  • Amen for him but I just wonder now that he’s going home if his social security from United States will ever be reinstated

    • It will be put it could take time.
May-be because he is under the british ambassey it will be sorted a lot faster.

    • Social security works by pay at beginning of each month so it’s likely he will get paid in early January direct deposit to his bank.

  • Wow…ken is going home to the UK now, i wish somebody will take good care of him there like the way u do John. ❤❤❤

    • From the moment he lands ken not his real name will be taken into custody and taken care of the same as any other prisoner.

    • @@davidlamb7524 I may not trust a lie detector test 100 percent, but gut never fails, watch this man listen to his highly unlikely story, his not wanting to reunite with relatives, ask yourself if you trust him unconditionally, and remember that often those that commit the worst crime find in the Philippines a much more tolerant and target rich environment for their unholy penchant for toddler flesh. In the video when he sings with his friend, I believe the man refers to him as Steve after a set, you watch it and form your opinion. Also, his friend was very serious about not being identified. Having said that I sincerely hope I am wrong. And he is not utilizing the credential of his deceased roommate.

  • You have been doing so much work to help Ken. Amazing…! On top of that you help so many other . ❤

  • I’m so glad for Ken, I’m not the praying type but I hope with all my heart he gets a good Christmas and does not end up lonely and isolated.

Don’t know how many times I called you “the man”, at least a few 🙂 The thing is you say “I couldn’t just go by and do nothing” Well that right there is what makes you different from big chunks of this world population!

Then humble as you are you say many helped, right you are but not much of that would have happened if it wasn’t for you who could not just simply walk by and do nothing, rings on the water push it forward effect.

And I probably sound like a Derek fanboy, and guess what I think I am🤣

  • ❤ Such Amazing News For Ken ❤ Thankyou Derek Ai , You 100% Saved Ken & Now He Looks so Good , Ready to Travel 👍 And U deserve 🇵🇭⭐🌴 God bless 🙏 Ken’s safe travels ❤ 🦘🦘🦘✅ AUSTRALIAN-GUY

  • Wow, that’s great. I’m so happy for Ken. At least no more flies in UK. Congratulations for your undying support for Ken.

  • Derek great news we’ve got Ken back on Monday 18th December. I have been in’- touch with media again this week’s they are aware of the British Embassey doing this repatriation. I’m sure Ken’s going to be looked after when he arrives back to UK. Thanks a Lot for everything youv done to make this all possible for Ken. Hope to see this all Live video as Ken parts from airport onto his new adventure to his place of birth WALES.

  • I thought there are few people wants to accommodate Ken in UK .ive seen that in one of your videos in the comment section. . I guess thats is in the 2nd video or 3rd vid about ken. 😊

  • He’ll never afford the £££ to get his passport back (once in the UK). So it’s a one way trip to UK. And unfortunately Ken is so frail, he will sadly pass away within a year. That is the stark reality……

    • I don’t know about that. No one has an expiration barcode on back of their neck. If Ken gets medical treatment he needs, better nutrition, gains some weight, has access to his own funds, gets housing, recovers his sense of self and mental health, has more hope for his future, Ken may surprise us all. He has lived this long under very trying, very difficult conditions. He is a survivor! Elderly who live as he has often live well into their 80s and 90s. Let’s let the man live to tell his tale. Maybe he will be on the UK talk show circuit or write a book. Ken has that will to live that makes a huge difference in longevity. He has a plan, he has social services charity helping him, UK media are ready to greet him at the airport as a tubeu star with a personal interest story. Let’s be kind and know Derek and his wife the viewers to the channel and the government bureaucracies and the kind woman who took Ken in Bernadette all worked to help Ken have a chance to live free of poverty and ill health. It’s a story of human kindness prevailing over indifference and suffering. What a triumph!

  • I hope somebody is taking care of Ken in the U.K. he is such a lovely man! They are a lot of lonely people, in the U.K.,and old people, hope the man will be o.k.!

  • You have done a wonderful job in helping Ken the whole way. So glad it has a happy ending. Wishing Ken all the very best back in UK. Safe trip😂🙏

  • Great job sir yo realy help Ken thank you do that I am sorry same my word a hope you fore give me. You did great sir kept it up

  • Derick, anyone that’s supporting you, trust your integrity. People understand Ken’s problem has been a learning curve , dealing with number of agencies.. The goal was set and almost there..

    • Thank you, Rangi. I just wanted to keep the door open for those who are new and have contributed. We have met recently and you see how real I am in person

  • Thank you for all you do for Ken. God will multiply His blessings n favors to you and your family. I hope you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior from sin. 🙏😇

  • Good luck to Ken, he certainly have a good friend and human in you Derek. Derek you are a kind and unselfish man and I am wishing you God’s richest blessings. Hoping that Ken will find immediate housing after hospitalization and stay well and healthy for a long time.🙏🏽🍀❤

  • 13:20 he probably nervous about coming back to the UK, and if he doesn’t like it here hows he going to get back out of the UK which i don’t blame him!

  • If you go to Thailand and return two days prior to Ken’s departure, is two days enough for you to take care of everything for Ken? I’m just worried.

    • Plenty. My Thailand trip was booked before I met Ken. I can’t abandon personal obligations and I have staff, my neices and network of people back there to assist on demand. As you can see, the 2 girls I recently purchased shoes for, 1 cuts his nails, the other walks with him.

  • I have donated to Ken through you. I am happy you use that money as you see fit. Thanks Tim. I am in the UK, I think the UK Embassy will require Ken to repay the Flight cost no matter what happens. The payment for visa fines and return of passport will be a separate issue. Good luck take your time.

    • Thank you for your understanding, Darby. I went over the emergency loan agreement with Ken today and he repays when he wants his passport back

  • Q you seem like a nice guy but I have some doubt on your intentions. Chinese generally can’t be trusted. Money trumps everything. You can see that on the products they make on their policies, on the food when it goes bad in china they dye it rather throwing it away. When buying bakery products when there’s egg in it, it could be fake. I still don’t know your intentions. Your channel has grown immensely since videoing Ken.

    • Ok. I was born in Vietnam. Never been to China once in my life, neither do I have a desire. My great grandparents escaped China in an effort rebel against the Qing Dynasty.

You know the iPhone is made in China? If you choose to purchase your goods at Walmart, you get what you pay.

If you want to bring bigotry into this, I gotta point out your ignorance, Mr. Billy Johnson

    • @@qadventures well you might not have chinese tendencies then I don’t know. This is my experiences living in the Philippines and watching you tube videos of people living in china.

    • @@qadventures oh by the way all their crap goes to the Philippines not so much the U S because in the US they have to stand behind it. Go to Thailand and you’ll see the difference of Thai made products.100% better. Just telling you my experiences

  • Note if UK embassy book Kens flight they will not be looking for cheap flights. Uk embassies are generally very good. Just take your time. May your God be with you.

    • Nope. They booked a flight convenient for them to receive Ken with the charity. But it worked out pretty cheap. A little over $700 usd

    • No problem. If you use Facebook, just search 1-626-626-6347 and I should come right up. If you use whatsapp, input +1-626-626-6347 anfld I am there

  • That is great news Derek, the UK Embassy really step up in a good way to get him home and they will also take care of him at the airport when he gets there. Merry Christmas Ken you need the medical assessment and taken care of. I cant wait to see you at the airport i will cry i have tears of joy already.. God bless you Derek. The donation can go towards his passport whatever he have to pay to get it back. Love you guys from Canada 🇨🇦🙏🎄❤️

    • Thank you, Reta. Thanks to many supporters to put enough pressure on the embassy to expedite this. I sure did not do this myself

    • yes he needs his passport back as he said before that he want to come back again. anyway merry christmas to you both Ken and Derek

  • Maybe it was better to pay by your self the air flight. instead to use the embassy. because they are a pain in the ass

    • I had explored that option. But it means I have to raise funds, which I don’t want to do, to cover his overstay penalties. That option, I would’ve continued with JRC as I will not have the time to do all the immigration requirements for Ken

  • I have a ? Derek. If the embassy is going to hold on to hold his passport. How can he travel without his passport?

