF yet?
No. She’s my gf’s friend
Thanks. Amasing
⚠️ Let’s not white wash this. The town looks like a homeless tent community in the US. Palm trees, young willing girls , and reverence for foreigners and their money doesn’t make it a charming paradise…..except for the foreigners.
Thank you ❤❤❤ from new Zealand, there all happy . Choice
Thank you for your support Dave
I have tried explaining to family and friends that have never been outside of the states how truly blessed many of us are; and just because I have seen it, I cannot fully appreciate their experience. Thank you, for posting this, so that others can catch a small glimpse of what life means.
OMG!!! Thank you so very much. Those words are so encouraging
The real question is: Do you look like a walking ATM to women?
What country are you not a “walking ATM” to an extent? The man that is a “walking atm” in any country is his own fault for allowing it
Great country to find a beautiful, caring, respectful and loving wife!!! For real
Q are you not from there??
No. Born in Vietnam to Chinese parents and grew up in Los Angeles
@Q Adventures Thank you…
😉😉😘😘😊😊😎
Here in the United states. We fund the whole world for peace and tranquility. Yet our current administration doesn’t support safety here. They prefer open borders and taxing the middle class. In support of government control and to hell with with human rights.
Huh??? Not sure how you got all that from this video. Headscratcher…
What a beautiful girl that looks content and happy in life
I’m going to go over there and open up a dentist office
Excellent for you
Wow. A Word without Material Possessions. Perish the thought!
Bad can happen anywhere. I was scam by a woman in the United States. Bad people are everywhere, we live in a fallen world.
100% agreed. You will love my next video that I will release tonight entitled “Humbling Mountain Community Tour”
…………………………….. a few days ago saw a interesting doc about Luxus Houses around the big cities in the planet, some above 1 million dolars each. In 2023 it’s a shame as a human being to such places still exist 😞
I’m afraid still too many
I wana pay to fix her teeth $$$
your shot here is quite oppresive! featuring a Filipina like that looks like inviting for pornography! i hope respect fills your vlog so not just catch attention!
I try make my daughter feel blessed and happy for the regular gifts in life like a roof over her head, food, etc….
I brought my son here a while back when he was 10. My son went home humbled
I wouldn’t feel comfortable filming those ppl at all lol. Hopefully some good came of it
Yes. I understand your position. I have my figures crossed also
My heart goes out to these lovely people. God Bless you Lou Shou May. This video made me feel uncomfortable and came across as a bit condescending by your tone and comments, sir.
That’s not the intention but you are entitled to your opinion
I like the girl she’s very nice and pretty what is her full name?
Sorry Michael. I really appreciate your support of my channel. However, I will not be able to share personal information of my guests.
shes’ beautiful inside and out. STAY AWAY FROM WHITE AMERICAN WOMEN UNTIL THEY THEMSELVES DEMAND TO FIX THE UNFAIR DIVORCE COURTS. LOL @ THEM “I CAN’T FIND A MAN” HAHAHA
Great tour and such wonderful people!
I lived like them when I was growing up in the Philippines. Now I’m in the US and will be going back there very soon.
I have big plans for them and with God’s blessing I can be of help. 😊
If you need a partner, I am very open. The Philippines is very deserving of every ounce of kindness
I appreciate your comment. As positive as I want to be, all you said are not false.
FAN UP THE FAT FOREIGNER!!!
lol, what a kind people. ☺️
As someone who grew up in poverty this brought back a lot of memories. Often those with the least are the nicest, happiest, most caring, and move giving.
Thank you for sharing something so personal and relatable
Beautiful people! I love you all and the best is coming to you! We’re almost there! ❤
Thank you for the positivity

Yes. Living it
@qadventures 👉🏿I want to move there‼️💝🩷..👉🏿Here in America with the poison water and food, toxic air, racism, cell phone tower, high radiation levels, Americans die early for their ” modern conveniences.. It’s not worth it, living here.😪
The struggle is real
That reminds me of how life was for me and my Brothers in the 50’s and 60’s. We had an ice box with ice delivered once every 5 days. And the man would cut the ice from a big block. The woods was our playground and what a wonderful life it would’ve been had we had parents that loved us and cared for us.
That’s how it is here now
Cool video
I wish that was a recent video because I’m on a platform that I believe would enrich everyone there. As long as they have a cell phone everyone could do it. And I would finance their project.