    • The embassy issued him emergency travel documents to present to Philippines immigration at exit point. Apparently… this is common

  • god is good all the time…godbless more both of you derek & ken…stay safe..stay strong always….

  • It seems easier to keep it simple, you are going home for free. Best not to mention getting passport back or paying fines,he will most likely never travel again. Appreciate the great job you are doing, not just with Ken 👍

  • I can’t understand why the UK government can’t just get him a business class seat. They are rich enough to do it.

    • Ken will have to pay his plane ticket to get his passport back. So it’s best that he’ll buy economy class. If the UK plane will upgrade him then it’ll be for free.

    • The UK cannot or will not pay for its citizens travel costs back to the UK when they get into financial difficulties unless they are willing to repay the costs. Remember its the UK tax payer who is paying the bill.

  • I am so glad Ken had your help as it seems a nightmare.
I wish you a good trip to thailand.
Also a good trip for Ken to get back home. It looks as he has a direct flight. I am so glad for him.

  • What a great Christmas present. I wish you the best Ken to finally get back to UK. I am so grateful for all your help to make this happen by documenting Ken on tubeu. Thank you also all the supporters who helped make this possible with financial assistance, emotional support, and people who have advice on how to navigate the emigration and social security bureaucracy. The elderly are a vulnerable population. Ken is 100% improved from when we first learned of him. Thank you Bernadette for taking Ken in to get him out of the Juvenile Hall residence. Angels were looking out for you Ken! Thank you British Govt for getting Ken back to UK and paying for his visa overstay penalty.

    • At last ken is going home, thanks derek and bernadette, question who will be with him in UK and who will take care of him
      .

    • Actually the UK government embassy ( throughout, sir Emmanuel’s efforts?), as far as I can tell, merely arranged with the immigration dept of the Philippines, to defer payment. Should Ken wish to return to the Philippines. He will have to pay the various charges and penalties first ( over 100k pesos.) !
It was mentioned in one of the videos already! Very generous of them I might say!

  • Congrats on all what you have accomplished 👍🏼 To take away the confusion and misconceptions, he will have to pay all bills either at a financial plan or all in ones, whichever he is capable of.
Even if he doesn’t want his passport back.

Because what they meant is, he only receives his passport back after all outstanding bills are paid off but either way, he is expected to pay all outstanding bills either way.
As far as I know of, all UK citizens have the obligation to identify themselves at all times where he gets an exception for for the time being as his passport is confiscated.

    • I get the opinion a UK charity in UK is helping fund flight home with UK embassy in Manila doing the paperwork for repatriation since Ken’s passport has been confiscated. So the embassy did not say Ken needs to pay back flight.

  • Thanks for your input and your friendship with ken and Paul with input which pointed you into the right direction and you have helped a fellow UK greatful 👍

    • Maybe, I think he is hard of hearing and don’t forget he has a tbi head injury so he may have a little brain damage from that, some mild cognitive delay. And bring malnourished for so long he is still recovering from that.

  • What a great job you have done you are a angel, safe travels Ken I hope you get the care you need 🙏🙏🙏💜

  • Derek ignore the negative people you have done a great job you truly are a good human being 🙏🙏🙏💜

  • Great news I really hope when Ken arrives in Heathrow airport London that he can be transferred to south wales to his hometown as their will be perhaps old friends who can possibly make contact with him and their will be senior meetings like coffee days etc which would be amazing

  • Am happy what a good kind personyou are to help this british man in need how miserable his life before you came across with him GOD BLESS YOU for helping make ken life better. Appreciate all the people who help ken GOD will reward your generosity kindness of heart keep doing agood humanitarian work

  • Well done Derek! You are an inspiration, sir. I’m so happy for Ken, he’s such a likable person – I wish him the very best. I for one can’t wait for the follow up videos and conversations with Ken when he is in the UK!

  • Derek your a good man you have really went above and beyond to help Ken no one could have done a better job than you sir you are worth your weight in gold

  • That’s the Most Exciting News to hear. Ken will soon Knock on U.K’s Doors!!! Congratulations 🎉🎊🎉!!!

  • You’ve done a good job in helping Ken. If I may suggest, however, why don’t you secure a written terms and conditions (thru email) from the UK embassy on specific details about what they want and the estimated payment for the plane fare, reimbursement for visa penalty for overstaying, etc. Also, be specific about the things that are pro bono and what are not. This way, you and Ken would not be confused. Also, I remember that Ken doesn’t want to stay in the UK for the rest of his life as he dislikes winter. So, what would happen to that plan if UK authorities confiscate Ken’s passport? The UK embassy’s terms and Ken’s written agreement should be prioritized than the winter clothes, etc.

    • they did send a loan agreement for Ken after this video posted. the fare was $700+ and admin fee was $100+. In UK pounds was 500+, if I remember correctly

  • thank you to all who have been working so hard to get Ken the help he needs. He is looking so much better now. Praying things will continue to go smoothly and soon Ken will be on his way home. God Bless all who have helped.Ken is looking great and GOD BLESS all who have helped, and GOD BLESS Ken as he is reunited with Loved Ones! 🤗🤗❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • Well Done Ken,Derek and Ai. Glad to hear the good news. Now I wish you the smoothest and safest of journeys. May you also find good care and help whilst you are in the U.K. May you also sort of all your issues, medical and financial successfully.
    Best WISHES Ken ❤🙏

  • Thank you for all that you do, your kindness I can tell is sincere, hopefully this will inspire others to pay it forward, if you can please keep us updated on Ken, I would like to help in the future if he needs anything

  • Hello Derek I perceive you are very good Samaritan to Ken. So far, you have honestly helped Ken and that is very remarkable. I am sure, to Ken you are the most wonderful thing that happened to him. If Ken does feel that way, I agree with him. He looks happy, you made him happy. Thank you to your Channel…and I have decided to subscribed to your channel…to follow Ken’s journey to the UK.

    • I hope you also give my other videos a chance. I mainly provide resources to local kids to break the poverty cycle already with 1 success in less than a year.

  • Don’t mind the naysayers kuyz Derek, you have done so much for Ken. Those who have ill words towards you for vlogging the journey of Ken are just jealous and they might be thinking you will benefit (directly from Ken)on this while infact you’re sacrificing much for doing the work. And WHO CARES if you are vlogging this for views, its helping Ken also.

    • thank you. without the publicity, i will not have the same resources I had to assist Ken. The success is done by the viewers who passed on the wisdom and support. Marissa Lake (a Filipina) from Luzon who sent the vitamins and resourceful contact numbers, the wisdom from all around the world… I’m just the dude with a camera and a laptop

  • May God bless you and Ai for all that you have done for Ken.You are a good man Derek.May God bless Ken and keep him safe as he heads home to the UK.

  • If donations have been made they would be helpful to pay for Ken’s fees and the return of his passport I hope anyone who has given donations will agree to this and hopefully more donations will continue to be received to cover every cost of expenditures 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    • I think a better use would be for car rentals, money for food etc. this way Derek doesnt have to come out of pocket for that.

    • @@BrandSolutions that’s what I’ve said in above comment the cost of every expenditure which would include Derek’s expenditures

    • that’s exactly what it is. With participation from this community, it gave me the courage to invest in his nutrition, hiring local students to keep his hygene, to exercise him while I am not available, etc. Without the support of this Q Community, I would probably not pursue investigating in his banking situation as well as social security. It takes up a lot of time and resources.

  • I was confused too at the start, like Ken.
Derek..just keep it simple. Tell him the embassy is paying for everything now. If he wants his passport back he needs to pay back the embassy.
If he stays in the U.K he doesnt owe them anything.
Best with Ken is to keep it short, precise and to the point I think. No extra information if its not relevant.
Good job Derek keep doing a good job. ❤

    • i was more so saying it for the viewers to understand. that way I stay protected, myself. as you can see, Ken is fragile. at any moment, he can turn and my attempts at philanthropy will end.

  • I noticed that you really have a great smile now..hopefully you will arrive UK safe and sound..god bless and a big salute to Derek..❤

  • KEN. BLESSINGS. SAFE TRAVEL. MERRY CHRISTMAS. YOU’LL BE ALRIGHT. GOD SPEED. MYCH LOVE❤❤❤❤❤

  • That’s such wonderful news, I hope Ken receives all the love and kindness that you and AI have given upon returning to his home country.

    • I was told BBC will be receiving him at the airport. he’s a celebrity. i’ll be looking for the media for the 1st time in a long time to see if it’s true

  • Safe travel Ken and mabuhay Derek saving the life of a dying person God bless you more. Safe travel also to both of you Derek and sweetheart

  • This is so amazing n wonderful Derek Sir..❤
U have helped Ken so much…
Wishing Ken a pleasant journey to UK..❤
My humble prayers to u n ur family n Ken..❤

  • The real problem for Ken is the UK is not home in his mind. The PI is. The UK is just where he was born. I hope he rethinks this

    • it was him who asked to go home. for health care and to get out of this illegal immigrant situation. if you see his 1st video, no one would want to be in that position

  • You should try to find someone on the other end to film him in the UK….. Like does he have a caregiver in place over there?

    • I would love to if someone volunteers. I don’t like asking for anything as i don’t like to feeling of obligating someone

  • Well done keep it going you should help people like this your channel will get donations to help people I hope you keep doing this

  • Awesome news and am proud that the UK🇬🇧 ( my home country) is offering to pick up his tab. Am glad that he will be taken care of and not left in the Philippines to rot . This is one of the reasons why I so proud to be British. He will be offered free healthcare once he get back.

I am really happy for Ken and I am still here , as offered before , if he needs help ,once he lands in the UK.

  • If you can let everyone know the area ken will live in England I’m sure people will want to help ken including myself

    • I’ll keep you posted after he arrives. I’m certain hospital wait list and stuff like that has an influence on where the charity through the embassy has something to do with it

  • Well what’s home Ken is there anyone there ? That you know to help you around town? That transition from warmth to cold could take a bad turn on your help any arthritis will set in too. Hope the weather is nice. Ken it’s been a please meeting you and I hope you know Jesus id like to see you again! If you don’t like it there after all these your yrs your welcome to come to Dallas Tx where I can care for you. We have some good Drs and next to ss office. Let me know .But Tx is pretty quick receiving ss. There also missile warning sirens going off at times because of wars next door Be perpared. This man can’t care for himself once he gets out of your care he will be lost! Please please make sure he goes to the right place and doesn’t get trapped somewhere.

  • I appreciate your honestly and integrity helping Ken. It’s important to be open with your audience demonstrating Ken’s consent through this process because Your videos have such a big audience and clarity & truth means so much with sensitive issues. you have done a professional, excellent job saving Ken. I’m a lifetime subscriber brother. Keep it up

    • @zeusfloreus it’s unfortunate but a reality that many YouTube channels do exploit people and situations for money and ad revenue without even caring or helping those people at all. Derek is not one of those channels, which is why I have admired him since the first video I watched.

  • Ken going home to wokeness and massive crime. The odds of him being mugged are very high. He won’t live long there. It would have been better to get his SS and visa figured out so he could live what’s left of his life in peace in the Phil.

    • He overstayed his visa. Plus, he needs surgery with the UK will take care of. He would be better off going to Thailand if he wanted to go somewhere. Thailand has more infrastructure.

    • @@chris2489001 Will the NHS help though. Do you know the length of wait for elective surgery and there are rules about residency now, even for citizens, if they have been living for extended periods overseas. The land of milk and honey sank a long time ago….

    • @chris2489001 the UK embassy is working with Derek on Kens behalf, they are aware of the situation. Also. I dont think Ken is wanting to get back home for a facelift or any other elective surgery, I think it is health related.

    • @BrandSolutions  Yes, I’m aware. I pretty much watch all Derek’s videos. I was suggesting that if Ken wanted to leave the UK in the future, the Philippines might not be the best spot. Ken is too trusting of people, and where there is a large amount of poverty, there are people that will take advantage of you if given the chance. So I was pointing out Thailand would be a better option if he does want to go somewhere affordable with good healthcare and infrastructure. IMO, Ken should just stay in the UK at his age and with his current level of health.

  • So happy for Ken. ❤ Thank you Derek and team for helping Ken. Praying for safe travels and may his health treatment goes well in UK and overall situation. Grateful for everyone involved in helping Ken esp you, Derek. 🙏💝 THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. God bkess you more.

  • Hello Derek, I don’t know if you read all your comments or not. I retired from the social security administration. I sent you a message several times about Ken SSA situation. But I continue to watch you saying you don’t know how it works and so on.

    • I really don’t, despite all the info given to me. I act as the information is given to me. I am 45 now so retaining this info is just not me. I just ask for Ken. They said multiple times that it’s reinstated and takes 5 business days to update the system, in my 45 yr old mind, he will get paid in 5 business days. but that’s not the case.

  • You may be in Thailand now Derek and Ai, so happy for you both 🧉🍹🥃☕️🍜🥘🍤🥠🥗😅🙂👏.
Stop, breathe slowly in through the nose and out through the mouth, relax and enjoy😊🙏🏼

Wow it’s all happening now for Ken, a bit of realisation shock to the system I think🙏🏼
Monday week he’ll be in the UK, or possibly Tuesday, I wish him a smooth passage and transition into the Uk again, many blessings for the medical help, near future, Christmas and New Year Ken😊

    • I mentioned on the video that I will give him the remainder of the unspent donations received plus a little more.

  • Well done Derrick safe traveling for ken I think ken is better off in the UK especially for healthcare system thank you and Ai 🥰

  • Wow great news,,thank you for your help, may you all ways be blessed,,I would like send all God’s blessings to the lady that gave him a place to stay,,

  • Wow very good news ❤Ken will go home to U.K.thanks to Dereck and wife and all the people behind who worked hard thanks and hope he will be ok and someone will help him recover well ❤❤❤❤

    • @@qadventures surly he asked for help to go back home that’s true from what we has been following, but my worry will some one look after him as well as u guys has been doing, l which was near l would help him atill his days come to rest but I leave in a far country from where he will settle

    • @@harrietaacengol4386 Ken not his real name but the name of a deceased elderly xpat he roomed with, will never board the plane to Heathrow. He will continue to evade capture for his crimes, the next video will be about Ken disappearing without a trace or one that explains who he really was. His victims who are adults now will continue to suffer, the victims of a murderer get peace when they die, but these victims live everyday with what was done to them.