Their situation hasn’t changed. Let’s heat it
Exploiting is BAD NEWS
@A B-C Exploiting ? How do you come to that conclusion?
Lots of kids grow up poor but never know it. Money is not happiness if you do not want what you can’t buy. If you live and play with friends, who could ask for more.
Well said. I grew up poor also
Reminds me of home in Jamaica
I lived like this for 6 months also back in ’86 in a refugee camp
@Q Adventures Makes you appreciate everyhting else in life tbh
That’s why I’m here. To be humbled
Given the chance I’d sort this out/give them a chance and new life..
No one wants to look like a creep though!! ☯️🏴🇬🇧
I really appreciate your kind heart. But from my observation, I feel the locals appreciate access to tools over the idea of being “rescued”.
Is the crying baby following you. ??
No. But the mother that was holding the crying baby was…
@Q Adventures oh my god. You got me with that 1
there are many fans…..
👍👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
Yeah, I’m helping a family over there. What’s the name of the girl? She has to be called fix-hair.
Luchelle
Why isn’t there any violent crime? Why aren’t they slaughtering the people in their own community? The reason I ask is that’s always the excuse we hear in the US.. Because of poverty.
Maybe it’s because they have character and dignity and we’re raised with morals and to respect other people.
Maybe it’s because they haven’t been brainwashed by family, friends and every aspect of society that prey on their victimhood status into believing they’re all victims and because of that they’re entitled to do whatever the hell they want.
Maybe its all of the above.
That’s just a guess.
All valid points. I don’t know the answer, of course, but I left the California behind and this is me now
I feel so sad for the Philippines.
Crazy
The worst was kids having kids (extremely young mothers) and seeing kids living on the streets. Gave me nightmares for many nights.
Women in the states are so spoiled
That’s why most of us jumped ship
She is absolutely beautiful!
Its quiet obvious that she is embarrassed about her teeth
Where was this brgy?
Labogon
Why do you lie. I’ve seen. YouTuber BWC there. You are not the only foriener that’s she has meet. Anything for a $$$ right
Would any westerner want to live like the average Filipino with far less money for many generations? Would they want to live like this for a lifetime? Basically most Filipinos have no choice!
@Q Adventures using my critical thinking skills.
23 is not “so young” to have a son.
She has a cute body. I would marry her
Philippines 🇵🇭 🐊 🦈 🐍 are awesome ❤️ 💞 💝
All day, every day!!!
Pretty😍
My dude. You sound like you’re from Hawaii.
Nah. LA. Growing up, I have a large group of diverse friends. When I hear an accent that fascinates me, I emulate it and it sticks🤣
ahahahaha gng sign=??? That was funny..
Yeah. I was messing with the kid
Micheele very beautiful. Thank her for being part of the video.
I do every time I see her. Just shared a portion of revenue generated by this video to her family 2 days ago. Her father teared up
Hi Derek, I really enjoy going out in to the provincial neighborhoods.
She’s cute!
Town looks nice, can see ppl take pride!❤
They are not jaded and content with what they have👍😊
Is she single?
Ironically American men can’t find good wives because they want so much these girls would be great
She’s so beautiful and amazing and adorable❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All that and more🙏
These women are way better than American cows
They are lovely in attitude, culture, respect and much more

I’m not sure if the extra work would be worth the reward but those shells can be pulverized into powder and be used in all sorts of ways. They’re almost pure calcium carbonate and most commonly used in soil amendments, but you can use it for anything requiring calcium. Hell you could even put it in a pill tablet and ingest it as a supplement.
Another use is converting them into lime(not the citrus). Burning the shells over a fire is all it takes and is a common way for do it yourself mortar, but that also has multiple uses.
It’s way of my area of comprehension. I was hoping viewers/subscribers like yourself see a value in stuff I missed and make something with it together
That’s reasonable. Is there a reasonable solution? Would be more than happy to be involved. Not spearheaded, but involved
shes a keeper. Add in some dental work and she more than qualfiies for gf material
Does she need a dentist to help her fix those teeth ?
She needs the finances to pay for the dentist
Where in the Philippines is this?
The province? I love their hospitality!
I plan to retire there soon and that might be the place 😊
This is just in Mandaue Cebu
Awesome Man, I love how you interact. GOOD job.