  • Wow, great news. You have done miracles for Ken. Yeah, I donated money also in connection with the first video of Ken, but for no specific purpose, just to support your cause. You have/will spend them well. I wish Ken safe travel back home and all the best.

  • Maybe you could teach Ken how to make a video. Then he could send you a video diary when he’s here in the UK. ❤

    • Philippine government will let him go back to UK as he had no money he will be exempted paying for overstaying in the country Philippine is Christmas let him go back to his homeland this This coming 17 of December, May you Ken arrive safely . Have a wonderful Christmas brothers.

  • You guys are amazing people, & very transparent & clear. You guys are Angels on Earth. Much love to you all for being good.🥰😇🥰

  • 🎉❤🎉 Bravo I’d recommend working this way with Ken we know you’re doing everything in his best interest. xoxoxo I’d just ask Ken what’s his plan and goals ….. 1st get his SS back done get to Uk then does he want to return to Phillipines or can he maybe be comfortable and happy living In the UK? if he wants to return then these steps will have to happen to make that possible.

    • he’s inconsistent, rightfully so, at his cognitive stage. He also mentioned Paraguay and other countries, but his health comes first.

  • Thats nice that its the government will take all the tab!!!! Its like a rescue process! I think he will also have an assistant from the airport to where he will be staying since he is not that strong and healthy!

  • Glad Ken is going home. Hope he’s happy about that. Not sure how he will cope with the cold UK weather, after living in the Philippines. Hope it works out ok.

  • you explained yourself very well, about donations and I can see you are just trying to be honest and explain everything to the people, personally I feel that they’re donating their just donating to Ken, and whatever he needs that should be what the money is used for and that is my opinion. But everyone is different and I understand exactly what you are saying again I thank you so much for you and your wife being so kind to a man that need you so much, may God be with you and your wife and family all your living days.

    • I am on the same boat as you, as is many others. The Ensure, the car rentals, the hired exercise by the locals, etc.

  • Bon voyage, soon, Ken!😊 And Derek, you are the coolest person ever with the biggest heart! More blessings to you 🙏😀❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • I think its better for him to let the government allow to where he will be place bcoz there is a senior housing in UK ! It will be perfect for him since he is not strong enough to do grocery shopping or cooking and time will come he cannot help himself doing his personal hygiene !
Plus doctors appointment ghere are staff that helps senior
Whatever allowance you will give him when he leaves must be in dollar !

  • It all came to pass Because of your Nightly walk with Ai after dinner as you made everyone more aware of his plight and went way above and beyond as we All think; “There but for the Grace of God go I” as it could happen to any of us and just Glad a Kind Soul crossed his path and was Willing and Able to lend a hand. All in Q Community are Happy.. Thx Derek & Ai and Bernadetta and ALL who lent a hand or support

    • He has a very secure pouch that he carries his important documents. That will suffice. Any more, he will have a hard time babysitting

  • What a drastic change in Ken from when you first met him. You earned your wings for helping a fellow Human.

  • Nice update. I find using a pen and paper and writing a Kind of flow diagram helps, when communicating with the elderly or challenged, less words

  • Merry Christmas To you and Ken. Thank you for helping Ken. We donated using a credit card but it seems to be connected somehow with pay pal. Is that normal? Cause we didn’t want to go through pay pal. No worries though just want to do it right.

    • You probably registered that cc to PayPal at some point in the past. If you read through the options, you can also choose other options besides the card you registered

  • Im a bit confused here? If embassy will hold ken’s passport till he pays his debt how is gonna be able to leave the country without passport?

    • Yes. Portion of those donations was spent on his ensure, up keep, etc. The remainder will be given to him as pocket money

  • I did not watch every episode. But I am a daily witness of the horror of getting old. Ken is just an old guy. Still don’t know if going back to Wales will be the best for him. We’ll see.
    Respect from Bruges, Belgium

  • Dec 17 wow right in time for Christmas. British embassy paying for the flight.

Does he have somewere to stay when he gets back uk? Im worried about that.

You going to airport with him film him?

    • I will rent a car to take him to airport and film it, yes. The embassy will see to it for his care and, as I understand it from a subscriber, the media BBC will be at the airport on Ken’s arrival and be the watch dog

  • so grateful to you for what u r doing for Ken…am not sure how much money Ken can take out of the Phillipines no doubt the Embassy will explain….i think to bring in to the UK amounts £10.000 or over Ken would have to fill in a form and declare to customs…again am sure the Embassy will advise….there are a couple of thoughts that come to mind……..there other ways for him to travel with money.. cards like Revolut or Monzo? perhaps safer and easier for Ken than cash….so many crooks around just looking for victims and Ken quite vulnerable on his own….and well known now with people aware of his travel dates? I hope things go well….thanks again

    • That was never calculated as Ken is leaving the country on humanitarian and medical emergency basis between governments

  • Ken, it will be the shock to your system when you arrived here in the UK 🇬🇧 as it is Winter times. Good luck, Ken.

  • WHAT British embassy is confiscating his passport until he pays them immigration fees owed wow heartless. Ken was one foot away from the other side

  • Hi Derek,

Me being as poor as I am. I’ve only sent a $5 sticker towards your cause. Feel free to spend that in any way that suits you best. Lol.

Moving forward, everybody’s happy to see that Ken is getting the support he needs and that his strength has been built up with your help and assistance.

A new chapter is going to start with Ken when he gets back to the UK. My opinion, he is still at risk and very vulnerable. We all know that government systems, no matter where they are in the world, have their own complexities and when a person pretty much disappears for years, there’s going to become issues reinstating him into the UK system. Even though you’ve worked endlessly to try to resolve his social security problem with the US. It isn’t resolved until a payment is given to Ken for these missed funds.

Ken, moving back to the UK will probably make it easier for him to get those funds but only after he opens accounts, gets proper documentation and secures a residence.

Ken will also be going through a whole bunch of new assessments probably right away and as soon as he gets off the plane. I’m sure they’re going to do physical assessments, cognitive function and who else knows what more. He is still highly at risk for things not going well for him. There will be delays.

My recommendation is if you have any funds in excess of what you paid for should be put aside for any urgency that may come about in the next year.

My personal opinion is you’ve gone above and beyond supporting Ken and you should feel no guilt for not understanding a system that you were thrown into blindly. What you have done is stuck it out and awaited resolutions instead of more uncertainties. That in itself is a true feat.

I hope you continue to follow Ken and keep us all informed on how it works out for him. I do worry that Ken is at risk of more uncertainties and confusions. What he needs is people to support him through this and make sure that proper assessments are made and his health issues are addressed immediately and long term housing support becomes available.

Enjoy your trip to Thailand, and Ken you have support my friend. I will look forward to hearing about your Christmas this coming year. God bless everyone who’s supported this man in a time of need!

    • Started with hilarity and went right into relevance.

I was more afraid of doing the frequency of refunds than the amount itself. Much rather do $100 once over $5 twenty times. Hahah

But you are right. Ken has lots of hurdles ahead. But I did and doing my best. 1 subscriber, as I understand it, said the media BBC is informed and will be at the airport when Ken arrives. I think it’s great as a form of check and balance.

    • @@qadventures Media resources will be around for a story, they will deplete quickly, but hopefully bring attention to his needs first.

It’ll always be the kindness of other people and their generosity that will support people that are in need, and that definitely includes you and your family.

Your vlog brought attention to the situation. But it’s your good heart that followed through with everything. All the best to you my friend.

  • This is great news, I’m sure most people wouldn’t expect a refund at the end of the day if it wasn’t for your kind nature, help and support for ken he would be in a worse situation, and a big thank you to all the people who genuinely have helped him along the way 🙂

    • A passport is essential a document issued by the government. The UK embassy will issue Ken his travel documents

    • it will probably be a one time waiver issued by the UK embassy which will allow him to return to the UK but not leave unless all fees are paid in full.

  • Sir if you are able to read this. Ken stay honarable! Go SEAL Teams! Just kidding about the Navy. 🍻

Sir, your journey has been difficult and you had able to accomplish greatness.

Godspeed on your next chapter in your life’s journey. This is coming from a willing Soldier in the United States. 🇵🇭🇺🇸✌🏻

  • I want you to take a bow Derek. You are the unsung hero. My goodness, I am so happy for you Ken. Hallelujah 🎉🎉🎉.
Derek, this means you have to visit Ken in the 🇬🇧. We love that you have taken a interest in Ken.

Ken you are looking good. More healthy! Can’t wait to see you home in the UK…..

A overnight flight💺🛫 home….🎉🎄🎊🎈🌈❄️☃️ So happy for Ken.

  • Of course he needs his passport. I thought someone was supposed to pay for his ticket. And covered his cost of his over stay in the Philippines. That’s too much he have to process. He is an elderly man.

    • @nitafy6252 why are you so sure he needs his passport? At his age he may get back to the UK and settled in and just want to stay there. As for the Philippines, Ken already had someone trying to help when Derek got involved, which Derek was unaware of in the beginning. They teamed up and the outcome was that of the Philippines and UK governments. Ken is a very nice man but due to his financial situation he has also overstayed his visa for several years so the Philippines may not even welcome him back.

    • @@BrandSolutions yeah Ken said that he still need his passport. He also understand. That he have to pay the fees for over staying in the country.

  • Well done Derek and Ai Bernadette helping Ken, also everyone who donated and the good advice from old dog and outhers. All the best

  • Make sure Ken has warm cloths when he goes to the UK, it’s Baltic!
I think it would be much better if Ken’s air fare is paid by crowd funder rather than through the Brit immigration. Things aren’t like they were When Ken was here last.

    • Crowd funding is illegal in the Philippines. If private funding, he was looking at close to $5,000 usd in expenses to include his airfare, visa overstay, etc. I cannot possibly ask the public to fund that

  • Don’t worry Ken will be sorted out when back in the UK
We are already putting illegal migrants up in top hotels and taking very good care of them!

  • big props for all you have done for ken, buddy please wear a hat the glare off your chrome dome is blinding haha joking bro

  • What are the steps being put in place once Ken is back in the uk ? Has Ken got any other forms of ID he may need to show for varies banking, housing social security…

  • Good News Ken Safe travels Take care wrap up warm for the uk Thank you Derek for all you have done for Ken 😀✈Keeep us updated ❤

  • L9ve your transparency Derek and honesty hope extra money donated goes to one of your fabulous causes. Your a true gentleman 😊

    • It will… I am not the most organized person but I know donations I received doesn’t go to me nor employees of a charity

  • Yey thanks his going home to his beloved Uk .the uk immigration at heathrow will help him.at least he will get the best medicare

  • I’ve been rather loosely following Ken’s situation. I’m so happy to see he’s going home! Also, I absolutely appreciate your candidness and honesty. You are an upstanding person and you just got a new subscriber!

  • I’m glad Ken is making it back home. I know he talked about coming back, but he will probably have to stay in the UK. With his health and age, the Philippines isn’t for him. Take care Ken.

  • . If anything I am more worried about Ken exploiting Derek and not Derek exploiting Ken. Ken seems reluctant to pay for anything. He wants it all for free! Lol!

    • In fact, yes! And I think he’s going to have some shocks in UK, having been away for so long. He’ll have no idea how things have changed for the worse. He may be safer in UK though. At least social services will probably become involved with him…. eventually. And in the meantime I guess the mentioned charity will help him out, because settling is going to be one of the biggest culture shocks he’s experienced in life.

    • Thank you and no one is exploiting anyone. All is done with full consent and willingness from both parties. I expect zero from Ken

  • Wouldn’t it help to establish a non-profit organization? That way your donations can be handled differently.

  • Great news, Derick , Re your out of pocket expenses , Re hire car ect , I presume Ken would reimburse you for
    Such ,

    • His health check is a general check to be sure he is fit to fly, and he is. The lumps will be mitigated back in UK

  • Thats the good thing being a british citizen if you stuck in another country and need emergency help the british embassy alwsys there to help .it doesnt matter if you left Uk 20 or 30 yrs ago they will still help you. We can never get this help from the phil govt, all they interested is taxing the overseas filipino workers and receiving dollars from their remittances what a crap phil govt. thanks god i dont live in there anymore

  • Congratulations on your news Ken you can now get your self sorted with he looks really well and a different person now 😊

  • Nice work guys great work indeed Ken off home l. When you go back to the Philippines all the NEW LADY’S will folk around coz he’ll be back rich l😅😂😅 Don’t lose your way next time Kenny

  • Derick you have been completely transparent with your intentions and I have felt completely confident in your service to Ken. I know when you adopt a senior that people can be suspicious. I know because I adopted a senior after the death of her husband and had to and I mean had to know all your private information to get her into safe housing after she lived in a hotel for 25 years with her husband and had to vacate with little to no money. I too had to access banking information and social security to get things set up for her. I paid for many many things she needed after finding her a place to live. I did it because she had no kids and her last two siblings were not able to help her. She is now in a nursing home after developing dementia 6 years after my help. Anyways I think you are a wonderful human being who is helpful and caring to other human beings and God will surely show you favor. God bless you for your kindness. I really wish the best for Ken and I hope he gets the same kindness when he goes home. I hope he gets the assistance he needs when he arrives home and there after. Praying for the covering of Jesus.

    • Thank you for sharing your similar experience. I video documented everything, NOT in the name of exploiting Ken’s situation, but to have video proof of my actions. I love being a contributor to society, but at the same time, Ken’s early dementia symptoms and other things, this is a way to protect myself also

  • awwww, too much talking for an elderly person to take in…..you are so kind to help him, but remember older people cannot concentrate so long…….The Welsh people will take good care of him, Wales is a loving, beautiful place…..

  • I am 73 & look like Ken lol. I want to come visit the Philippines and be a Ken. I am in better health and a bit more cognitive but equally as adventuresome. I am thinking he is thinking “I like it here better mate. Warm weather and Filipina to look at. Wales sucks. But he is not safe there. He has dimentia and is disabled. Needs a rich wife. ❤

  • The time you have put into getting Ken well and heading home has been amazing. Ignore any one that has anything negative to say.

    • Thank you for your support, Debra. I still thought it appropriate to disclose and put the option out there, in case someone wants their $5 back

  • Great news and thanks for all your hard work on behalf of Ken. His eyes seemed to be much better in this video, no squinting at all. He’s going from strength to strength. Enjoy Thailand Derek!

  • Happy for Ken. Many thanks to you and all the kind people of Philippines helping him in his time of need.

    Safe travels Ken 🍀✈️

  • Derick has gone to a lot of trouble to assist Ken ,
I think he is entitled to out of pocket expenses if Ken can afford it
I’m presuming Ken is entitled to pension back pay , as he was unfairly cut off same,
Unless of course , Derick is independently wealthy?