Thank you kindly🙏
Thank you for the nice videos I’m going to Manila in August for 3 weeks GOD BLESS YOU 🙏🙏
You will have fun😊🫶
Awesome wish I had one
I was there in ’98. Brought sand to the beach!
I should’ve stayed.
The mangoes are fantastic!
I agree. You should have stayed. I encourage you to come back if you can
To be clear the peoples idea of or definition of poverty in the United States isn’t the same as the one people have in the Philippines.
Less is more.. Great vid..one day soon
Thank you John. Hopefully sooner than later
@Q Adventures subscribed / Greatly appreciated
you really need to put down the smokes brother
Yeah. I’m in the process of kicking the habit now
Is there a way to donate to the people in poverty where the money actually gets to them and not to the people it isn’t meant for?
Not through my channel, no. My donors donate to my channel in good faith and support of my work. I am an individual and not a charitable organization
Pollution health hazard
Unfortunately, that’s their reality
❤❤
What gets me is living in this shanty town in a place wheee there’s a Cyclone every month or two
Great Video! TY! I enjoy seeing this side of the world!
Thank you very much👍🫶
You are absolutely right!
Lovely ☺️
Thank you for such a positive feedback
@Q Adventures you’re quite welcome 🙏🏻 I just made my honest observation. They were too busy weaving furniture 🪑 to stop for the camera 📸. Clearly they are productive and hardworking and skilled. I love the furniture 🪑 btw. Lovely ☺️ folks.
Rochelle seems to have mislaid her top and shorts for the thumbnail.
I wonder whose idea that was ? 🙄
Anyway it clearly worked – 270,000 views and counting and by far the most viewed video on your whole channel.
Hopefully you cut her in on some of that sweet youtube ad sense revenue and didn’t just exploit her.
It’s her idea. She felt “pretty” with the turn out of this photo from trying on clothes and photo op fun with Ai and chose this photo herself for the thumbnail.
And yes… I stop by her house to drop off profit sharing from the video to her father.
Very relevant comments. I appreciate you
id love to bring her home legally of course
My 2 cents worth, we can put men and women on the moon and go to Mars but we cannot fix our own problems on earth. What a sweetheart living with really nothing and still happy and smiling wow. I have no answers to the problem only can watch it happen, somehow this must stop Wish I could give every adult $1000.00 right now to help out
Being rich depends on how you measure your wealth.
the BAMBOO bench would fetch $800 – 1000 US DOLLARS
Yeah. But shipping costs will exceed that shipping 1 item at a time
@Q Adventures their quality of craftsmanship is remarkable – –
Please tell me you have done something, anything, either before or after you left filming their lives that benefited someone in anyway, in any fashion in this community. Or are you still understanding the local culture in hopes of taking action.
Yes, I have in the background. Marylyn is her cousin and neighbor in which I have done the home improvement for. I have delivered profit sharing to her family on a monthly basis as she is the most popular video in my library. Please stay tuned as I will be doing an update for all the people I have crossed paths with. The update will be within the next week
@Q Adventures Excellent!
Who clicked the video because of the thumbnail picture?
DON”T LAUGH …. PHIL????
Absolutely wonderful beautiful people” god bless each and everyone
Very kind hearted people
Attitude is everything As proved in your video..But one cannot just ignore that poverty..and no sewage control..
Although it’s a major concern, the locals have different prioritization than us due to the need of simply putting food on the table
I’ve living on mindoro for the past 8 months, during that time I’ve had 3 gf’s (all under 26yrs).
Got used for money by all.
Sorry to hear that.
@Q Adventures it’s whores from now on.
I have a home in Abuyog. I love the Philippines and my little Filipina wife. They are a great people. And yes most live in poverty but they are still happy for what they have. Makes me feel blessed and humble as an American
Lovely people and culture ❤️
I love her❤❤❤❤
@Q Adventures want a wife
So sad to see such good people living in poverty. 😔🙏 Thank you for sharing this. It makes me appreciate how good I really have it
It is humbling
Nice video giving a Filipina a chance. Good guy……………….
I try to be
Heart breaking
I met my GF in the province way in the deep jungle the best month I ever had eating fresh food catching fresh fish and cooking in the dirty kitchen yes you do sleep on the floors. When u get back to the states you feel awful because we’re so entitled and spoiled with our modern conveniences
Yeah. Most people who have been bitten by the “Philippines Bug” go home to the west humbled and inspired.
She is such a sweet soul. I love her smile.
I wonder how it smells there….🤢
pls help rehza bazar caducoy from her husband gouresh goa she need help
Sorry, sounds like a law enforcement issue
Looks like she’s the result of some inbreeding going on …those teeth are a dead giveaway.
Such a lovely young lady. My heart breaks that she doesn’t have someone to pay for dental care; it would add such beauty to her.
She had some restoration and extraction work done since the video was posted🙏
@Q Adventures That is such great news!
Go to Ikea in Manila and market the furniture…
What area is this? It looks lovely. Id very much like to visit and contribute soon. The people really are thriving best they can and smiling while they fight for what they have. Seen most of your videos now but this town and this video is what I come back to most weeks. Your workmanship with this video was perfect.
Mandaue. And very noble thoughts of you
Hello I was wondering if you could give me a phone number, messenger name or a way to get in touch with this young lady. I would like to help the fam out with $$ 🙂
Give me her contact details please po . I’ll give her $ to have her teeth fixed (if she wants)and some to help the fam out.
But you don’t look like a foreigner.
What does a foreigner look like?
@Q Adventures that depends where in the world you are. In the Philippines, you look like a local.
👍From Los Angeles. Chinese descent
@Q Adventures yup! Lots of Chinoys (Filipino-Chinese) in the Philippines.
That is the kind of woman I like to marry, beautiful and kind
Her face and personality is so beautifull
I think she’s starting to realize that from this very video
It is about time that the Government offer social welfare to the Citizens there.
It is everywhere the same.
Just making children without thinking about them.
They have to live this life. Mostly no prospect of a good education.
I feel pity for them. They so kind and cute.
…tks video made w sensibility…
Great video
I love Filipina girls, they sooooo sweet and adorable 😍
This girl know her way around shabu…don’t ignore the red flags..if she don’t tell you her secret she don’t want help and you will be a victim.
I hope you paid her for the guided tour.
Generously, I did
Some of the things you say in front of the people seems inappropriate. Would you want somebody saying those things about your living contions in front of you on video ?
Noted. I’ll be more sensitive next time around. I am real new to this and appreciate your constructive criticism.
Very pretty young lady. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for tuning in 🙏
this remind me to the jungle girls of my country Perú looks very similar
“slim teen girls””
they live in poverty too

She seems like a really sweet lovely young woman. That furniture weaving was really incredible. May the future hold many blessings for them.
She is beautiful
Poverty is good health😂😂😂
Just want to snatch her out of there and give her a real chance at life.
The way you say snatch sounds like you may have other ideas for her.
Can you vlog in catbalogan city brother? Because alot of farm to market road here are become farm to packet road very said GOD BLESS YOU
Do you live there? Please reach out to my messenger if you do.
@Q Adventures yeah I LIVE IN REMOTE AREA, OF CATBALOGAN CITY SAMAR PHILIPPINES GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER,
@Q Adventures what name of your messenger or how reach you overther brod?
Yeah. I am in Subic Bay now. After circling Luzon, I will take ferry from south of Luzon to Leyte and ride Leyte. Keep in contact with me via Messenger. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php/?id=100013812859059. I often miss messages here
Hello pretty lady
@Q Adventures how are you doing dear
From America
It shows how much crap we strive for in the west, they could do with more and we a lot less. She is beautiful in all ways
You are right. That’s why I am here at my age doing what you see on my videos
We get what we get. I observed and have many hard working mexican friends as well
Give to these nice people don’t take advantage of them, and he blessed!
Never crossed my mind to take advantage. I am here to contribute, not take
Thank you 😊
@Q Adventures thank you i follow a lady from cebu and sometimes help with paypal what a contrast

That’s too deep for a simple man like me😁
It not deep it the truth I’m native American jim the most humble respectful honest person on mother earth 🌎
Filipino’s are the happiest people on earth!!
Sure are… that’s why I am here to learn from them
You would think they would have email address to be able to contact them…
Every Philipino that I know has a beautiful soul. They are absolutely amazing people ❤
I just saw her in another video with another foreigner interview
So Why the need for her to pose in bikini? It’s a bit demeaning! 👎
She chose her thumbnail.
Passport bros or not, everyone wants a calm and peaceful love life on an even playing field. Who wants to walk on Eggshells everyday?