    • Thank you for that. I am independently independent. Not wealthy. I do what I do independently and not form a charity because I like my structure. My philosophy is made possible by my YouTube earnings and proceeds from my scooter rental business. I try to separate my assets from home to keep as my security blanket to preserve myself. That’s why you notice my “good deeds” are more frequent now compared to my earlier videos. That’s made possible by the growth of my channel and Q Community

  • I have a feeling Ken will never be able to financially go back to the Philippines ever again. I think that was going on in the back of his mind.

  • Wow! So happy for ken at last he will go back to his country….and thanks for a good samaritan mr.adventure so much appreciated…and thnx God for having u sir as kens sponsor for his travel…Godbless u more!! 🙂♥️😊

  • Derek you have gone above and beyond in helping Ken, and he finally can fly to the UK on 12/17… You’ve been a God send, it’s all good, and I pray some people in the UK will be just as helpful and caring as you are ❤️🙏🏻

  • Will Ken really be happy back in the UK? Wouldn’t he have been happier in the Philippines receiving his retirement funds?

    • Although reinstated, he still has not received a dime. And he will be staying here as an illegal, just rotting away

    • Actually… that is on the UK government, not me. I saw a man on the verge of dying in front of me and I stepped in to do what I can here, in front of me. Ken wants to go home and his status here is illegal and he has access to zero. I did and am doing my best to fulfill his wish while he is here. And I am in constant contact with the UK embassy to make sure they do their part. But I am 1 individual. I can only do my best and not the impossible

  • Just keep the good work going. People Derek has worked very hard. Not many people would have the balls to do what he does and help people. Thanks Derek for you faithfulness to Ken. Keep loving the people of the Philippines.

  • You’re truly a good soul … God bless your kind heart. While I’m happy for Ken, I’m also worried about him traveling alone. I hope, for his sake, everything goes well for him. Please tell him to give you an update when he gets home … safely.

    • Yes. I will constantly monitor him. Patrick McGill (a viewer from London) had informed the media BBC of Ken’s arrival. If I understood Patrick correctly, the media will be at the airport also

    • @@qadventures thanks for your quick response. Is Ken aware of the media attention when he gets there? Hope he won’t get overwhelmed by the media welcome. But I’m relieved and very happy for him. But hats off to you for all your hard work to help him. Again, GOD BLESS YOU!!!

  • A roundtrip flight is only about $ 900. Why did you not try to raise that tiny amount for him? I would contribute 50 bucks. The way this is done now makes it very difficult for him to come back. You also keep saying he is “going home”, but he stated in earlier videos he has nothing and nobody over in England, he just wants to get his social security payments going and then go back to the Philippines. Anyways…..I enjoyed how you helped him up to this point, but the ending I don’t like. He will be lost in England.

    • No… he wants to go “home”… he has since changed his mind about coming back. He has also since mentioned 8 other countries like Paraguay and Uruguay. His 1st wish was to get his health back to normalcy which only the UK “home” can accomplish. He is an illegal in the Philippines and he has an urgency to go “home”

      Thank you for your support

    • @@qadventures I see. I guess I had missed that segment. Keep up the good work. We live in Hollywood, and my wife is also from the Philippines. She just arrived here a year ago.

    • @@m.k.wallner3145 Ken not his real name but the name of a deceased elderly xpat he roomed with, will never board the plane to Heathrow. He will continue to evade capture for his crimes, the next video will be about Ken disappearing without a trace or one that explains who he really was. His victims who are adults now will continue to suffer, the victims of a murderer get peace when they die, but these victims live everyday with what was done to them.

  • I don’t know if you’ll see this, I understand you are getting alot more commnts and it’s getting harder for you to respond to each comment. That unfortunately is the normal result of success of a growing channel. Also I understand you’re going to Thailand this evening. Anyway there is something I’ve been noticing in your latest Ken videos. One of the main things I notice is how several times you’ve talked about having zero experience with Social Security, which is perfectly normal for a healthy person in their 40’s. Unfortunately due to some serious health issues that created a disability, I’ve have about 2 decades of experience with Social Security Disability. Anyway, that experience has given me some knowledge that might apply to Ken’s situation with Social Security. Specifically I’m talking about how long it’s taking Ken to get his money going now that he’s been reinstated. I mentioned this once before in comments on a previous video but you didn’t respond so I don’t know if you saw it. The main thing to keep in mind is that Social Security is a huge operation servicing millions of people. Once they have you in their system they’re excellent about being on time every month with the payments they send out. Unfortunately also because it’s such a big operation it often takes some time from once you get awarded or reinstated to when the payments start showing up in the bank account you tell them to send to. Sometimes this period of time can be several months (usually no more then 6 months although sometimes it can take a bit longer.) The good news is that however long it takes, once you get awarded or reinstated thy keep track of every payment you’re owed and when you get that first payment it will retroactively include all the payments that hadn’t been recieved yet, all in one lump sum payment. So for example, let’s say a person’s monthly payment is $1000 and it takes 6 months before the first payment shows up, then that first payment would be $6000 and then $1000 every month there after. This probably is what is happening with Ken not having seen any money yet. Also it’s near impossible to contact anyone at Social Security that can tell you exactly when that first payment will show up. So when Ken’s payment shows up (could be 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, etc.) it should be for his monthly amount times the number of months it took to get it. So if this happens for Ken he’ll get a nice sum of money. This could work out well for Ken though, if his desire is to recover his passport and return to the Philippines after he gets his health issues taken care of since he’ll already have most if not all he needs to pay his debt. So because of that you might want to give Ken a bit of warning, many people are pleasently surprised when they get that first check because it’s such a large amount making up for all the months it was late. This can often cause people to go a bit crazy and blow all that money quickly then after that they just get their normal monthly amount. So if this is how it plays out for Ken and he does want to return to the Philippines you should probably caution him to either pay off his debt immediately to get his passport back or to be very careful with his money until he’s ready to get his passport back. From things I’ve heard Ken say in his part videos I can see where he might be tempted to bless some of the people that helped him thru these tough times, with a large some of money, which is fine even honorable if that is what he wants to do but if he does that he might drastically delay his ability to return to the Philippines. Of course if he plans on staying in the UK then he can do whatever he wants with that money as he sees fit. Anyway that’s it, sorry for another long message but in my defense I told you the first time I ever wrote a comment, that’s how I usually am. Anyway, I hope you and Ai have a wonderful time in Thailand or had a wonderful time depending on when/if you read this message. Other then that just keep doing the wonderful job you’ve been doing with your channel.

    • Wow, Mark!!! You are spot on and very understanding.

What you said about social security is very helpful. I guess I was just more urgent for the sake of Ken, but I understand better now and we can’t rush the system. Thank you Mark

    • @@qadventures well you can try to rush the system if you want but I doubt it would do anything more then make you feel frustrated. Like I said though as long as it takes once it happens Ken should get every penny he was owed from the date he was reinstated. It might even be possible that he’ll get all the money he should have gotten from the point they ruled him as no longer existing. I’m not positive on that one though because Ken’s situation is rather unique to him and there’s probably not much precedent to go by. They one thing to be aware of though, this retroactive payment only goes back as far as two years. It used to be for however long it was but a few years back they capped it at two years. So if say for example they had him as no longer existing for three years then he would still only get 2 years of retroactive payments, if he even gets anything from that time at all. He’ll definitely get, or at least he should get, whatever he is owed from the point of being reinstated. Also I’m not saying it will definately take as long as I suggested, it could end up only taking another month or two. I only suggested 6 months as an example. I’m hoping though that they reimburse him for the whole time they had him as no longer existing or two years. Imagine how great it would be for Ken if he got all of that lost time back? Then he should have enough to get his passport back, give some compensation to those who helped him and still have enough to live well if he comes back to the Philippines. Anyway put all this stuff out of your mind and just focus on you and Ai having a wonderful time in Thailand. All this stuff will still be here to wonder and worry about when you get back.