The young lady showing her home is so shy and seams so sweat and kind hearted. Life is so rough over there for so many people, it is heart breaking. The people are doing the best they can and it is nice that family works together. Thank you sweat girl for showing the creators of this video your home. God our father be with the family and village, in Jesus name, amen
That girl possesses that unique Filipina beauty ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Poverty of wealth, but rich in values, industry and family. Very clean streets.
I just imagine how much those chairs would go for in the US. What talent. They need the internet so they can create a website and sell online.
I love the women 😍 there
Much to love. So traditional and caring
Saved me a trip to this awful place. The extreme poverty touches my heart. I want to scoop up a bunch of little ones, adopt them, and give them a more comfortable and secure life. Jesus said it: The poor will always be with us. Fortunate people, do what you can to help and share your wealth!👍
There’s a debate there in itself.
You would think there would be malaria.
But there isn’t
She’s so gorgeous and she has a beautiful smile. 🌹❤️
@jimsexton4197 it’s just Mandaue Cebu
Thank you I’ll remember that.

Wow. And I’m over as a black American living so much better. These videos are so humbling. What’s that quote?
“I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.”
― Helen Keller
Well said…🙏
I disagree. Poverty discriminates , it chooses the poor not the rich.
That’s a perspective…🙏
God bless you all
can I come to your house and ask you all these questions ???
My house? Sure…
Whoa…
Goes to show living in poverty people are far more appreciative and happy, compared to the well off and super rich.
I would imagine the burden of maintaining that wealth is part of it
mas maganda pa bahay nila kaysa homeless sa Amerika nasa sidewalk nakatira sa tent lang.kahit saang bansa may poverty.
What’s the story behind the thumbnail of this video? It seems like the same girl in the video.
No story. She and my gf had a photo op with one another and she liked the turn of of this photo so we used it as a thumbnail
Love the Philippines, i havent been back since i was 18. Great people , very honest. Had a great time in Manila
Maybe they’re better off without an American in their life.
you have the same in many countries
Point received. I was just fascinated with the attitude compared to the US, where I am from
I just hear: uhmm aaahhh eeehmm, please boy , be more fluent in apeacking uuuuuhmm aaah
🤔☺🤗
If i had the health and wealth, Ruchelle Mai is the girl from the Filipines i would want to meet and marry and bring back to the UK to live, but the irony of ironies, I can’t afford her, or the British version of her, not that I wouldn’t want the ungrateful greedy British version.
Wow that something 😍 👏 😳 👌 👀 😕 😍 👏 😳 👌 👀 😕 😍 👏 😳 👌 👀 😕 😍 👏 😳 👌 👀 😕 😍 👏 😳 👌 👀 😕 😍 👏 😳
What an angel she is,beautiful smile as if there’s not a worry in the world, no wonder western men want to marry them, god bless her.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8S_YpuBF50- is it same girl at 10:00?
Filipina girls are naturally beautiful. They are always happy and smile all the time . Layed back ,nice skin tone . Just lovely people . Give them respect and treat them nice and you have a loyal friend for life . They are good caring people . Long live the Philippines.
Wife material any day of the week. Every single one of them.
Thats not a poor place: only the poor finds poverty.
Most westerns are so tied up in the materialistic things in life to bring happiness into their life’s. She has the the true riches of life which is the love of family in her heart. ❤
Well said. It’s the 1st million, then the second and on and on…. never stops
What’s with that thumbnail? she posed only with bra and underwear?
Great video! But how did you get that thumbnail 😂
She’s friends with my gf and they where playing with my Cannon Rebel T6. She liked this photo and there you have it, thumbnail
Ohh wow there’s another utuber shows the same videos like urs kurt

Opps at least same area ur in
goog
Hrencd
shouldn’t put title as ‘poverty” its rural lifestyle .
…
They are in the middle of a big city, Mandaue, Cebu
I take precautions like wearing bug repellant, etc
Hi I live in British Columbia Canada, We take our oyster shells and heat them over a fire pit and dry them , and then crush them into a fine powder and put in our gardens for fertilizer . The people there could do the same thing burn old wood or paper and dry the shells and sell the powder to farmers or use it them self. Great show
Thank you for the input. I will share your thoughts with them. I appreciate your support of my channel
Michelle is very lovely