  • Thank you so much to help Ken and god’s blessings you always John ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • Please keep in touch with Ken and keep us informed on his life situation!! I’m so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Derrick, you did it!!! Congrats! Great job! God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Derrick. I think everyone believes that you are sincere and a good person. I do appreciate you spoke with him about getting his permission. I think what you and Paul are doing is a service to show how it really is in the Philippines and how foreigners need to do and not do. I would think there are a lot of older retirees that could easily find themselves in a bad way without support. It does look like Ken gets confused easily. I hope he ends up in a place in the UK that assists him. Glad he is getting warm clothing.

  • You said Ken is going to go on the 17th Sunday put a thought you said I can only go on the weekdays on the Sunday. It’s not a weekday

  • Bro take a breath, your concerns are clear to us all but it’s clear its stressing you out. Everything is coming together nicely and non of this would have happened without you bless you brother and enjoy your time in Thailand. You don’t need anyone to pick him up by the sounds of things as the embassy are going to arrange all of that side of things. By the way I’m 99% once he gets his pension backdated from the USA that he contributed to that will take him over the threshold for savings which I think is around £6,000. In savings which will have some effect on all his benefits in the uk. This is all very complicated as his paid into the USA system and not the uk yet his going back to the UK. The part about his passport being held onto is very odd as I can’t imagine that it will be confiscated from him at passport control or once his entered thought the arrivals part of the airport but even if that does happen why would they hold it in loo of paying them back as his unlikely to need it.
As your going to take him to the airport could I advice you use your charm on a British passenger that’s also taking the same flight as I’m sure they would love to also take Ken under their wings and make sure all goes well at baggage collection and check point as his clearly getting confused. If had plans to leave Laos and go back to the UK I woukd offer myself. I’m sure all this will fall into place now the uk embassy is aware and is involved in its planning.

    • All very good point. I will charm them. Ken won’t have any luggage, only a backpack. The embassy will issue Ken official travel documents and I believe BBC will be there when Ken arrives

    • Ken not his real name but the name of a deceased elderly xpat he roomed with, will never board the plane to Heathrow. His victims who are adults now will continue to suffer, the victims of a murderer get peace when they die, but these victims live everyday with what was done to them.

    • if it’s not a terrible inconvenience to you, may i ask you to go to the airport to document Ken’s arrival? And that a charity from the embassy is in fact receiving him. • Have you ever thought that Ken may not be capable of making that trip to UK alone? From the looks of it, he may have a little dementia and may have trouble going through immigration procedures, filling up forms…and this trip may have one stopover. I think he needs assistance just to make that trip.

    • It’s crossed my mind, but the doctor said he is fit to fly and it’s not an option for him to stay here illegal (his wishes).

  • The smile of Ken brings joy in my heart too, what upset me is that, he is going there when is Winters 😔 my heart goes out to him, aish.

Everyone must be given help specially elderly expats

  • How is he going to manage himself getting on and off the plane and where is going to stay when he gets back to UK does he still have any one to pick him up. He does seem he needs a lot of management. Personally i dont see him getting back to the philippines he looks too frail and his treatments will take a long time and his age also. Cant see him lasting a year or so. He’s in a lot of joint pain from what i can see that cant be managed in the philippines on fresh air.

    • Airport staff will assist him in a wheelchair until final destination where a charity arranged by the embassy will receive him

  • An Angelical event 🙏🏽…Thank You from the bottom of my heart, Derek. Blessings Be Upon Thee and Thy Seed 💜

  • I am interested in the elderly visitor’s plight. Was UK confiscating his Philippine passport back until he pays UK back ? Why not follow up with the welfare help for the elderly confused man in UK😮

    • No. It’s UK passport. Ken and I agreed to keep in touch, but it takes a party to call and the other party to pick up for that to happen

  • We sincerely love to know how Ken is in his chosen destination. If the UK embassy could get help for Ken, it would be nice for Ken’s Christmas

  • That $100.00 that I send you yesterday for Ken, keep it for yourself since the UK embassy is picking up that tap for his overstayed visa and his flight

  • Thank you Derek for everything you’ve done for Ken, you are a hero. I hope you will keep in touch with him somehow and you will keep us posted about his life in UK. So happy Ken is going home.

  • Hi Derek. I’m sure Ken would have a longer, happier life getting his health issues sorted in the UK and then returning to the Philippines with his pension. The money donated for his flight to the UK could be used to pay back the money to the UK so that he can return to his beloved Philippines. Kudos for the great work you are doing for others less fortunate than us.

  • UK embassy is confusing Paying his fare and if Ken want’s his passport has to pay..He needs it to travel..

    travel.

  • Uk bails him out??? Crazy. Just shows, be irresponsible and taxpayers have to bail you out. Now everyone will expect this help. UK is full of wasters.

  • How he is going to go back here if his passport has been confiscated? You knew very that he do have the intention of coming back here because he could not afford the cost of living in UK. Besides, i haven’t heard it from you of what you have told him just a while ago that his passport will be confiscated in lieu of what they paid for ken’s penalty for overstaying here in the phils.? Suppposedly ,you should have to discuss it to him first before making your own decision of push trueing kens flight to UK? He don’t have the choice now but to follow what you made and planned for him. So, disappointing & disgusting. You blinded him.😥

    • So you would have him stay in the Philippines as an illegal with zero resource? Did you watch his 1st video? He was rotting away. Ken is fully aware of what’s going on. He had also talked about Paraguay and Costa Rica and not ever coming back to the Philippines. Gather the facts before you attack. So woke

    • @annabellebasoy5058 everyone was going to try to help pay Kens overstay penalties but the governments had their own plan. If ken ever wants to go back and his health permits he can repay the costs to the UK and get his passport back. Thats not to say the Philippines will let him back in after overstaying his visa for a couple of years. We have gotten to know Ken and he is a nice guy, to them he is an illegal in their country. No point in having passports or visas if you dont make people follow the rules.

  • Derek, your efforts are God blessed. It was not easy but Jesus never said it will be but you’re perseverance HE blessed!

  • Derek, Great job. I don’t think you did this for views or anything but even if you did the end justifies the means great job!! ❤ I hope we can cross paths one day when I get to the Philippines in early 24 with my wife.

    • I didn’t plan it but was grateful for the views. Nothing wrong with that. Brings awareness and creates opportunities for me to help more. I just saved another lady from germany from a long term scam since 2008. I helped her discovered the truth so she can cut ties to a money pit

  • I know he want’s to go back the the Philippines but I don’t think he’s in a condition to ever go back there.

  • One of Britain’s most wanted fugitives has been arrested by Spanish police just 24 hours after an appeal to track him down was launched.
Joshua Hendry, 30, was arrested in the town of San Pedro de Alcántara in Marbella, southern Spain, on Thursday after police spotted him out walking a dog.
Hendry has an international arrest warrant against him for his extradition to the UK on charges, those who assisted him also face charges from both countries.

  • Great news for Ken. So much thanks to Derek for all the good things he has done for Ken. May God repay you for all you have done for Ken.
Ken, best wishes for you and may you be safe wherever you may be. Keep in touch wherever you are. Merry Christmas Ken. From California.

  • What ever you did to Ken God will give it back to you hundred times You and ur wife were so kind to people like ken i was amazed you help him going home to wales God Bless Ken and God Bless you and ur family too. You are super kind hearted man

  • You’re amazing Derek! You truly saved Ken’s life brother! Words can’t describe your kindness and compassion with Ken! You are a great man brother! This story made a grown man cry! First from sadness then from joy! Stay blessed brother! ❤

  • You did a very good job explaining things to Ken please give yourself more credit brother! You did amazing with all this brother!

  • HI U2👋. AMEN🙏🙏🙏BROTHER BUDHA D👍😘 Ken can get back home 🏠 now, take care of his health, and live life !!! Great 👍 job U2 & everyone donating to Ken👍🙏😉.GODSPEED KEN🙏. Blessings 🙏🌼🌸🌺

  • Embassy will have flown him home for free and by business class anyway, for emergencies due to his health he will be put into the care of the NHS and straight to hospital and then arrange his long term care while getting better.
As for his UK state pension, it’s not being paid as he won’t have an account to withdraw it, but it will have been accumulated. Someone had stopped his pension that he had been collecting from USA or it had ran out.

Well done for helping him out ❤

  • i hope things go well for ken,but comming back to u.k is not straightforward, and having accomadation when he arrives back is not garunteed.theur are people older than ken living here homeless as well, the alternatives are hostels, its complicated, but i wish him well.

  • Hope we will still see more of Ken when he gets back in UK to see if he will truly be taken care of. 🥺 Thank you Derek for your help. God bless you. 🙏❤️

    • YES! ❤ Me too! May all those ppl in UK who have been watching these videos …May they meet and greet Ken there in UK at the airport to receive this brave elderly military man who has survived so much and will soon escape so much suffering….May people meet and greet him at the UK airport and update us all on not only Ken’s return arrival to UK, but to also continue to update the world on Ken’s new life back home in UK and his situation. We have all come to love and care so much for Ken. ❤ GOD BLESS HIS PRECIOUS HEART.

  • Has Ken no living relatives to receive him when he arrives UK? Thanks Derek for all you have done for Ken. Safe trip Ken.

  • When Ken gets to the UK I hope the NHS will take care of him firstly in hospital and then in a care home. A social worker should be allocated to Ken who should sort out all his financial and care needs. Will someone be meeting him at Heathrow. I wish him well. ❤

  • He should be entitled to back pay from when his UK pension payments back which should be considerable. Social worker will help.

  • That’s A Great News👍Derek for Kent!!Thank you!! For Been So Nice!!❤️ He Looks Healthy!! Hope He Stay in Uk & Get The Help He needs!!

  • Great Job.
You have done an amazing Job .
You have held his hand when no one else did !
You made his case be on the limelight .
Keep on the good Job .

  • Young man you are the type of people who needs to be highlighted. You cared, you were patient, you did the field work and you stayed steadfast on getting Ken home. Thank you!!!

I hope he doesn’t go back to the Philippines as cheap as it may be. Between his Social Security and his Pension he may be able to live comfortably in his home country.

  • it will be very cold in UK ,KEN is already used to philippine climate..it will be difficult for ken for a cold weather

  • Explain, U.K government holds passport not confiscated until money is paid back if ken chooses to come back to the Philippines, easy to understand for ken, you talk too much Q😂 complicated for ken😂. You have done a great job though ken🙏. Everyone knows the legalities that you may face Q, all good. U.K citizens are entitled to be taken care of in times of need or I’ll health abroad or in the U.K, free of charge. You Q luckily have sped up the process. Apon arrival at Heathrow, health care people will meet ken and take ken to hospital.🙏👌👍

    • Maybe I am a little slow. Never fathom helping and elderly so never thought about legalities and Implications. Thank you for your input, Julian

  • Hello Derek, sir @Raffy Tulfo helped someone in this type of situation and he contacted his connections and he was able to have the penalties waived.

  • God bless you kabayan you have a golden heart may you live longer so you can help more needy people like Ken,Hod luck and more blessing to you kabayan, keep it up brod.

  • This is what happens when you come to the Philippines in search of him finding a Filipina lady, after he found her she took his credit card and pin number and cleaned out his account, and dumped him, Filipina ladies are so cruel thye’re like the devil taking this poor mans money, as an expat I am going back home because the Philippines is nothing but a scam country.

  • Funding for his airfare can be for the return trip? It seems his life is in the Philippines..he going back to U.K. to sort his ssn?

    • No way. I am not here to enable people nor to enrich them. I intervened with ken because he appeared to be frail and life hanging by the thread.

  • Just found this today,Saturday the 16th of December…I am hoping so much that Ken is getting on that aircraft tomorrow and is coming home to us here in Britain to receive the medical help he urgently needs. Hoping he will be receiving a big Christmas dinner and some good company. I’m English, not Welsh but his accent sounds like it’s from the Rhonda valley to me..

    • @@qadventures Yes i have watched them in order, you’ve done a fine thing Derek 👏 Hoping you will receive some information on Ken when he arrives here in the UK! I’ve subbed to you for your very human response to this mans situation!!!

  • Why do I keep reading that Ken is not his name and he will never board the plane to UK. Can someone explain!!!

    • Please stop listening to weird people. I handled his passport and other official documents. He is boarding that plane in a few hours.

I also had crazy people that got upset at me for not adopting Ken or boarding that plane with Ken. There are crazies out there that just like to create drama

  • Wow! The Channel appeared in my recommendations last night (16/12/23). Kevin and Bernadette you are absolutely amazing, may God continue to bless the hands of your work 🙏🏽 I’m so happy 😃 for Ken. I’m in the U.K, it’s very cold 🥶 so it was nice of you to equip him with a few warm gears in preparation for the weather. I’m sure we’ll get further updates once he arrives 😊

  • I am so so happy for Ken to have met you. He is returning home and thanks to your kindness and devotions. God Bless you and your family tremendously !!!

    • Either way, living standards there will be much better than what he is going through here. I enrolled in helping to get him home, so if he reached out for me to help him stay, I probably wouldn’t get involved, sadly

    • @qadventures  I agree given his age. My goal is to save up, build a life in the Philippines and never look back.

  • Wow ,what an amazing blessing you are to Ken, This is an amazing story, god bless you brother,I hope all goes well for Ken,and he makes it back to the Phillipines, also the person that took him in to her house is also a very blessed person, thankyou very much.

  • I pity him going to UK. Heathrow is now run by Pakistanis who can be quite hostile. London is full of criminals. It will be cold like he has forgotten how bad it can be.
People are mostly unfriendly, unhelpful and too busy.
He may have an idea of the country as it used to be. It is now a very difficult place to live. Especially for the elderly. Young people will push you out of their way. It’s scarey.
I hope we will keep up with Ken in UK to make sure he is ok.
He is a bit famous now so that may help him .

  • Not a bit surprised he has a date in the Philippines, Filipina ladies are only interested in your wallet not your love, never give your personal information to anyone especially a Filipino they will milk your account dry.

  • I read his face mix with ecitement and worry about his future🎉 situation living his homeland without relative island Phil. still in his hearth but the problem is corruption injustice

  • HALLLEUJAH!!! ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 PRAISE JESUS!!!

SUCH WONDERFUL NEWS TO HEAR HE IS GOING HOME TO UK!!!

GLORY TO THE GOD OF THE TWO MIGHTIEST MIGHTIEST PROPHETS OF JEHOVAH YAHWEH!!!!

    🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • I’ve never been so happy to see a happy ending like this. Ken happy for you Derrick maythe Lord bless your good heart. Proud of you. From another mother❤❤❤❤❤
